How Would I Do….An Official DickKory Wedding Had I been in Charge if DC Comics
To clarify, the following proposal takes place within my version of a reboot for DC Comics Mainline books and continuity, as per my pinned post.
To catch everyone up to speed to when this will take place:
Two Event comics would’ve by now took place (Dawn of Fire and War of the Supervillians)
In between said events, Titans Leader Nightwing aka Dick Grayson would’ve had his secret identity discovered by a crime boss in Bludhaven with a massive grudge and used against him, more or less ruining his life and leaving the black and blue clad alter-ego wanted by the state Bludhaven is within with a massive bounty for a crime he didn’t commit (Clipped Wings and it’s subsequent Batfamily crossover Blue Hawk Down)
At the same time, the rest of the Titans would be attending to a crisis in space no doubt Tamaran related which leaves Starfire aka Princess Koriand’r emotionally shook to her core, and the B team of the Titans split with Red Arrow aka Roy Harper forming his own splinter anti hero team called Arsenal Inc. this combined with other unfortunate events to an entire half of the Titans leaves Wally West and Tempest aka Garth with no other options but to travel through time and ask for help from….themselves, their young Teen Titans selves, to which the Fab Five agree to and they travel forward in time and resolve to stay in this new future until things are set right. (See here)
Before the events of War of the Supervillains, Dick and Kory, now more or less in temporary retirement, are able to meet up with one another and share their experiences and interpersonal matters between them. Sure both are emotionally exhausted and burnout by recent events in their lives but they go through their issues together and strive to stay together, whether it be at Haly’s Circus once again traveling across the country or Kory taking a residence at Key West, Florida.
Once War of the Supervillains wraps up and status quos are reinstated especially for the Titans, Dick and Kory’s relationship is now stronger than ever before, thus leaving a pathway to their marriage wide open. Thus in this post, we shall cross it.
(Read more Below the Cut)
For a bit if Meta context , both Dick and Kory would have solo books in addition to Justice Titans at the very start of the reboot, released around the same time. So about around the 74th issue, what I had in mind was that the wedding would be a Seven Part Storyline with the following books in order:
An Alpha Issue (The Issue to which Dick, with a subplot in his solo book up to here would be finding a perfect ring for Kory once they approach the altar, and Kory finalize their plans for the wedding, their place, their minister/priest and all they talk of all the implications that can come from such)
Then Starfire #74 (We see her perspective of the big day fast approaching while the sub plot can deal with her further reconciliation with her sister Empress Komand’r aka Blackfire and as of this point in her solo book, her attempts to reconnect with her younger brother Ryand’r aka Wildfire starting to bear fruit; both siblings are given their perspectives of this wedding)
Then Nightwing #74 (On the flip side we see Dick’s perspective as he finally moves back to Bludhaven after Bruce Wayne and senator Janet Drake are finally able to lift the Wanted Bounty off Nightwing and find him innocent of all charges. We see the reactions of his fellow Haly’s Circus crew members and friends within the city of his upcoming wedding and their words they can give to the Boy Wonder)
Then comes the triple whammy of…
Justice Titans #74 (The main A team; other members besides Nightwing and Starfire are Cyborg, Beast Boy, Raven and a resurrected and fully heroic Terra)
Titans #74 (The B team; consisting of Troia, Red Arrow, Tempest, Wally West Flash, Omen, Herald and Bumblebee)
And Teen Titans (The time displaced Fab Five of Robin I, Wonder Girl I, Aqualad I, Speedy I and Kid Flash Wally) #14;
These three take place on the Wedding Day itself but with a twist. They’ll fend off multiple supervillain attacks orchestrated by Benito ‘Boss’ Zucco (son of Anthony ‘Boss Zucco; see here) so that Dick and Kory can have their wedding in peace*. All the while each issue focuses on a particular character in their book and their perspective on the events unfolding. For example, Robin!Dick would be the one giving his thoughts about his future self’s wedding in Teen Titans.
Then finally a double-sized Omrga Issue (in which via a ceremony that combines Tamaranean and Human customs, I.e. the rings and the “You May Kiss the Bride”, Dick and Kory FINALLY are wedded together in harmonious matrimony. We follow that up with the reception attended by Batfamily members, the Titans, the Justice League, Komand’r with her royal court and even the time displaced Titans, allowing both present!Dick and Past!Dick to meet face to face. This issue and the storyline end with Dick and Kory beginning their journey across the galaxy for their Honeymoon)
Within the Post-Wedding aftermath, I’d combine the Nightwing and Starfire solo books into one.
