The election held due to the nomination of six members: the date of March 23 for the Rajya Sabha elections was fixed. However, due to the nominations of six candidates, the election was not successful and all the members were declared uncontested on the last day of nominations. After accepting the certificate, all the members thanked the party and party chief for the election during the interaction with the reporters. Chief Minister congratulated NDA members: While accepting the certificate, Chief Minister Nitesh Kumar congratulated NDA members in his office room in the Assembly. During this time, several leaders including Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi, Minister Rajiv Ranjan alias Lalan Singh, BJP MLA Arun Sinha, Sanjeev Chaurasia, JDU's Sanjay Gandhi were present.
