You had recently been working on a series and becoming friends with other cast members was a part of the whole process. You always had a tendency to grow close with fellow cast members on most if not all the films you worked on.

You had recently became friends with a girl named Mackenzie, she was a background character in the show and wasn't on set for long but you made conversation one time in between takes and she pushed the friendship forward. You didn't think much of it so you just let it happen.

She'd always ask you to hangout and if you weren't busy you would say yes, you felt like it would be rude to say because she was your friend. One time she asked to come over to your apartment and you said yes but made sure to tell her that Bella would also be there, she didn't exactly seem happy about that which did seem weird but you blew it off and tried to not make a big deal of it.

That was the first day that Bella and Mackenzie met. To put it nicely, Mackenzie was an absolute bitch to Bella and they had no idea why. Whenever you weren't around Mackenzie would make a mean comment or ignore any questions Bella asked. It was very clear she didn't like Bella.

Bella didn't care about that though what Bella did care about was how she acted with you. She would always sit so close to you she was practically in your lap and she'd always reach out to touch you whether that was simply brushing her hand against yours or putting her arm around you it didn't matter but what pissed Bella off the most was how she looked at you.

You and Bella weren't silent about your relationship so there was a slim chance that Mackenzie didn't know about you two. It made Bella mad, Mackenzie was trying to make a move on her girlfriend. Now Bella wouldn't have thought much about this had it been one of your other friends, but you had only known Mackenzie for 3 weeks.

You two were definitely not close enough for her to act that way in a friendly manner not to mention you talking to Bella about how you never realy clicked with Mackenzie but also felt rude for breaking off the friendship so soon.

The week went on and Mackenzie was pushing her luck, to the point where you even began to notice but what really set Bella off was when you, her, another one of your castmates and Mackenzie were all getting lunch and Mackenzie put her hand on your thigh. Bella's blood was practically boiling and it took everything in them to not drag you out of the restaurant. You of course removed Mackenzie's hand and told her that made you uncomfortable which was only met with an eye roll from her.

The drive home was silent (the only exception being the music that was playing on your phone) it wasn't an uncomfortable one it's just that neither of you anything to say. Bella had somewhat calmed down and you were just staring out the window.

After arriving home you got changed into some more comfortable clothes and sat on your shared bed scrolling through social media. Bella walked into the room and over to you, she took your phone out of your hands and switched off placing in on the bed next to you before leaning down to kiss you.

You placed your arms around their neck as they crawled onto the bed with you. You were the one to break the kiss. "what was that for?" you giggled but instead of an answer you were met with another kiss. This one was more hungry, it shared all the built up anger and emotions Bella had been feeling about the whole situation. Your hands went up to Bella's hair as you deepened the kiss.

Bella was the one to break it this time (much to your dismay) , they immediately started kissing along your jaw and down the side of your neck where they stopped for a moment. It wasn't long though and soon they went to work. Sucking and kissing all along your neck and collar bone only moving onto the next spot when she was sure it would leave a mark which was in turn leaving you an absolute flustered mess.

Bella was proud of their work and had finally stopped, they went in for another kiss but this one was more tender and soft.

You were theirs, they were yours and Bella would make sure that the entire world knew that.

“college will be different”

starting college was a fresh start for mackenzie , one that she needed . growing up as the quiet grungy girl with messy eyeliner and outlandish style didn’t get her very high on the popularity chain . what it did get her was fans , and an amazing musical taste . in high school she preformed gigs in downtown Boston , her peers from Revere didn’t manage to find her in the dirty bars downtown so she was able to blow off the steam by screaming into a mic and ripping the guitar to a crowd . slowly , she grew an instagram following of 100k , then followed the stares of people in high school , then the names . “yo that’s the famous chick” “yo can u shout me out” “who even is she ? is she new?” . anybody else would probably get an ego from this but god did she hate it . thank god college would be different.

the journey to boston was one she knew like the back of her hand , getting to college alone however … this was not something she preplanned . with her guitar on her back , along with her backpack filled to the brim , getting onto a train was quite literally impossible, the busy carriage filled with sweaty bodies and anxious freshmen is enough to give anybody a headache . so mac did what any sane person would do ? blast deftones full blast .

with her music ,the journey was quick , and in what felt like seconds she found her way infront of saint auburn itself . it’s only until she sees the large sign it hits her . she made it . the summer heat in the train carriage made her brown locks stick to the sweat on her neck . so after taking off the leather jacket , and folding it over her arm , she takes the large claw clip from her bag and twists the messy strands together , fastening it away from her face . her slight heeled boots click against the pavement as she makes her way through her new home , passing the people playing live music down the hallway , or the kids making out against the elevator.