Now it’ll be called ‘Nightwing & Starfire: The Flying Graysons’, starting with issue #75
Side Notes:
*This follows a a similar plot point within the Wedding of Reed Richards and Sue Storm aka Mr Fantastic and The Invisible Woman in the pages of Fantastic Four
At the wedding itself, yes indeed Tim Drake, despite being technically older than the standard age ranged can be the ring bearer for Dick and Kory, out of wanting to take some part for his big brother
Please, reply and especially reblog to share your thoughts about this idea, that’ll be very appreciated

Some fun stuff happened for this week. The community did its best to rally around poor Nick Jackson. Unfortunately, that wasn't enough to get him over the 50% smash mark. However, he received the sixth most votes out of all the polls so far. He just also received the second most pass votes out of all the polls (second only to Vince McMahon back in week 2). Meanwhile, Matt received the ninth most total votes, but he came in at 59.2% smash.
The apple fell pretty far from the tree for nepo baby Charlie Dempsey. For those who aren't aware, he's William Regal's son. William Regal's vote was 65.6% smash, while Charlie Dempsey's result was 22.1% smash. Maybe he'll grow up and get more smashable over time. These polls do seem to trend toward Sexualizing That Old Man. Someday I'm gonna use this data to make some charts, and one of them is gonna be wrestler age vs smash rating.
And now for some of my favorite tags and comments
@angelkitty32001 on Mox: #i would run through walls for twink era mox
@beefyandbloody on Matt Jackson: #he's got nice hair and tits and puppy eyes i am smashing Gently because he looks like a sensitive young man

@daphne-minor on Nick Jackson: I bet all y’all pass people regret your vote now that Nick looks like an Italian porn gangster who sells counterfeit LSD at playgrounds
@cheapheat on Marko Stunt: #not very attractive to me unfortunately also the youth pastor thing seals it#I hope they canonize killswitch eating him though
@pavlovean on Jey Uso: #i love jey uso with all of my heart#but less like an object of romantic or sexual affection and more like a pathetic sopping wet kitten i found on the streets#nevertheless i would smash if given the chance
Honorable mention to EVERYONE who reblogged Nick Jackson and did their best to rally others to their cause.

Timeline of KH Dark Road
So the whole time I was watching the finale of Dark Road, I was keeping track of when all of the “X years later/ago” scenes took place, both in relation to the main story and in relation to the rest of the KH saga. Since Xehanort’s conversation with MoM is specifically identified by Remind as being 75 years before KH3, I decided to use that as the base point.
So without further ado, here’s a timeline of Dark Road’s major scenes:
85 years before KH3: Epilogue scene of baby Xehanort on Destiny Islands with Player
78 years before KH3: Xehanort leaves Destiny Islands
77 years before KH3: KH3 Xehaqus chess scene
76 years before KH3: Main Dark Road story
75 years before KH3: Xehanort goes on his first world tour post-Dark Road and meets the Master of Masters
74 years before KH3: Xehanort returns from his first world tour
72 years before KH3: Xehanort goes on a second world tour to prepare for the Mark of Master exam (the 4 years later scenes)
70 years before KH3: Xehanort and Eraqus become Keyblade Masters. Eraqus is bequeathed Master’s Defender while Xehanort is given No Name.
69 years before KH3: An unknown crisis occurs in Scala that makes Xehanort desperate enough to try and summon Kingdom Hearts (his fight with Eraqus in the trailers)
21 years before KH3: Xehanort and Eraqus argue over Xehanort’s plans to start another Keyblade War, ending when Xehanort scars Eraqus’ face (as seen in BBS flashbacks)
12 years before KH3: Xehanort finds Ventus in the Keyblade Graveyard and takes him as an apprentice
11 years before KH3: Xehanort brings Ventus to the Land of Departure. BBS happens a few months later.
