Askfvjddk YES you may... he is very well loved. I've had to fix him up a few times so I don't really cuddle w him a ton anymore but he's good for a hug when you need one

THANK you so much! And thank you everyone else for your warm wishes, it was rly emotional to see the support n excitement fhjksdf I'm still very excited! I'm doing well, very groggy and slow start to recovery, happy to be back home in my own bed. Taking it as easy as I can - but overall I think I am managing things well :) still doesnt feel quite real but I'm sure it will sink in soon enough haha

I've always liked the idea that, after Luke and Kat suck total ass at fencing Emmy decides to teach them martial arts instead so they can still defend themselves. Luke and Kat feel much more like the brawlers of the family lol

ASdkhjasd YES!! YES exactly my thought process. I think at the end of the day Alfendi prefers his gun to a sword but he was quite good at fencing and enjoys sparring with Flora. And Flora took to it right away and really enjoyed how much it was a mental sport, not just a physical one. Plus it's a great way to socialize and meet other people, helps ease some of her social awkwardness when she's still getting used to living away from St. Mystere BUT LUKE AND KATRIELLE...... most certainly the brawlers. They like things to feel a little more tactile. And boy does Emmy want to have some pals to throw around like hacky sacks (affectionate) I think while Luke really likes finally having the physical strength to back up his desire to protect others (and it makes him feel Cool) Katrielle treats it more like a fun sport that has useful applications to real life.... but only as a last resort. If she can avoid having to physically fight someone she will - but can use the element of surprise to her advantage. Luke is also a terrible sparring partner for her because he has reservations about throwing "baby Kat" around. Katrielle on the other hand was born ready to obliterate Luke at a moments notice for a laugh

haha im not sure if I'm the same person or not! this layton blog was started in... May 2017 apparently (wow. so. a few months shy of 7 years old, jeez fdksjfs) but my personal art blog @tjandersonart has been up since March 2014... Apparently! (so. 10 years old. AGAIN. WOW sdjfhkdsjfhsdf TIME) and i did post some now-deleted layton art there at some point... but I honestly couldn't tell you when anymore, i think those drawings are lost to time

regardless!! always makes me happy to see people circle back around to layton and see whats new in the fandom : ) !! i hope yr having a wonderful day

LITERALLY!!!!! I wasn't watching it and then people started messaging me and my housemate because they know I am mentally unwell over layton - and then my housemate played it on our tv and i LITERALLY fell to the floor and started screaming "WHAT? WHAT? WHAT??" I am not exaggerating when I say I JUST spent an hour and a half screaming, slapping the floor, pacing, yelling in joy, having my housemate play the preview over and over again on the tv like some cocomelon shit.... I literally broke my glasses in my excitement you have no idea how insane I feel IM SO HAPPY!!!!! AAAA!!!!!

New Layton game!!! How we feeling!!!!! (Also If Layton Can come back I open Yokai watch Can too..)

NEW LAYTON GAAMMMEEE!!!! LETS GOOOOOOO!!!! I am feeling CRAZY!!!! SO CRAZY!!!! fdjkhfd - I honestly, never even considered getting my hopes up for this. I had heard rumours of level 5 reopening offices in the west, and was tentatively happy that they might release more HD versions of previous titles in english... or alternatively resigned that the next game released would feature Katrielle. Which I would absolutely still play, but it's not Really what I wanted from the series, yknow? So a game featuring Layton as the main character again?? AND Luke is confirmed to be in it??? AND it seems to really take from the original style while breathing new life into it without totally changing the fundamentals that make layton so laytonesque!!??? I literally don't know what to do with myself!!! Thinking of getting to see the locations and the characters and the music and struggle through brand new puzzles!! fkdshjfd just have to sit and wait for more info!!! DONT know how I'm going to handle it It's so exciting hearing layton news and just seeing the EXPLOSION of people coming back and singing praises for the series. I know I am particularly obsessive and pretty one track minded for my love of the series, and I get why others lose interest and move on to other things - but it is so so nice seeing how many people adore it and come rushing back at the chance to see Layton again... the amount of people I haven't talked to in good while suddenly signing on to send a message and make sure I heard the good news! Ahhh I'm all emotional about it honestly haha; I hope it comes out soon but not TOO soon so I can like, give my poor heart a rest so I don't actually explode skdjhfsdfsdf and I really hope they dont spoil too much when they Do release more info or trailers about the game! hey I really like your art!! I was wondering, do you have a favorite and least favorite npc from any of the games?

ohh tough question! I had to sit and think a little - but I'm gonna have to say Crow from LS wins as favourite NPC. I think I've dedicated the most time to thinking about and characterizing him and I was just overall very charmed the concept of him and the Black Ravens. My favourite grade school delinquent <3

as for least favourite I feel like I don't have as definite an answer... other than the obvious despicable Bill Hawks gfkjgg - maybe like Rosetta or Belle from (UF)..? Clarence (LS)? characters who come off as being really creepy towards the main cast djfkhsdf
