MHA Chapter 421 spoilers translations

This week’s initial tentative super rough/literal translations under the cut.

(Note: What Sero is saying here is that one time Shouto had this look on his face that is described by the Japanese slang word: gangimari. Gangimari refers to an intense, eyes-wide face that comes from a marijuana high. It also refers to a feeling of emptiness that comes with the high. If you search for images of the face, you'll see it's often a frightening look. I believe Sero here is referring to the face Shouto makes at him in their sports festival battle in chapter 34, so I believe this description is meant to refer to how Shouto was overwhelmed with anger and mentally somewhat removed from the fight itself.)

Honestly, I feel like Ichiro would be the most obvious with his fanatics. He's already been shown in canon to be an unabashed anime / manga fan so can u imagine how he'd act towards you??!?!?!

Ichi has a binder full of prints for your official art that he keeps in the Odd Jobs Yamada office. He looks at it in downtimes, kicking his feet and squealing as he stares. Ichi also scours second hand sites to try and get merch for cheaper than official. He owns pins, stickers, plushies, and SO, SO MANY KEYCHAINS.

He honestly is the one most likely to write/read fan fiction too LMAO. Shipfic, platonic fics, reader insert- it doesn't matter. Don't tell his brothers, they'd be absolutely mortified.

Ramuda secretly runs one of those Twitter accounts that take pictures of their mochis/nuis in different irl settings!!! He MAKES little outfits for a nui of you and is so proud of all of them.

For every little cafe he goes to he always makes sure to take a pic that implies cute little nui of you is the one that just demolished 3 pieces of cake.

In the times where Ramu was still working with Chuuoku, he'd pull your nui out of his pocket and talk to you while he's scheming ;_; He has the image in his mind that you're the only one that would ever accept him as he is.

But my favorite image of this ask has to be DOPPO!! DOPPO!!! DOPPOOO !!! I saw this image once of ties that have anime charas in the inside and I think it's so silly to imagine Doppo has one of those of you AHAHAHA.

Doppo can't have personal items on his desk at work, so aside from his tie he has a little keychain of you tied to his bag :C Whenever he gets in his real shitty moods Doppo holds onto it and just mutters mutters mutters.

Since Doppo is the chara that speaks the most of his personal life / inner thoughts in his raps- imagine that he frequently mentions you in his verses and ship art of you and Doppo starts floating around in the Matenro fandom LOL. He'd be so embarrassed but he'd secretly love it.

Bonus!!

Dice keeps a mochi of you in his pocket at all times, calling it his personal good luck charm. Whenever he's gambling he squishes it real hard and always has to apologize to it after.

Saburo is the most embarrassed about having a comfort character. The most obvious he is about it is having you as his desktop background but other than that he is too embarrassed to go out and buy merch. Ichiro buys him a lil plush of you for his birthday and he starts to cryyyyy.

Hitoya keeps an acrylic standee of you on his office desk but he faces it towards his clients LMAO. He comes across as so unserious.

hello, toki cube anon. You and plvtosun and glassgilotine were some of the first, and I found people from there. I don't mean to do harm to anyone. I did not send all of those but most. I am very sorry I've hurt you.

Yo?? I'm... going to respond as if this is the true OG Cube Anon. Obviously I have no way to verify. I'm also going to speak only for myself.

Okay, first of all, this experience for me, personally, has been a fun and hilarious experience. The Toki Cube phenomenon was a delightful addition to my Monday morning and watching the fandom run wild with it has been amazing. The mystery?? The craze?? Seriously. But yeah, no harm done to me!

By the same token, I'm hoping you're able to take all the memes in stride.

Next, if the original request was meant to be genuine, I highly recommend you look into commissioning an artist for your request. Assuming this was meant to be a NSFW thing like most of us are assuming, most fanartists don't do smut for free unless you're a good friend. Like, no harm no foul from my perspective since I make no promises about fulfilling requests anyway, but you're probably not going to get what you're looking for for free.