Some quick observations about the timeline of events:
In his conversation with MoM, Xehanort indicates that his training is nearly finished and the Mark of Mastery exam is coming up soon. But according to this timeframe, he didn’t become a master until 5 years after the conversation. Then I remembered that after failing the exam in BBS, Eraqus tells Terra that “there’s always next time”. Indicating that another Mark of Mastery will be held at a later date and Terra can retake it then. So there are two possible reasons for this discrepancy between the game’s stated timeline and what Young Xehanort says to the Master. Either something happened that caused Odin to delay the exam, or both Eraqus and Xehanort failed and they had to wait a few years before he would allow them to retake it.
The time of when Xehanort found Ventus means that Ven was only living in the Land of Departure for a few months before the start of Birth by Sleep, even though the prologue on Destiny Islands where Sora healed Ven’s heart happened when Sora was still a baby. Since Dark Road emphasized again that time moves at different speeds on different worlds, this means that while 4 years passed on Destiny Islands, only a few months passed in the Land of Departure.

A Noted Absence (Destiny Islands, KHDR, and Timeline Stuff)
TLDR version : some KHDR lines have me extremely interested in the state of Destiny Islands both when Xehanort arrives as a kid, and when he leaves, and it's likely we won't get answers. And that is, in a way, the way it should be.
Full discussion under a break because this is Long, Rambly, and image-heavy.
Section One: The Kid Who Left For Good
Tumblr media
Riku mentions this in Birth By Sleep, in Terra's story.
This is Xehanort, we know he is talking about Xehanort. Someone told him about Xehanort, and told him that Xehanort 'left'.
Whoever told him about it also referred to Xehanort as a 'kid', apparently, or at the very least gave context clues that had Riku come to that conclusion.
So people... Knew Xehanort, or knew of him. Saw him at least, anyway.
Dialogue in the initial segments of KHDR implies similarly, that at some point or another he did talk with people other than Player/Blue Robes:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I think the musing about the issue possibly being with how he engages with others gives the impression he probably at one point did Know people, even if only in passing, at one point prior to Scala. No matter how brief.
Section Two : "But we're the only ones here." : Worlds, Their Nature, and a Timeline.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
There are those who may say this is a retcon.
... I do not think it's that simple, and even if you're to assume it was, I think it is worth noting that there's an extremely easy way to make these two statements congruent with each other... more than that, there are actually two, one simpler, one less so. Additionally, if it is a retcon, it's a shoddy one, considering that Xehanort in Dark Road still talks about having known people prior to going to Scala... anyway, back on topic.
In this same cutscene, this is said :
Tumblr media
Blue Robes/Player specifically uses the phrasing, 'This Island'. So, the play island, specifically. My random aside for the day is that Xehanort then proceeds to say this:
Tumblr media
Beyond even this, there is knowledge we gain very early on into Dark Road about the process in which worlds form, in which it seems that the structures and material of the world exists first, even without people, and then people start... well, existing.
With that in mind, you could easily argue that people didn't exist point blank on the Destiny Islands outside of Xehanort and Blue Robes / Player until a date after the "Child of Destiny" dialogue here.
All of this being said, the fact still remains : at this point in time, and in the years prior to this scene, Xehanort and Blue Robes / Player were the only people who ever had set foot on the play island.
Whether you say that the main island did in fact have people living on it, or you say that the entirety of this world was devoid of humans outside of Blue Robes and Xehanort, the fact remains that in this time, they lived alone here in the wooden shack next to the waterfall (the one you get fresh water from for the raft expedition from in KH1).
The overall impression I end up having is a timeline along these lines:
Blue Robes/Player takes on the task of raising Xehanort, taking him from Scala Ad Caelum to the Play Island on Destiny Islands.
Blue Robes and Xehanort live on the Play Island for many years alone.
Blue Robes/Player dies of old age, leaving Xehanort to live alone there.
People just around here and then start appearing on the main island, or otherwise start going to the play island when for years nobody went there. (You could possibly argue this as happening before Blue Robes' death, as well.)
Xehanort disappears without a trace or elaboration, as is canon. The distance between this events (Blue Robes' death, Xehanort's departure) is unclear.
This story was important to somebody, or at the very least interesting enough that it was told and then eventually told to Riku, ~74+ years after it happened. More importantly, whoever told this story assumed that he left, instead of the other more obvious options (an accident happening, him dying... a number of other options, all quite bleak.).
So... who told that to Riku? Or rather, who would be the people talking about it still?
