like we were so lucky. i doubt we will be that lucky ever again

#the kindest and goofiest dog to live on this earth #he never ever harmed anyone. not other dogs. not other animala #he was so silly with my tiny rabbit and i never had to be afraid that hed hurt him #or cats for that matter #he was so patient too. he cried so often but he was such a patient little man #he just wanted to be around us #i miss him endlessly #i hope he knew how much we loved him. and how much we willmlove him beyond the years he was on this earth #shelter dogs are such a gamble #even if theyre listed as friendly #and he was already 7 by the time we took him home #he lived more than half his life elsewhere #likely carrying past abuse if we go by how he acted in certain situations #and someone else definitely loved him before #but he still loved us so so much. and im happy that i got to love him #even if it wasnt for long
