Another titan of the game industry, George “The Fat Man” Sanger, joins us live at MAGWest! George has done so much to shape the course of game audio in America that the best we can hope for is scratching the surface with this post. During his career he’s worked on numerous games, alongside his legendary group of cowboy composers under the moniker “Team Fat” which consisted of himself, Dave…
I truly adore George “The Fat Man” Sanger, and both he and Team Fat tend to get overlooked in many people’s minds when it comes to the history of game audio/music. Doesn’t hurt that he and his associates are all hilarious.
Definitely worth stalking every used book store that I could find, on- and offline, until I managed to snag a paperback of Tasty Morsels of Sonic Goodness: The Fat Man on Game Audio long before its reissue, too.
Decided to remaster the finale from my Guzma WG drive. Hoping this communicates a little better than the OG one...
The improvement from october to now is kinda insane. I had only just started on my journey to improve my shading when I posted the original, and now I'm not as scared of adding shadows as I used to be :) Note to artists: the shading assist in CSP is crap.
Alt with a slight 5 o'clock shadow on Guzma will be on my website along with this drawing cause its not really a big enough change to warrant posting it on here.
i really fucking wish folks would draw the hermits the way they look irl more often instead of drawing them as skinny, young people/characters
DRAW EVERYONE'S UNIQUE FACE SHAPES
DRAW FAT/CHUBBY CREATORS AS FAT/CHUBBY.
DRAW SCAR WITH HIS MOBILITY AIDS
DRAW THE WOMEN. JUST GENERALLY PLEASE
give these grown ass men their facial hair and five o'clock shadows i fucking BEG OF YOU. i just think it's a bit silly when we have such a diverse group of people on a server; different ages, nationalities, body types, facial features, etc and a large majority of art is all skinny young people like who is this??? not my hermits nuh uh
