Successfully rolling out Salesforce Lightning
With launch of Lightning Experience in 2015, Salesforce came up with the assurance of improved workflow, better productivity, and reduced pipeline management time. Eventually, it turned out to be a game-changer for the entire industry. Adoption of Lightning revolutionized the businesses with its incomparable user experience and development capabilities. That’s why the migration towards Lightning has kept on increasing exponentially over the past some time. To enable complete transformation; Salesforce is targeting to give a full stop to Classic at the earliest possible.

While a lot of the companies have already migrated or are in the process of migration towards Lightning, a few are still struggling to initiate and carry this move in their organization. The main reasons for this are adoption strategy, system compatibility, and comfort of the new users. We can address these issues with a fitting plan and implementation strategy as below:
1. Prepare Lightning Experience Readiness Report: This gives a Bird’s eye view of where the company stands in terms of Lightning Experience and thus helps to plan the transition smoothly. It also includes instruction on which users are most prepared to test the new interface and which features are ready for rundown in Lightning experience as is.
2. Create a pilot group of users: As per requirement businesses can decide on whether they want to move users in batches or all at once. Accordingly, they can choose a pilot user group for each profile to test the interface and get feedback on which functionalities need to be modified at what stage.
3. Train the pilot users: As they get started, guide them through their queries and help them resolve their issues quickly.
4. Note down feedback from pilot users: Record their feedback on what issues they faced and what needs attention.
5. Prioritize the issues: Focus maximum efforts on resolving the issues pointed out by pilot users and readiness report.
6. Roll-out Lightning across all users: Once all the issues have been resolved for that particular profile, everyone else in that profile can be granted access to Salesforce Lightning.
7. Repeat for other profiles: Follow the same for all the profiles working up towards the most complex level.
8. Keep monitoring: Even after going live it is required to keep a watch on any potential issues and prepare the contingency plans.
9. Communicate: From the planning stage itself the employees should be made aware of the benefits of Lightning over Classic through internal marketing like- sharing training manuals, conducting webinars, facilitating certifications, etc. This will also encourage quick adoption of Lightning in the organization.

Lightning Experience for all Users
One key highlight would be the enhancement and improvement of the Lightning Experience. The Lightning Experience allows you to create a user experience that improves workflow and productivity, and in turn, makes processes more intuitive and transforms your business. With the Lightning Experience made available to everyone, it’s no surprise that the Winter ‘20 release will provide a host of new features that are designed to accelerate easy adoption of this feature.
The Winter ‘20 bundle includes new tools that make the transition to Lightning even easier while enhancing several features we are already familiar with.

Lightning Access to Recycle Bin
For users who were waiting to get this much-needed update, your prayers have been answered. If you’ve been apprehensive about switching to the Lightning Experience because you had to switch back to Classic to access the Recycle Bin your life just got easier. With this latest release users don’t need to switch back to classic just to undelete a record.
New Mobile App
Now get your mobile users working with Salesforce. The new mobile app not only reduces training time but also presents the familiar Desktop Lighting Experience on mobiles. The Salesforce Mobile App QuickStart gives you a glimpse of the new features available, lets you access the tools needed to optimize your Lightning pages and also provides your users access to the software.
Printable Views for Lists
Now, you won’t need to print your entire screen just to have a hard copy of your lists. The Printable Views feature will allow you to keep your hard copies simple by getting a list of and storing only the information you require. Click on the Printable View button and generate a condensed view of your lists and other related lists.
Count Unique Values in Report
Another new feature adding to enhanced function ability in reporting is counting unique values within your reports. This age-old Salesforce problem, that limited you while counting the number of accounts with multiple opportunities, finally has a solution. Just select “Show Unique Count” to count the number of different values within any particular column.
Start a Flow on Schedule
Flow is getting more and more powerful with every release. This amazing tool has the ability to solve complex business issues. Now you can schedule an auto-launched flow, and not just run it from record interactions, to start on a set date, time and frequency. Run Flows on a Schedule and monitors them easily with the latest release.

Enabling Digital Transformation In Telecom Industry
OVERVIEW
Our client is a leading provider of broadband services in Europe and serves more than one-third of households in its territory. They focus on delivering scalable, products and solutions to a customer base that is at the center of technology transformation. Their customers require inter-city as well as intra-city data center to data center connectivity at a very high speed scaling up to 1000mbps. So they need to strategize their processes in such a way that their operations become highly responsive. At the same time due to the fiercely competitive market, they need to keep their operating costs low.
CHALLENGE
Having realized the changing industry scenario they understood that digital transformation was inevitable for healthy survival. However, there were a few challenges that needed to be overcome to achieve their goal of digitization.
Engineering: The processes were not well established and had multiple loopholes. There was no visibility at multiple nodes in the process chain and thus they were unable to provide a good customer service.
Organizational Change: Digital transformation meant change in technology and processes across the organization, and there is always a resistance to change as the employees face difficulty to adapt to the new technological landscape initially.
Inefficient resource utilization: A huge portion of employees’ time was being spent on admin, paperwork, handling separate tools and hence the time spent on doing actual sales or innovative work was less.
Long pipelines: Due to lack of visibility across the chain and engagement of most of the resources in unproductive tasks their operations had reduced efficiency and responsiveness to customer demands and complaints, resulting in long pipelines of customer requests and complaints to be addressed.
Customer retention: As the customers were not receiving perceived value for money, they started switching towards competitors in their quest to find a better service provider. Therefore it was becoming difficult to retain customer base and market share.
SOLUTION
We committed a strong team to the project right from the go. After a rigorous envisioning and discovery phase, Teqfocus technical architect team enabled all parties to visualize the full end-to-end solution and we put a project plan together that delivered impactful KPI’s on a progressive basis.
The solution was crafted to support their Sales, Service Cloud and Pardot, providing consultation, multi-cloud solution development, and seamless support.
Our tech-architects collaborated with the business to ensure that the solution removed key pain points for the organization and took advantage of the capabilities included with Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud licenses.
We designed a unique dashboard in their sales cloud, containing information entered at every stage which would be visible and accessible to multiple users as per their requirements.
We determined the Integration and security approach for the existing marketing automation and data warehouse solutions.
We designed tools to look after the enhanced Sales Pipeline and Opportunity management process, including contract management.
We fabricated a complaints and compensation management solution utilizing Service Cloud Email to Case and SLA management functionality.
We jointly worked with the client’s architecture council, security and privacy teams to ensure compliance of our tailor-made solution to their organizational policies and guidelines.
RESULT
360-Degree View & Enhanced Processes: Their team around the globe is seamlessly utilizing the multi-cloud solution which increased their productivity.
Enhanced Adaptation to new technology: Over 200 front-line employees are using Salesforce to support and sell to customers.
Improved Communication: Better sales information entry improved communication across the teams and hence the visibility across the process. This immediately brought the spotlight on any loopholes or issues being faced at any stage.
Better customer service: The complexity of customer complaint and request management system reduced, which enabled them to concentrate better on resolving customer requests and grievances and clear the pipelines through improved automation.
Continuously Expanding Accounts: Their Sales has gone high and they have been able to connect more than 1200 building on their network.