Another piece of advice - it can also get a little weird peppering a bunch of artists with the same request, especially in a fandom this small. There are only a few dozen Mtl artists that are active and most of us know each other. If your request had been more specific, it might have ended up feeling a little plagiaristic for all 30 of us to be working on the same image.

Anyway, uh, thanks for this experience! It's been a wild one to say the least.

so just for context, this is probably happening at around s1 era.

Pickles let out a relieved sigh once the final recordings of the album were sent off to Crystal Mountain Records. "Well," he said. "I guess that's it, then. Album's gonna come out in a few months."

"Fucking finally," Nathan replied. "Felt like we've been working on that one for ages."

"Well, yea. You kept deleting all the files, remember?" Pickles nudged him in the ribs with his elbow.

"It wasn't perfect yet." He shoved Pickles's elbow away.

"Yea, yea, I know all about it." He looked back at the rest of the band, who didn't seem to be paying much attention to the finalization of the record--Skwisgaar was playing his guitar as usual, William was idly stabbing at the couch, and Toki was playing some sort of video game. "Wanna celebrate?" he whispered.

Nathan glanced back at the rest of the band too. "You mean, going drinking?" he muttered back. "With those dickweeds?"

"Nope." Pickles tugged at his bicep a bit, gesturing for him to follow him out of the recording studio. Nathan followed begrudgingly, and when the door shut, separating them from the rest of their band, Pickles handed him the flashdrive with the master recordings on it. "Keep an eye on this, will ya? Yer the only one I trust with it."

Nathan frowned, taking it in his hand. "Me?"

"Yea. Ya deleted pretty much everything we'd been working on, I figure this one's probably gotta be the best thing we could possibly have, right? Plus, I even got one of the Klokateer geeks to recover 'Thunderhorse' and the other Viking Trilogy songs."

"Okay, but...why?"

Pickles leaned in close to Nathan, his goatee brushing just so against Nathan's jawline. "'Cause I trust ya, dummy. And I don't wanna lose any song we wrote together." He leaned back again, giving Nathan his signature crooked grin. "Don't deleted those too, okay? I'll seriously kill ya."

"I know. I won't." Nathan pocketed the flashdrive. "So...wanna start planning our friender-bender?"

An image far too risqué to ever say aloud flashed in Pickles's mind, and he nodded.

They didn't expect to fall for each other or even become befriended due to having clashing personalities, but thanks to Peter B, they connected more- though he wasn't rlly trying to get them together romantically lol

They started out as rivals, then friends, then lovers! (my fave trope ever)

But they both were too afraid to love because of their upbringing, this committment process took FOREVER (I imagine it being very painfully obvious for the other people from the Spider Society that Miguel and Namfon have chemistry) Again, I try not to tell too much in one post, I just document my OC lore and headcanons here on this account because Twitter doesn't allow for such long texts. Also their ship name is MIGFON! My other friend Toki came up with that, and I have been so happy about this every since!

kloktober day 13: nightmares or visions

how about a little of both as i continue my streak

Toki was falling.

Not that it was an unusual thing, falling like this. He'd had enough nightmares that somewhere in his subconscious he was well aware of when one was happening, not that he could actually do anything about it.

This was going on for a while, though. Toki opened one eye, looked upwards at the rainbows that were getting further and further away as he sank into the darkness, and waited to hit ground. Who would it be this time? His dad? Magnus? Himself?

He didn't hit ground. It was pitch black around him now, and he wasn't sure if he was seeing anything or not.

And then he stopped, suspended in midair. The darkness around him trembled. Or maybe he trembled. Something trembled, anyway, and suddenly flashes of images started to fill his mind, one after the other, strobing too hard to get a great look at any of them, but they certainly left an impression. Himself, the others, entities he didn't recognize. Death, everywhere.

