Binding Safety

Hello, I saw a post a few posts on here of people talking about what they use to bind and how they bind and some of them were quite unsafe. So I thought I might write up a post about how to remain safe while binding.

Never under any circumstance use Ace Bandages or Tape. Ace bandages will constrict when you breathe in and for obvious reasons, tape vs skin is never a good idea.

IF IT HURTS, TAKE IT OFF. It’s your body screaming help me, you can do serious danger to yourself if you try and tough out the pain.

Take breaks, don’t bind for more than eight hours for sure. You need to let yourself breath and such. This includes never sleeping in a binder!

DO NOT DOUBLE BIND. This is incredibly unsafe please don’t do it!

These are my top four tips, of course, I’ll post more as things progress but at this time these are what I consider to be the most important.

I know gender dysphoria is a bitch but please don’t use unsafe methods of binding. It will result in even more pain and internal damage!