Riku in KH1 is 15, and in BBS he's like... five. No matter how old you think Riku's parents are, or what you think of them, it not... super likely that it's his parents who talked about something like that, unless it's something their parents talked about.
So yeah, my best guess is Riku or one of Riku's friends grandparents talked about this at some point. Best I can tell. Whether they were the people who saw or talked to Xehanort, it is unclear. With how vague it is, it may be a further link than even that.
Section Three : Conclusions
"But wait... does any of this actually matter?" To me, it does.
By virtue of the way that stories work, what we know, and who we know is dictated by the protagonist and who their friends know in turn; who is 'relevant' in their stories.
At the same time, that limitation of view results in a very specific sort of melancholy in a story like Kingdom Hearts, which is all about connections, and this abstracted vision of someone who knew and cared enough about Xehanort's absence to still be talking about it almost a century after it happened, and believe that he left, and did not simply die and fade.
It is a story in itself, but one we will never know about... that knowledge of absence was not reciprocated, outside of vague wisps of a story (he knew people before, he may have had acquaintances before, but never names. there never will be names.).
...Xehanort did not care to know them, so we, the audience, will never know them in turn. If that's not thematic to the feelings of alienation and distance in lots of the kh games, and the initial beats and feelings/concerns in Riku's story in Reverse:Rebirth, I'm not sure what is.
Also, it's just neat, and I think conceptually, some random person seeing a 14 year old Xehanort living alone on an island is... Really Something, conceptually.

Antarctic Iceberg on the Move On January 22, 2023, the British Antarctic Survey reported that a new iceberg had broken from Antarctica’s Brunt Ice Shelf. In the days following the long-awaited break, satellites have captured several new images of the behemoth berg as it drifts south. Two days after the iceberg first broke off, NASA’s Terra satellite acquired a wide view of the region, which analysts at the U.S. National Ice Center (USNIC) used to confirm the break. Later, on January 25, 2023, the Operational Land Imager (OLI) on Landsat 8 acquired these detailed views. The first image shows the iceberg drifting in the Weddell Sea. The berg, which USNIC named Iceberg A-81, measured about 1550 square kilometers (600 square miles)—about twice the area covered by New York City. The main berg is surrounded by smaller icebergs, sea ice, and a composite mix of ice types covered in snow called mélange. The second image, also acquired January 25 with OLI on Landsat 8, shows a detailed view of the smaller keystone-shaped iceberg between A-81 and the new front of the Brunt Ice Shelf. This is the part of the shelf where a rift, which has been growing in spurts since at least the 1970s, finally spanned the entire shelf and broke the floating glacial ice apart. In the rift’s final advance, it reached a complex part of the ice shelf and bifurcated, cutting out the keystone-shaped iceberg. It measures just several kilometers—tiny compared to A-81, which measures 52 kilometers on its longest axis. According to Christopher Shuman, a University of Maryland, Baltimore County, glaciologist based at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, satellite images indicate that the front of the Brunt Ice Shelf is now more than 20 kilometers back from its position in early 1973. The British Antarctic Survey’s (BAS) Halley Research Station, which was relocated farther inland in 2016, is now about 15 kilometers from the new front of the ice shelf. BAS reported that the station was unaffected by the recent break. At the time of these images, Iceberg A-81 and other pieces of ice were drifting southward with the clockwise motion of the Weddell Gyre, although it remains to be seen where they will go from here. A previous berg that broke from the ice shelf in February 2021 (Iceberg A-74) followed the gyre. Its pieces now drift more than 500 kilometers away from Brunt near the Ronne-Filchner Ice Shelf.
Tumblr media
Mas a fotossíntese tem HISTÓRIA! Quem descobriu a fotossíntese?
Bem, a autoria é controversa.
2 H₂A +CO₂ → CH₂O + H₂O + 2A

prompting night: uhhhh Jaime finding out about some of Scarab's stranger hobbies (reading AITA on Reddit? hacking the Wayne tech slack? murderbot style telenovela obsession? up to you)
Jaime looked over at Tye, Asami, Paco, and Brenda snickering.
"What are you guys snickering at?"
"Jaime, look at this!" Tye pulled out his phone, showing the Reddit AITA page.
"My brother formed a club, and I thought I could support it by working with some friends and colleagues to set up some successes for them behind the scenes without their knowledge. He found out and is mad. AITA?"
