There's a post on Twitter asking people to share their most controversial Transformers opinion(s) and I don't feel like putting it on my Twitter account so I'm gonna do it here.

TFP Starscream deserved so much better and shouldn't have been treated like he was by the Autobots. He would have been an amazing addition to their team as he's smart and knows a lot of Decepticon intel due to him being former second in command.

I don't blame Arcee for reacting the way she did (she's actually one of my other fav characters from TFP), but I think Optimus should have reached out to Starscream after the fact to try and get Starscream to come back.

Also, the times Starscream reached out to the Autobots for help with his injuries, only to be met with disdain, was garbage. He shouldn't have had to give them information in exchange for them providing medical care. At that point, he was injured badly enough to not really pose a threat. They should have just helped him.

Lastly, Starscream's character arc as a whole was garbage. He was essentially a punching bag for the Autobots and Decepticons. He took a major step backwards when he went back to the Decepticons. It would have been cool to see the Autobots actually try and make things work, and have Starscream realize he's much happier with them.

But we didn't get that. We got a character who got shat on at every opportunity to the point where neither side wanted him. He deserved so much better, and it's a shame that he was treated so badly.