A skeletal finger pointed insistently at him, directly at his mind, and he fell once again until he hit Nothing.

"There ams more!" Toki gasped as he sat up.

Everyone turned to look at him, mildly perturbed. He'd fallen asleep on the floor, apparently, and everyone else had moved to the hot tub in the meantime.

"More what?" Pickles asked.

"More fallings asleep when we ams tryings to hangs out?" Skwisgaar scoffed.

"Shut up, I wanna hear this," Murderface said.

"Yeah, uh, all that shit we dids?" Toki said nervously, getting to his feet. "That… wasn'ts all of it. I thinks. I gots… the skeletons guy tolds me."

"Nobody told me there's more," Nathan said. "How come Toki gets to find out there's more? I'm the guy who finds out if there's more!"

Nathan climbed out of the hot tub and stomped over to Toki, soaking wet and dripping all over the place. He grabbed Toki's head and started shaking it. "C'mon, hand the stuff over."

Toki laughed and shoved Nathan back, huge grin on his face. Maybe it didn't matter what was to come, what his future role might be, as long as he was here with his family.

Okay talking about my headcanon that skwisgaar has ocd:

Gonna talk about his intrusive thoughts (warning for violence & sexual shit), fear of contamination and perfectionism.

First of all, for anyone who doesn't know, intrusive thoughts are a big OCD thing, these are disturbing or disgusting etc. thoughts that are obviously unwanted and distressing and frequently focus on certain themes.

Skwisgaar struggles a lot with really horrible sexual intrusive thoughts about his mother, one of the most common ones that keeps popping up in his head is the flashback of his mother when he was trauamtized by her as a kid. Its like reliving it all over again and it leaves him feeling sick and disgusted everytime.

Seeing his mother triggers it the most of course, and whenever she visits mordhaus, he obviously hates being near her for a multitude of reasons, one of biggest ones being how sexually explicit she is with no concern for boundaries or other's peoples comfort, and he'll vent to the other guys about it, but only to a very small extent, comments that we see talking about 'why ams she wearins that fuckins dress, ams she a strippers' etc.

Skwisgaar keeps it all to himself, disgusted by the thoughts and obviously never wanting to share them or talk about them. Maybe after so many years of knowing and living with each other, the more perceptive members start to get an inkling of what he's dealing with (if you wanna go the charles has ocd too route, maybe charles senses he's suffering with it too and tries to offer a bit of comfort without addressing the ocd itself but we know Charles isn't the best at comforting and skwisgaar isnt the best at allowing himself to be vulnerable around people)

Anyways, so you can imagine just how extra horrible all those serveta scenes are for skwisgaar, like the end of the cursed christmas special, and of course, when he moves back to sweden only to be retraumatized all over again. He keeps these thoughts secret for years and never intends on sharing them with anyone.

After Toki gets kidnapped by Magnus, he starts getting a lot of intrusive thoughts about Toki getting tortured etc, and the image of Toki hanging upside down, all bloody and beat and starved is burned into his mind forever. For a while after doomstar, maybe skwisgaar even avoids toki because seeing him triggers these thoughts even worse, and it builds up until Toki finally confronts him.

Now as you know I love skwistok lol and I think if they were at a point in their relationship where Skwisgaar chooses to trust Toki with Knowing him and all his vulnerabilities and struggles etc he would open up about it, sobbing and not being able to bear looking at toki but needing to explain what horrible shit is happening in his head and why it makes it so difficult. "It ams likes, my worst nightmares, yous just, gettins stabbs overs and overs, and Magnus ams deres and he ams doings... De worst tings to you... Sometimes it amnsts even hims, sometimes it ams mes .." you get it some real big angst hurt and comfort stuff. Toki understands, sees his distress and tries his best to reassure him that he knows him and knows skwisgaar would never want to hurt him and never want to see him hurt.

Okay, now for the contamination OCD side of things.