“excuse me?” she says quietly , looking towards the blonde boy with his tongue down another shorter boys throat , gripping his neck as he leans against the metal doors . she gets no answer , the loud strums of guitars and muffled bass from the classrooms near drown out her voice . she purses her lips and turns on her heels , looking around the busy hallway for a second elevator , or possibly some stairs , not wanting to get into an awkward interaction with the two behind her .

she finds no other way up to her dorm , so she turns back around , swallowing her pride and accepting that she was going to have to have a conversation with them .

turning around she was met with just the blonde boy looking at her . she blinked a few times at the surprise , noticing his sharp cheekbones and jawline , his fluffy bleached hair falling over his blue eyes . “can i help you?” his voice was emotionless , a stark difference to his face displaying a very openly annoyed expression.

“sorry, i’m just trying to get to the elevator….” she replies , nodding to the elevator behind him . his eyebrows furrow and he double looked behind him ,realising what she’s talking about . “oh fuck my bad dude , i thought u were just being a weirdo i didn’t even notice sorry!” his face lights up as he talks , kindness literally bleeding from his words , mac can’t help but smile as he defends himself and rambles ….. still not moving ….. “shit sorry ! yeah” he continues, pressing the button and getting into the elevator gesturing her to follow .

“thanks” she says as she makes it in the cold metal box , sending him a tight lipped smile and adjusting the guitar and bag on her back . “sorry about that , i got carried away . do u play ?” the blonde boy asks , pointing towards said guitar . “uh yeah i play bass , do you ?” the girl replies pressing the button for her floor .

“uh yeah i do , we’ll not bass but i dabble” he shrugs his shoulders , smiling at him own words . “i’m nick by the way” he continues .

“mac , or mackenzie”

“nice to meet u mac” nick replies as the elevator door opens .

SO Zuko is Link level trans to me.I want to get my transmasc version out first,he was an early egg cracker and Ozai is a sexist ass so he was happy to have a son instead of a daughter and Ursa was happy to have a son because Zuko was happy to BE her son.Zuko's transition happened no hassle thanks to being a prince giving him easy resources and he has top surgery scars and his voice is like That because of T and voice training to sound 'intimidating' and he identifies as dragongender since he says 'he's a guy in the way a dragon is'.There's a Zunia moment where Zuko is feeling dysphoric and Nia says he's never known him as anything but a guy and Zuko snarks that they met after he realized he is one and Nia points out they actually met when he was still just figuring it out and insisting he was a guy in the way he talked about himself and that he'd just rolled with it while everybody else dismissed it as him being a tomboy.Cue 10+ gender euphoria for Zuko

Kathea Lore 2:

Their 2nd “meeting” (1st being in therapy and vvv ugly) is when Kate and Aaron mutually break up after her return from the psych ward and his return from Thanksgiving (see dtyfstf); although the fic wouldn’t start there, that is the moment that created this spin-off ship/fic/project/AU.

Having heard how much shit the Foxes are going through, Thea flies in to check in on Kevin who has ghosted her (thus breaking her promise again of no-contact but way, way worse).

In a scene reminiscent of Andreil’s first meeting, Kate and Thea literally run into each other when Kate exits Aaron’s dorm so fast she slams door 317 into Thea and falls into her.

Because Kate is crying so hard and because Thea does not want their therapy group to get on her back any more than they already are, Thea puts her Kevin mission on hold and takes Kate back with her (idk where yet… hotel room? Bar? Diner? Cab?) to “support” her therapy mate.

Thea is the more surprised of the two at her decision to take Kate under her wing (u know like a raven).

Kate starts to believe Thea is not as bad/mean as she projects in group therapy.

Thea doesn’t understand why she went out of her way like that, why she acted so out of character, so she proceeds to /gently/ but firmly kick Kate out, call her an Uber, and the next time they see each other, weeks later, in group, Thea is cold and distant.

That's the main scene to be written at the moment, the thing that’ll start me up and show me the golden path of Kathea.

Miscellaneous thoughts:

To me they're like if a nymph (Katelyn) and a goddess (Thea) fell in love.

While it causes no real impact on Kate’s career (cheer + med) to be queer, Thea’s pro Exy career is highly at risk, what with already being an ex-Raven and a Black woman in a mixed sport; it’s important to me that we’re all aware of that; and thus despite both women being each other’s first sapphic/queer relationship, they have widely different backgrounds and stakes at play in committing (or not) to this new love.

Katelyn doesn’t want to see Thea as a threat, for herself, Aaron and the Vixens/Foxes, but sometimes the way Thea handles her past and present is scary, and Kate doesn’t know if Thea is trustworthy with everything (and Riko) going on; those who have read ‘dance ‘til you find someone to die for’ know why trust and betrayal are big issues in the Katheaverse.

However, Thea doesn’t know anything about the vastness of Riko's evils; her main tormentor has always been Tetsuji Moriyama. 

Riko acted the way all male Ravens (except Jean and Kevin) have always treated her: with misogyny and bigotry. Riko wasn’t special, not with her, not to her; but she doesn’t realize yet the Ravens were a cult, that it wasn’t normal, that she has repressed some things and that what is hurting her inside is also hurting others, whether fellow ex-Ravens like Jean and Kevin, or outsiders like Kate and Aaron who become collateral damage wave after wave Riko creates.