"Sounds like what you told us about the Anti-Light, right?" Paco said with a grin.
"You've got to show your teammates this."
"Huh. It looks like there's also some other ones..." Jaime scrolled through, seeing usernames that while not the same looked suspiciously similar. They also looked to all be posting various scenarios that sounded suspiciously like Team ones.
"From K4gee- Hold on. Khaji Da, did you post these?"
[[Yes.]]
Jaime's friends paused, eyes wide.
"Why?"
[[<You> have asked that <I> be considerate of teammates. To help understand their behavior and reactions, <I> created these dummy accounts and posted actions that caused disunity without supplying any identifying information.]]
"Is... is your scarab shading your team?" Tye squeaked out.
Jaime nodded, trying to keep a straight face.
Everyone burst out laughing.
"Please show your teammates," Asami said between peals of laughter.
"Wait, I'll let Ed know to get a camera out when you do," Tye said as he bent over.
"Oh mio dios, yes. Khaji Da, this is the best."

prompting night: let Khaji Da hack more phones
"Okay, but where did you get that information from?" Jaime looked off to the side, wondering if he should regret encouraging Khaji Da to pay more attention to social relationships and dynamics. Then again, apparently Bart had encouraged that well enough after the prophecy/Green Beetle fiasco.
<I hacked the Wonder Girl's phone.>
"Hermano, you can't just go around hacking people's phones!"
<If information is gathered in advance, it can be used to prevent issues.>
"Right, but we have to keep our teammate's trust by not invading their privacy."
<The Nightwing hacks phones.>
"What?"
<The Nightwing has hacked the phones of many teammates before leaving the Team, and one of his new recruit's phones. Why am I not allowed to?>
Jaime frowned. Nightwing was hanging out... kind of, now that Geoforce, Terra, Forager, and Halo joined the Team.
"Okay, you can't hack anyone's phones... except Nightwing's. He's got to learn the value of privacy as well."
<Excellent! I shall make sure to inform you of any relevant details.>
And that was how Jaime found out about the Anti-Light and Terra's mole status.

I am always here to give Windy bad fic prompts. Considering my post about Uncle Dudley beating up Uncle Ebeneezer took off last week. (YJ) Billy is walking down town with Uncle Dudley chatting away when he suddenly goes quiet and hides behind a corner, Dudley H. Dudley asks his foster son what is wrong and Billy has to explain who that skinny old man that just walked by actually is.
"- and I know it's just an internship, but being at WHIZ is so cool! I get to help with stories, and I'm even given a small section to do for other kids once a week." Billy grinned, skipping down the street. Luckily the lack of crowd made that easy enough to do. "I'm even paid!"
"That's great Billy! But it's not taking up too much time?" Dudley said, eyes scanning over the store fronts and the old man walking down before turning to Billy.
"No, I can't work more than sixteen hours a we-" Billy paled, and then ducked into a nearby alley.
The skinny old man from earlier walked past, muttering about money and people who were so ungrateful. Only when the man passed did Billy come out from the alley and turn to Dudley.
Billy had fought legends and monsters without a flinch. Sure, the courage of Achilles probably came in handy, but that didn't change the fact Billy never hid for no reason.
"Son, who was he?"
A wash of feelings stole over Billy's face. He looked down at his shoes. "Uncle Ebeneezer."
Crouching down a little despite his old knees, Dudley tried to look Billy in the eyes. "Who?"
"He took me in after my parents died, and threw me out once he had the money."
Dudley nodded, but noticed the way Billy made himself small at the memories. "And?"
"And he treated me badly, so I was happy to go. But I have you now so it's alright, okay?"
Knowing better than to push, Dudley nodded. Still, if Billy noticed he was getting an extra nice ice cream sundae that day, he didn't mention it.

Idea: A Superman movie, but from the perspective of Lois Lane.
Hard hitting reporter Lois Lane, who’s young but has been in the industry enough to be a bit jaded, is going around and doing stories on corruption and politics and investigating everything to hold people accountable. She sees people with power use and abuse it every day, and people clawing for power so they can use and abuse it. There are stories of miraculous saves, but they’re mostly rumors and unconfirmed at this point. Besides, she’s showing the new guy the ropes.