Skwisgaar takes really long elaborate showers, has a whole routine and process to decontaminate that he has to repeat over and over until it just Feels Right, and if he wasn't a god with life & healing powers (and a bunch of expensive creams and products) his skin would probably be scrubbed dry. The sheer grossness of dethklok and their party till you vomit lifestlye though acts as really good exposure therapy lol and over time he gets better and better with all his contamination ocd related compulsions like showers handwashing, and just generally feels less repulsed and anxious going about life than he used to. He's never felt so liberated getting nasty with dethklok lol

Alright, a big ocd thing too is this whole 'just right' thing, where you have to keep repeating something over and over until it feels right. It makes recording sessions even harder when he has to keep playing the same lick over and over until it feels right, even tho the guys swear the last one was fine.

He also has the whole perfectionist thinking (another big ocd thing) too, when it comes to recording sessions and obviously, releasing albums. He and Nathan kind of share this, and will keep rerecording, redoing, and rewriting trying to get things perfect until they get exhausted, and become too overwhelmed to finish. This is pretty much canon, we see this esp in Nathan deleting albums over and over and being concerned about it not being perfectly brutal enough. It seems like they're either working on the album really intensively trying to get it perfect, or not working on it at all and avoiding deadlines.

it’s a little over an hour long, + i made one on youtube for anyone who wants to listen but doesn’t use spotify. there’s 18 songs, about half of them are in spanish. i couldn’t find any spanish/english lyric videos so sorry about that </3 but i did put in some mvs that i thought were cool on the youtube playlist. (except for the pretty woman one lmao the message at the end is good but it’s uhhh… kinda weird lol so feel free to ignore it and just listen to the song)

maría la curandera - it’s like her favorite tía in mexico teaching her about doing limpias (spiritual cleansings) for herself when she visited as a kid. cozy comforting vibe overall

cumbia feminista, mujer moderna, whore - these are grouped together because they deal with purity culture, which is something blanca had to deal with her whole life and it felt like it got worse the older she got. people trying to dictate what she wore, how she expressed herself, being catcalled and shamed, all that fun stuff :))) whore specifically relates to her dynamic with someone from her past who tried to put his idealized image onto her and got mad when it didn’t line up with who she actually is. she blares that song when she’s reminiscing and she looooves shouting “you love me for everything you hate me for” at the top of her lungs.

crumbling down → recuérdame → la llorona* - things are rough, but she’s alright for the most part now that she’s living on her own finally. → death of the tía she was close to, she struggles with it a lot because she felt like no one else really understood and accepted her fully. → remembering the time she was visiting said tía and how she and her cousin saw la llorona! the song comforts her because it’s a reminder and again, she thought la llorona was kind of pretty. (she wonders if la llorona scared the shit out of her cousin on purpose, to make him drop her instead of tossing her into the river to fuck with her…)

la vida es un sueño* - she lives life how the hell she wants! she’s over people trying to take advantage of her and tell her how to act. she’s angry and tired and done. side note, my favorite lines are “corazón sangrado, me has abandonado / necesito una limpia, que ando embrujado” (“bleeding heart, you abandoned me / i need a cleansing, because i’m cursed”)

So a few months back, I set up a poll for readers to decide the subject of the next commission I ordered, and the winner was "One of those pics where somebody goes 'not to be a lesbian but oh my gosh.'" I mean, it wasn't even close. Granted, there were only 23 voters, but more than half of them wanted to see Luffa cheesecake, and like the Sith Lord said, I love democracy.

I knew Vani would do a great job with this, but I still needed to settle on a concept. There's a Vendela Lindblom photoshoot where she's wearing a yellow swimsuit and a jacket, so I started there, and the legband kind of gives the whole thing a more Saiyan feel.

