hate promoting big corporations but.  can i just say.  five below t shirts are the best t shirts in my humble opinion.  they’re fun.  the designs don’t get all hard or flaky after a couple washes.  and also, best part, they’re like.  baby soft.  like i am physically suffering but this 80s style my little pony t shirt and the duplicate version i cut into a tank top sure aren’t!!! <3

#i have a duplicate because i got one for me as a gift and then months later my friend got me another one also as a gift #and like damn. two versions of the same pony shirt for different temperatures and moods??? incredible <3 #like i still don't quite understand some of the ideas behind aesthetics. #the term started coming up when i was maybe a freshman or sophomore in high school but it wasn't used tooooo crazily #and i didn't like quiiite understand and i still don't with all the -core stuff now #but that being said. kidcore makes neurodivergent brain happy :) bright colors and my interests and also also also!!! #the graphics on the shirt are literally the same size as actual g1 my little pony toys #that may be the best part. #the shirt has parasol skydancer and moonstone on it and i only have parasol but like #i can put her next to the parasol on this shirt and it's like. same size different pose. incredible stuff #im gonna look at kidcore pictures on pinterest and get the same feeling i get when i see colored vinyl records and telecasters anyway #i don't know how to explain it. it activates this primal childlike thing where i want to put things that don't belong in my mouth in my mou #mouth* #..i also age regress though so like that detail would probably make much more sense #mlp tw

Dim Mak x My Little Pony Collection

Steve Aoki’s fashion label, Dim Mak, has joined forces with Hasbro to release the official Dim Mak x My Little Pony collaboration with a collection of retro-inspired apparel celebrating the iconic series. Drawing from the first generation of “My Little Pony” from the early ‘80s, the characters once again venture off to discover the magic of love and friendship with Steve Aoki – this time, reinterpreted through the bold graphics, bright colorways, and unexpected mashups for which Dim Mak is known.  

Although there have been hundreds of ponies throughout the history of “My Little Pony,” a distinguished few were always regarded as the Originals. These ponies were not only collector favorites and starred in the retro TV series but were among the first to show the world how love, friendship, and kindness can conquer all.  Blossom, Butterscotch, Cotton Candy, Firefly, Glory, Medley, Moonstone, Parasol, Skydancer, Starshine, and others all appear together once again to show that it doesn’t matter if you are a unicorn or pegasus; blue, pink or white; boy or girl; you’re welcome in Ponyland.

Designed to celebrate these ideals, the Dim Mak x My Little Pony collaboration blends original artwork from the retro-series with pastel and rainbow colorways for a super cute capsule of t-shirts and hoodies. Graphics depict the ponies mischievously frolicking amongst rainbows, castles, and the clouds; but seen through the lens of Dim Mak’s effervescent aesthetic.

The Dim Mak x My Little Pony collaboration, licensed by Hasbro, will be available on Friday, May 18th, 2022, at midnight EST exclusively at dimmakcollection.com and on the NTWRK platform.
