thing is i know ronan lynch is extremely male presenting. like mstief has made this abundantly clear. he is a guy’s guy through and through, muscle bro, gym tank top, piss in the woods, manly beard type of guy who likes guy things like fast cars and power tools. i get this. i understand it. so you have to understand that when i say he would deeply relate to the lyric i’ve got that good girl faith and a tight little skirt i do mean in a purely spiritual way. like that’s very much not him but also in a real way it IS him. do you see my vision

Your conspiracy theory about why swifties don't like Olivia is so funny and interesting to me because I remember back in 2021 my brother, who was a fan of the show Olivia was in, was getting annoyed at all the swifties taking over the fandom. I told him it's because of the whole Olivia being Taylor's daughter thing so they've sort of adopted her, and I distinctly remember him saying they only like her because she's a small artist and that if she was big enough to threaten Taylor they would start hating her the way some already hate on Arianna. Lo and behold, once it was clear that Olivia wasn't going to be a one hit wonder or a mid fame artist, but was instead being labelled the next big thing in pop, they started turning on her.
I didn't hear about Taylor getting writing credits on deja vu until a couple of months ago when I saw a tiktok that broke the situation down, but apparently first Paramore sued because good 4 U sounds like a song of theirs and they settled for 50% and then Taylor sued and she got 34% or something for some reason. Whilst neither party will probably ever come out and tell the full story outside of careful PR lines, I'm leaning towards white women doing what they do when it comes to successful woc rather than Olivia decided to one day randomly give away a good chunk of her change away for shits and giggles.
sorry for the late response anon 😅
your brother was so on point about the whole ordeal with liv — it didn’t even strike me till after the release of vampire and the amount of hate she was getting from swifties who were simultaneously praising sabrina carpenter and gracie abrams
also i honestly didn’t know that taylor also sued and it’s kinda icky to me that she would do that knowing full well that olivia would face the same obstacles she did only it’ll be worse for her as a woman of colour
i wouldn’t want to think that taylor is so malicious as to leech off of a child but considering she basically used ice spice to clean up her nasty ex’s reputation and convince the world that she isn’t a shitty asf human being for dating an antisemitic, homophobic, misogynistic, racist maybe i’m just deluding myself by believing that
anyways, sorry again for the late response — i’ve been really busy with uni and stuff

Hey guys! So, I went to Club Nomadic and saw the beautiful, Taylor Swift, last night! She was amazing! We showed up about 10:30 am and stood in line. My friend and I finally decided to go to the store because we were hungry and guess what? As we were walking up, Scott Swift was walking inside! Everyone had gotten pictures with him, but us! Just our luck. But, that didn't bring us down. Anyways, there was another line forming at the end of the street because people weren't allowed to get in from that side of the street for some reason. Our side was open. Let me tell you some things you didn't miss out on... An organized event: This was THE most unorganized event I have ever been to! The staff was horrible, the employees had absolutely no idea what was going on and this was their third night going through this routine. Since there were two lines and our line was there first, they yelled at us to get into a single file line so that we don't cut others and they told us to be "respectful" at all times. So, we did. Our group hung out all day together. Literally until 9pm when we went inside the venue. We were following each other whenever they said "swiftstakes stand on Street and invited guests, stand on Silver Street. Only two went to invited guests. I stopped this guy who was either named Craig or Greg (The second most rude guy there) and asked what it at&t parties would be considered. He told us invited guests. We went to the invited guests and I double checked with another guy and he said "wrong line" with an attitude. So, I got annoyed and informed him that this guy just told us to go to this new line, putting us out of our original line. The guy corrected himself and apologized but, I told him we were getting back where we were and he said it was fine. So, they bring the other line and they say, "everyone, this is up to you. Let these people in your line." We're all standing there annoyed because who knows if they just got there or not? He points to us and tells them to jump in front of us. The girls felt bad but, we let them. He saw my face as I was getting annoyed with the unorganized staff and said "Listen, it really doesn't matter who's in front of who and where you're at in the line. You'll be first in there and you'll have a great view." That made us feel better. But, we had people jumping in the lines, they would fuss at them to get to the back. Great. Until, people would just walk up saying, "in their plus one." Their answer? That's fine. How do you truly know that they're the plus one? Also, people were walking through while Craig/Greg was occupied saying I have a special band...he didn't stop them to look or confirm. The rude staff: We had one situation where an at&t event employee walked over and started yelling at us to not block the people's gates. So, please keep in mind, we're in a line on a sidewalk in front of town houses. So, we start trying to move back...the people behind us aren't going anywhere. So, my friend's mom who was holding her signs that she made for her daughter, stopped the woman and asked for her to please ask the people behind them to scoot back and her reply? Well, she said, "get back on the sidewalk, picketer." And left...that was at 1pm. We finally moved up across the street to check in at 7pm. My friend who had been there ALL day with us had a boyfriend that was in the pre-party but, she was his plus one. She was nervous since she had to have him come with her to check out. They had just called her name and he finally shows up to get in line. A police officer yells at him to get in the back of the line. She starts saying it was her plus one, he said "I don't care." I stopped and said, "they said plus ones could jump in with the owner of the tickets. They had people jump in in front of us." And the people at the table started yelling at me to get up there. So, I checked in and I passed up my friend and she's crying because they won't let her through without him, yet, they're making him go all the way to the back when he's already checked in because of the pre-party...I stopped again after being done with checking myself in and another woman is now telling him to go to the end with her. I turned around and said once again, "they said plus ones can jump in and the staff earlier let them get in front of us for that reason." She yelled at me also to leave. He ended up saying "why do I need to check in again if I'm already checked in for the pre-party and show?" She finally lets her check in and head inside. Again, they're rude and extremely unorganized and there was so much miscommunication. Unfairness: The pre-party was made up of people who were personally invited by TaylorNation. Which...you know is either big accounts on Instagram, Tumblr, Twitter, etc and people who bought merchandise during the 13 Days Of Taylor. Sorry, I couldn't do that. But, that doesn't make me any less of a committed Swiftie. Once we got in line to go through the entry to check your bags and scan you, Craig/Greg came up again saying "no running. You will be booted to the end of the line if you do. No cutting, be respectful." Soooo, as soon as we're getting ready...he says form three lines. What does everyone do? Push up and it mixes people from the back up ahead the people that were in the front. What happened to "be respectful. Stay in order so that you're here according to what time you got here?" But, we didn't know yet what they had planned way earlier and what was about to happen. Of course, they opened it and everyone pushed forward and ran through all the way up to another gate. Now, we have people who we have never seen that whole day of being there, in front of us. But, he didn't care about being respectful now. Because someone said, "hey, I heard that there's 6 groups of the pre-party people that will be going in first. Okay, 40 people? That's fine. No. More like 10 groups with 20 or so people each. Yeah, and once Craig/Greg got up to them, he was high fiving them, cheering for them, nice as can be. It's funny how organized the pre-party's event inside was. Since it involves food, drinks, games, photo booths, shirts to make (which we didn't get a choice on any merchandise because there was none at the show) and how they were brought single file line into the venue, while walking. The rudeness of fans: Some weren't doing this, but a good amount of Swifties who were brought into the venue walked by saying "I'd hate to be in their line," "why the frown faces?" "Smile, guys!" Etc. why do they have to act like that? Because they were put on their high horse. Literally. We were treated like we were nothing when really, we waited in line all day. They showed up 3 hours before the concert started and easily got front row just because they're "special." It's sad. One "Swiftie" even walked by going into the venue saying, "if this concert wasn't in Texas, I probably would have never went." Okay, that just makes me angry coming from a Swiftie who drove from Louisiana. A Swiftie who flew from Colorado. A Swiftie who drove from Florida. We all have to wait