Costume choices are a tricky thing for Luffa, because she's a Saiyan who lived centuries before all of the Saiyan costumes came to be. It's like having a Roman soldier character, but one who lived before they came up with the Roman soldier helmets. Also I made the character a bit contrarian, where she wouldn't be particularly eager to try on a Frieza Force uniform just to fit in with modern Saiyans. She'd look cute in Seripa's gear, but it's not her style.

So what is her style? I think the above image kind of forced me to consider that question more carefully. Luffa's default outfit is a black shirt, yellow pants, black combat boots, and black fingerless gloves. But a lot of those choices are more about making her distinctive, rather than her own aesthetic. When I was playing the Xenoverse games, I just found the yellow color scheme handy to keep track of which character was me, and I went with baggy pants instead of tights because it was less, er, distracting that way. Vegeta wears gloves and Goku wears wristbands, so Luffa wears fingerless gloves to split the difference, and so on.

Eventually, I started to work it into the story. Yellow is a family color for Luffa, and he family hated the Saiyan monarchy, and the blue that represents it. So Luffa never wears blue if she can help it. And the rest is a matter of practicality. She wears her usual outfit, or something like it, just because it's familiar and comfortable.

But if she had to change things up, depending on the occasion, she might go for a Seripa-style leotard and a Raditz legband. But not the armor vest, because that implies allegiances she doesn't have. So the jacket instead. She throws all this together while rummaging through the back room of the Toki Toki City clothing shop.

So this has me thinking that I should workshop some other fashions for Luffa. She's partial to the color scheme, but she'd probably be down to wear all sorts of things. At least, this is what's been on my mind lately...

The most well known and used is ofc, #ryeblog ,which is given to any post I reblog. It comes from "rye" and "reblog". Another interesting fact is that when I reblog many posts in a short time, I call it a "ryeblitz" (ryeblog + blitz [German for lightning).

For original text-based posts of mine, the tag is #handful of grains, which comes from the fact that I am Rye; but also because originally there was a tag called #sack of grain that never got used and was intended for large text-based original posts.

These tags exists because I have decided to.

TAGS THAT USE TOKI PONA WORDS

#pilin This Toki Pona word describes many concepts, like feelings, emotions, the heart in its both physical and emotional form. However, in this blog, this tag shall only be used for the heart (organ or not) and heart shapes and heart-shaped things.

#kili This word describes fruits and vegetables, all the edible parts of a plant. I also use this tag for stuff made with kili, like French fries, jam and jelly or milkshakes.

#mun This word doesn't just describe the Moon but also all night-sky objects and space objects. This tag replaced the now abandoned #astronomy as stuff like a blanket with sun and moon motifs or the fanart of a furry on the Moon aren't quite related with the science of space.

#kala This word describes fish and all the aquatic animals. Axolotls, whales, jellyfish and crabs may not be fish, but they sure are kala.

#pan As a Spanish speaker you probably have realised this word is for bread. That's right, it's for grains and all grain products. Stuff that is pan but not bread: tortilla, beer, peanut butter, crackers, communion wafers, tejuino. This tag isn't for pansexuality, Tumblr just colours it like that.

#pipi The word for insects and all the little bugs and crechurs, so it includes stuff like spiders and worms.

#waso The word for birds, flying animals and winged animals.

#soko The word for fungi. This tag replaced #mycology.

#akesi The word for reptiles. This tag isn't used for "non-cute animals" as the original meaning of the word expressed and was corrected in 2021.

#kijetesantakalu The word to describe procyonids and musteloids, like ferrets, racoons and tanukis. For the non-Toki Pona speakers. The reason why this word is long and very specific is because it's an April Fools joke that just got too popular.

#in front of them sensors I wears glasses, I like characters that wear them too. So this tag is for that. It also applies to stuff like sport/lab goggles, sunglasses and other eyewear.

#the florist's For flowers. The name is as in a flower shop, just like the butcher's or the chemist's.

#city made of light For photographs of, or art depicting urban light during the night. The night scared us, so we killed it; some beautiful examples of this massacre to our health are Times Square, the Las Vegas strip or Hong Kong neon capital of the East.