Until Lois starts interviewing a woman who barely avoided a death sentence. The woman, a high school drop out who worked as a cleaner, was innocent but in the wrong enough place to get pinned with the crime. Apparently some man in a red cape burst into the DA’s office and insisted that he stop this woman from getting the death sentence due to her innocence, and provided evidence.
Lois digs into it, but there’s no possibility for an ulterior motive. This woman doesn’t have connections or anything. She has no connection to the person who burst in. So Lois in typical Lois fashion goes a searching.
There isn’t really a pattern to the miraculous saves, or the Superman sightings.
(Nobody is beneath Superman’s notice. Nobody is beneath his aid.)
When Lois mentions it, the new cub reporter suggests that maybe this guy just likes to help. And the evidence agrees. He’ll fix a kid’s broken bicycle and do a deep dive into crime. He’s even gone after Intergang’s tangled web. So Lois is forced to ask: Is it possible that someone can be as good as they are powerful?
So since she has a lot of work done on the tangled web of corruption, and crime, she decided to go for an interview with Superman and to ask for his help with taking down some of the greatest threats strangling Metropolis.
But along the way, she’s starting to notice that the quiet cub Kansas reporter also has a habit of helping people out, and it really is quite charming...

My #1 post of 2022
whenever you do a prompt night I always want to send you a prompt for fun but I can only ever think of 'bad prompts', so I usually don't send anything to you. I decided that I would try one today anyway. It is going to be a 'bad prompt' so don't worry about ignoring it. this was the best 'bad prompt' I could thing of: The first time 13 yr old Jason Todd met 11 yr old Billy Batson and the first time Captain Marvel met The Red Hood
A/N: ...If this is a 'bad' prompt then I wonder what you consider a good one.
Billy sighed, kicking his feet. He was grateful, really! Even now that he was adopted by Dudley, healthcare was still an issue in Fawcett so being allowed to use the League's state of the art care for a checkup was something he was glad Superman suggested. He wished that more kids could have this, but, well, apparently the purple healing ray was hard to replicate and needed FDA approval anyway.
He sighed, feeling out of sorts as he always did when he was in a League base as Billy. Everything seemed so much larger.
"Do they have magazines?"
Billy looked to his right at the new Robin. "Not really? Most Leaguers don't really think to bring their own, and what would you bring for them anyway?"
The new Robin shrugged. "I dunno, probably not Highlights. Maybe Forbes? That's an adult magazine. I mean, one adults read, not a dirty one."
Billy raised an eyebrow at that. The old Robin wouldn't have talked about that sort of thing.
Robin squirmed. "I mean. You know. Maybe a literary magazine? I think the short stories in those are pretty cool. The New Yorker has a nice literary section."
"Huh. That would be cool. Maybe I could ask J'onn about that? He likes learning about Earth stuff, and I think he handles supplies."
"Uh, yeah. Hey, do you like to read?"
"Yeah, though I'm a bigger radio fan. I've been getting into podcasts- they remind me of those old fashioned radio serials. It's so cool, because it lets you picture the events like a book but with voice acting.
"Huh, I'll have to give those a try. By the way, what's your name?"
"Billy. Yours?"
"J-Robin. I'm Robin."
*Seven Years Later*
Gotham's wind blew the smell of waste over the buildings. Captain Marvel stayed in the air, firm.
It really said something that Batman had been so open to letting him try this.
Gunshots rang out. Captain Marvel flew over, and exhaled. It seemed that it was just a normal robbery, with henchmen too small for the infamous Red Hood to kill.
(Billy hoped that Jason remembered why his own father had been a criminal. That crime could be caused by desperation as much as malice.)
The robbers fled with scattered motion and wide eyes. Red Hood stood up and turned to face Captain Marvel.
"Gotta say, I'm surprised. There's no word of any Fawcett villains here."
"Surprised I came to see an old friend? I heard you were back and wanted to see."
"Going to follow up with a lecture?"
"I get the feeling you wouldn't listen to one."
Red Hood put away his guns. "No. I won't. I know I'm right."
"Would the street kid that loved literary magazines and being Robin have agreed?"
Tilting his mask up, Red Hood snorted. "That boy died and his murderer is still out there."
"Then who am I talking to?"
"A ghost." He flicked a flash bang towards the ground, and not even the speed of mercury could have gotten him to close his eyes before it went off. When Captain Marvel blinked them open, Red Hood was gone.
