Seeing Tabata going on hiatus for 3 months to prepare the final arc makes me wish Horikoshi had done the same/been offered the same choice
i feel that if Hori had been allowed a break after 306 then the final arc wouldn't feel as rushed. Reading BNHA this past year has really felt like Hori is just rushing to the finish line and checking off boxes (UA traitor, international pro-heroes, HSPC arc...) without doing those storylines justice. it's a shame cuz Hori used to specialize in slow burn storytelling but everything since 306 has been rapid fire developments one after another
And the fact that Hori has stated that he intends to end BNHA in 2022 means that we have less than 50 chapters to finish everything off which doesn't paint a pretty picture for the story's resolution (tho i am optimistic we'll get sequels/spin-offs to address some of those loose plot threads)