#KÖT For cats! The word "köt" isn't for cat in any language btw.

#i do the squeaking For ratas and mice. Tag name based on that one post with the mousegirl house wife.

I don't tag furries for some reasons: First is, what is a furry? Are Moomins furry? Are Sonic characters furries? Furries' opinion on what is furry and what is not a large broad spectrum of thoughts. Second is so people don't block furries from me. If you don't wanna see furries, go and try and see how many tags you need to block to see none, and you will still see some cuz not everyone tags. Also, furries don't get tagged any of the animal tags.

#boyfriendposting Those posts that are like "yeah, sorry that your boyfriend..."

#fake posts Those posts that are made to look like many and have some theme.

#fauxnetics People trying to spell pronunciation using non-standarized methods like the IPA, usually just causing more confusion. Example: "How do you pronounce Chara? Car-uh, Care-uh, Chair-uh or Char-uh?"

#illinois chess Games (doesn't have to be chess, but if chess, funky non-standard chess) [usually board games] with strange setting or rules, impossible to understand. Tag named after this thing from 20020.

#present as the past from the future Meme/joke posts describing modern/contemporany history or the current world as how we speak of the past. Example: "Cowboys were a sort of itinerant warrior class common in Meiji-era Texas."

And this is an ideal case. As I have stated, I'm not 100% reliable and this sytem isn't either. I sometimes miss some tags.

As a final detail. Comments about the post will go after all of these tags and will have proper sentence capitalization and punctuation. This is the hierarchy the tags go which I sometimes miss too.

Skwisgaar felt his patience grow thin the moment he saw William and Toki come in late - never mind that he had spent all night working their parts out and making stage variants for their album tour, he had to work out solos and pedal used --

"Hey! it's our pal Skwischgaar!" William gave him one of those cheesy smiles he did to hide behind. It was charming, but for Skwisgaar it was the sign of something bad.

"I amnst your pals."

"Not even Tokis?"

"You dildos amns lates whats 4 hours for praktises."

"Time is a conschtruct, Skwisgaar. It doesn't matter."

"I amns very tireds from de all-nighting I dids to get your parts readies. Don't insults mine nihilism and mine sleeps wit mumbles-jumbles."

"Scheez - !"

"Moidaface, Tokis - into de booth nows. I shows de parts and you praktises de parts. I amnst in any moods to what goof off like dildos."

Before Toki and William could say anything Skwisgaar rose from the sofa that threatened to put him to sleep and picked up his Explorer, slinging over his shoulder and making his way inside the booth. Normally they pushed their luck with him, but with how Skwisgaar got when sleep was compromised or even interrupted, it was best to follow the Swede's lead and keep heads down.

Usually the only one who even argued back was Pickles when Skwisgaar's temper flared up too much, and even then it was like watching a mom scold their kid for a screaming fit in the supermarket. It usually ended with Nathan telling everyone to sort it out, Skwisgaar leaving in a huff, and then the last of them splitting off to go their own ways because Nathan and Skwisgaar in a mood like that only meant terrible recording sessions.

Toki and William could only look at each other before rushing in with their own axes in hand. Thunderbird and Flying V ready, they did their best but had not done any warm-ups so mistakes piled up and they could see Skwisgaar's patience grow ever thinner. Each upsweep, each gallop, each pluck of the metal strings made them more and more anxious as they could see even Skwisgaar had difficulties keeping up his usual speeds.

Maybe sleep was needed.

"Maybe we practice laters when you ams less tireds?"

"Nej, Toki. You and William slack too muchs and I amnst tireds. I amns pissed you amnst doing praktises. Both of you. Agains."

Not even one full bar later and William's Thunderbird had a string snap. All three of them stopped, but Toki and William froze as Skwisgaar's shoulders tensed and he took in a deep breath.

