jonny said he wants this series to be "something that dives more into organizations" and is “less isolated” than MAG1

I think it's worth noting that "universe" was a key word here. A continuation of The Magnus Archives universe. Meaning the "continuation" does not necessarily return to Jon and Martin. Before anyone gets too excited. Or upset. Depending on your personal feelings towards that possibility.