for your groups to go in. Back to the rudeness of the staff: After they were so calmly being escorted inside the venue, I asked the guy at the barricade, "Are we going in little at a time?" His response? "No, I'm just going to move over the barricade and let y'all trample over each other." Why? Because we're dirt. We're just people who just want to get in the show but have no right to? Craig/Greg came back over and I tried to ask him a question and he raised his hand up at me and said "hold on." Pre-party was coming back through. Not to mention, they kept losing their pre-party members because some were drunk and had no idea where to go. He never came back to me. He even stood near me and never said anything. He came back and someone next to me asked him, "hey, we're already being pushed, can we just go in little by little?" After the guy at the barricades response. He actually went and asked and the guy at the barricade said no. So, they announced they were going to let us in but we can't run and we need to walk in. They had this little pathway. You expect a crowd the width of 20 people to let that first line go, then the next, with people from the back, pushing you forward to run past you? No. The worker that called the mom a picketer yelled "stop running!" Nobody stopped, so, I saw people that I've never seen all day getting ahead of me, so I just ran past her and said "well, everyone else is running." I there was already 3 rows deep of people at the front and cat walk that were pre-party, so, I found to the far right a spot, then, the person in front of me, ended up going further back so I took her spot and ended up being front row. What it comes down to? We were lied to. He said we were going to be first in. You just so happened to forget the huge party that was going on for three hours and that they get first dibs? Right. You could've been much nicer and treated us all the same, but you didn't. And it saddens me to know that this fandom most likely comes down to how many followers you have, who you know, if people like you, etc. apparently, there was a bunch of members there that have already been invited to other Swiftie events. Why not give everyone a chance? Only one person in the pre-party turned to us and said "shouldn't they go in first?" What you didn't miss: That horrible, misleading livestream. Why would AT&T tweet back to people acting suspicious whenever Swifties ask if it's about TS6?!?!?! That's lying (again) and leading people into excitedly watching this livestream only to find out it's about a wall of...flowers? That's pathetic. What you did miss: Randy! While being stuck on the sidewalk, there was a guy named Randy who was barbecuing. He had ridden his bike past our line this morning, happily waving at us. Then, he came walking down the street with his wife and Labradoodle. We hung out with Randy for 6 hours. He was our dj. He played "All Too Well" (ironically) for us and made us laugh. He even ordered 8 boxes of pizza for us without even telling us. He was sweet and fun. So was his wife! They had previously went to the Club Nomadic show the night before us for Bruno Mars. While the police were fussing at us for blocking his gate, he fussed back (jokingly) saying it's not a big deal and it's fine. We also had a balcony next door that played "I Don't Wanna Live Forever" (ironically also.) You missed a great group of Swifties: Though we didn't feel important to the AT&T staff, we felt important to each other. We made friends with each other, laughed together, enjoyed each other's 10+ hour company. It was a blast. Another thing you missed: Taylor's amazing show. In this post, I'm not fussing at Taylor at all. This was not her doing. Im fussing at at&t and the events team. Taylor blew us away like always. Love you, Taylor. This show was still amazing and the crew inside on stage were very helpful. My rant here is done. :)

Official ranking for Taylor Swift’s 7th studio album; Lover.
It’s officially been five days since Lover came out and I am finally ready to say what is gonna be my official ranking and review for now. I’m pretty sure it’ll change in the next few months, but that’s how I feel about it five days after. Keep in mind that this album doesn’t have any skips in my opinion. My 18th choice is just my least favorite but I love them all.
18. It’s Nice To Have A Friend
I think the overall feeling of the song is really pretty. The voices in the back doing the harmony is really beautiful. I just think that being the shortest song on the album and the one with the lyrics that resonate the least to me, it has to be my least favorite. It’s my only 4 stars on the album.
17. ME!
ME! is the Starbucks drink you order so much that after a few months you just can’t drink it for a while anymore. We got this song on April 26th and was our only song for a good month. I’m just tired of it for the moment. But Taylor and Brendon’s voices together are amazing.