This was how his tirades started.

"... I needs you to leave de booth before I exkplodes."

"But what about Toki? Is he...."

"Moidaface, do you wants me to shove mine boot downs your throat?"

"Why are you scho pisschy? It's not like I could schtop a schtring from breaking."

"Gets. Out. NOW." Both scrambled to unplug their respective instruments but Skiwsgaar shot an arm out to stop Toki.

"Nots you. Vi behöver prata."

"But -!" William took a step as if in protest towards Skwisgaar, who gave him an icy glare. He had dark bags under his eyes, and the bassist finally took on good look at the lead guitarist since they all got together to play their parts - he was looking thin, and his hair was greasy by the scalp as if he hadn't taken a proper wash in a while, and his clothes were rumpled.

For a man who took great lengths to perfect his image, he looked rather unkempt at best. Maybe the all-nighter had been several as he was prone to doing during recording crunches.

"Fix your string, Moidaface, den comes back."

Toki saw how quickly his friend crumpled under the icy glare and quickly dove out, before Skwisgaar turned his attention to him. Shit.

"Do you know why I still try with you two fools?" Toki heard Skwisgaar's perfectly clear Norwegian, slow and deliberate is if he was struggling to place words together.

It wasn't his first language and he only used it with Toki, so he understood that his speech pattern sometimes felt too formal or even too stiff. He suffered the same when he tried his Swedish but it still made him feel bad that Skwisgaar had to swap to Norsk - he only did it if he thought Toki wouldn't understand him.

"Because we are part of the band?"

"Because I believe, like an idiot, that you two will show me the amazing talent that placed you here in the first place." Skwisgaar leaned in, mere centimeters away from Toki's face. He swallowed, unsure if his heart was hammering because of the closeness, the backhanded compliment, or because he knew Skwisgaar was trying to not tear him into pieces.

"I am hurt each time you two idiots walk in and pretend I didn't spend the last 5 days stuck in here working on all our parts."

"Then go sleep."

"Are you even listening to me?" Toki placed his head down, in shame. Skwisgaar was trying to not be angry for once - for once, he realized, he trying a different approach because he was tired. Physically he looked like if he took a seat he would sleep the rest of the day, but mentally too; how many times had he exploded on them both only for them to cower away and then still do the same thing?

Toki, taking into account the almost defeated approach Skwisgaar had taken, decided to try and meet him half way.

"I ... I understand. But you realize that neither one of us will ever meet your impossible expectations, right?"

"I do it because I believe both of you can do it. Maybe I'm the stupid idiot for believing still."

William decided to come in at this point - he approached Toki with an urgency to assist him with setting the string up and tuning it. Thankful for the break and rescue from the rather awkward conversation, Toki dipped out of sight and gave a small shake smile - William and Toki both hated arguing with Skwisgaar.

Both tried to please him. Both hated him.

The Swede took his leave to fiddle with the dials and sliders to fine tune their sounds and have a presentable recording for Nathan, leaving the two in the booth to try and re-string the bass. By the time they both got the Thunderbird tuned and ready to go, Skwisgaar had crashed on the producer's chair, finally giving them a reprieve from the blonde.

"You knows maybes we take de time to doodle on Skwisgaar's face?"

"Not a bad idea, Toki. I wasch thinking - !"

The talkback mic crackled to life, and Toki and William both gave a small shout in fear; Skwisgaar had rolled over in the producer's chair and hit something with his foot. Both clung on to each other before separating slowly - Skwisgaar always raised their stress and anxiety and they never shied away from each when it came to dealing with Skwisgaar's tantrums. Still, William and Toki's only common ground in the booth was their shared 'hatred' for Skwisgaar - who they both seemed to also want to impress.

"... fuckings hell. Amns gonna have reals heart attack."

"I'm doing a dick on hisch prett - dildo face. That was scary as fuck."

"Me toos - oh, and cat whiskers!"
