I was looking up quotes by Team Rocket executive Ariana and found this gem as one of the random conversations you can have in Pokémon Masters.

"I'm letting Archer take the number-two spot in Team Rocket right now, but I haven't given up. One day, I'll take that spot next to Giovanni! There would be no greater joy than working for Giovanni as his highest-ranking executive!" If spoken to again "Team Rocket's ideals are Giovanni's ideals. Girl... I mean... she's not okay with being the number 2 lackey, but she's acting more okay with it than I imagine a woman in her position would be. There's being #2 because Giovanni's known and worked with the #1 guy longer and has more confidence in him, and then there's being the mother of Giovanni's child and still being #2.

I feel like she should angrier about it.

(And on her being Silver's mother, she was given a name and a unique design in the same set of games that revealed Silver is Giovanni's son. They have the same hair color and similar hair styles. She's the only female executive. There are no other candidates for Silver's mother. IT'S A REVEAL THAT'S BEEN STARING US IN THE FACE SINCE GEN IV AND GAMEFREAK WON'T COME OUT AND SAY IT)