16. Afterglow
I do think the theme of this song is honestly really good and relatable. She talks about her being the problem (take that, haters.) and sometimes ruining good things or starting fights for nothing because of her anxiety, which she automatically regrets. The lyrics and the beat is weak for so much potential in a theme. But it’s still good and I think it’s gonna grow on me.
15. You Need To Calm Down
We love! Obviously not on All Too Well’s level emotion wise but it’s a fun song that’s enjoyable when you wanna have a good time.
14. I Forgot That You Existed
An anthem. A really good album opener. Some people are saying it’s her best album opener... Hum, State of Grace and Welcome To New York are RIGHT THERE, but it’s still an enjoyable bop for anyone that’s ever been really hurt by anyone.
13. Soon You’ll Get Better
It’s literally an amazing song. “I see delusion when I see it in the mirror”??? the lyrics are amazing, the whole thing is beautiful. Would be in my top 10 if it wasn’t so FUCKING SAD. (It’s about her mother’s cancer... so trigger warning everyone before listening to it!)
12. London Boy
Such a fun song. The start reminds me of Ariana’s Thank You, Next album. The whole thing is really good and there’s some AMAZING vocals in there. 10/10.
11. I Think He Knows
The only one I didn’t like at first but it’s slowly making it’s way into my top 10. It’s really good and funny and you can see she’s having fun singing it and gonna love performing it on tour. A really good song.
10. The Man
“If I was out flashing my dollars I’d be a bitch not a baller.”
“I’m so sick of running as fast as I can, wondering if i’d get there quicker if I was a man.”
She did what she had to do. That’s all.
9. False God
The saxophone makes this song so moving and sexy and just overall really fucking good. People are sleeping on it though which is making me really mad because IT’S SO GOOD.
8. Daylight
This is Lover’s Clean. It’s so pure and amazing and I love the part where she talks at the end. It’s so poetic and beautiful and hopeful. I love it.
7. The Archer
“All of my enemies started out friends.”
Yup, a sad bitch anthem about people leaving you. I feel that and I love having a song to cry to! Goodnight!
6. Miss Americana And The Heartbreak Prince
She created a whole High School theme for this song and it’s literally so genius? The bridge being cheerleaders chants? There’s also a big political reference in it apparently I have yet to get but it’s just amazing.
5. Lover
I loved this song from the moment I heard it. It’s so beautiful and romantic and sums up the album so well. It captures being in love amazingly and it’s just a masterpiece as a whole.
4. Paper Rings
This is the most fun song we’ve gotten from Taylor since Holy Ground in Red. It makes you wanna run around everywhere and dance in a brand new dress somewhere. Also, the lyrics and the atmosphere is amazing. “The moon is high like your friends were the night that we first met.” Hilarious. Lit rally hilarious.
3. Cruel Summer
So good. The bridge is amazing. The lyrics are amazing. The chorus is amazing. I’ve never felt this way listening to a song since Halsey’s Roman Holiday. It makes you feel like you’re flying or living out a fun friendship montage with this song in the background in the coming of age movie in your mind. A bop.
2. Death By A Thousand Cuts
Was almost my first. Will probably be my first soon. The second verse is amazing. Was inspired from one of my favorite movies. The lyrics are amazing, the whole thing is amazing. Just perfect.
1. Cornelia Street
You probably know by now that I love sad songs. This song is her saddest since All Too Well and any swiftie can say that All Too Well is sad as fuck. It’s just so emotional yet hopeful and you can feel how scared she is to lose him. The part where it turns to piano? Yes. Did I cry? Yes. It’s just amazing and dare I say, one of the best songs in her entire discography.
Anyway, this is her best album. Thank you. 10/10 to the entire thing. She better win Album of The Year at the Grammy’s or I’ll sue. Also : Screw anyone who has ever thought “TaylorSwiftIsOverParty” would actually be real. Because, jokes on you! This album proves that even 7 albums in her career, she’s still just getting started.
