so, i was watching marks playthrough of the return to bloody nights, a fnaf fangame, and i need to get this off my chest……. am i the only one who thinks wathel broggie bears an EXTREME resemblance to cave johnson from portal? first off, the pre-recorded messages, which may be a stretch but it leads into my other points— the way wathel talks, especially on thursday night, sounds like he’s trying to do his best impression of jk simmons’ cave johnson. the language and expressions he uses don’t help. also the fact that wathel is the CEO and has his own assistant, karen, who interrupts during one of the pre-recorded messages. she for sure gives caroline vibes. this leads me to believe that the creator of this game might be a portal fan (or at least inspired by), which i respect, and it makes me wonder if that means they’re going to go the same direction that portal 2 went: will one of them get turned into an robot? more likely, will WATHEL get turned into an robot? it is foreshadowed on thursday night:

(74) The Return to Bloody Nights

I wish fnaf fangames would stop using filters on the cameras. I know it is an aesthetic choice, but it makes it difficult to see anything on them. I'd appreciate it if there was an option to turn it off.

Besides that, the game is good. The animatronics look great, the ambiance is chilling, and the jump scares are fantastic. I also like how you don’t have a limited amount of power, and you instead have a time limit on how long you can use the doors. It creates a lot of tension when the animatronics gang up on you. Overall I enjoyed my time with it.

Fuck the other Fredbear though. He's the only reason the game is hard as hell.
