I am begging authors to stop writing paragraph-long notes at the beginning of fics/chapters where characters who are 16-18 have sex. Stop with the endless disclaimers and the apologies and the "take care of yourself!" and "skip this if it's going to make you uncomfy!" and the "I don't specify their ages so you can believe they're 18 if that's easier for you!"

Teenagers have sex. It's normal and it's healthy and it doesn't require warnings and it's weird that you're doing this constant hand-wringing in your fics about fictional teens having fictional sex.
