Was Victor in your game missing an eye when the party met him? Or did he lose it while with them?

when we met him he already wore the eyepatch! (and walked with a cane too) and later we found out he has an eye that is black with white iris (maybe that's why he covers it)

i think he can see things that are invisible, grants him darkvision, and maybe detect magic too. these are just observations based on what he was doing. ALSO he is a warlock in our game so i am pretty sure that's his arcane focus. When Strahd revealed himself he said he made a deal with forces he shoudn't, so that's why forcefully took that eye, and later took Viktor too, to "make sure this never happens again" whatever that would convey.

my biggest regret is that we didn't dare to ask him what's up with his eye bc we just met him and i didn't want to bombard him with these questions, when isaac on the other hand would be displeased if somebody poked at his wolf arm (so idk, my teammates didn't ask either *cries*)
