anyway i wasn’t lying about the 24 hour #THINMAN lockdown it’s happening tomorrow i have so many sets to post

#i really think this ep is a turning point for sam and dean #sam consistently affirms that he isn't going to let dean run from him #and dean consistently defers to sam even while he's being prickly and terrified of rejection #it's very interesting #the ghostfacers as parallels are soooo on the nose #but it's also an example (for dean) of what #anybody other than sam would have done #and how lucky he is that sam didn't leave him when he found out #and i think it's where dean realizes that sam hasn't forgiven him but sam isn't leaving #which allows him to process sam's hurt and anger because the worst of the storm has passed #and his abandonment issues can stop screaming so loud #because the very next episode is blade runners when the MOC arc takes over #so they're essentially tabling the gadreel argument for now #it's just a really good episode! #example number 1037 of how important it is to PAY ATTENTION to sam's body language and not what the writers (fail to) script for him #.txt #tag essays #9x15
