Honestly most times people are normal and i dont particularly feel like my autism affects my interactions with people but sometimes everyone will laugh at the expense of me not understanding the joke or getting the memo and its just sad

Like i had a great experience once when a person joked about something and i genuenly did not understand and they just kept repeating it the same way every time i asked and honestly it haunts me to this day like why the fuck would you be so rude when someone is genuenly confused

#the amount of times i need to ask people to specify what they mean is embarrassing #but at least most of my circle is ok with explaining shit to me #sometimes you just find a person you considers the but to be more important #and like #what the actual fuck #idk i still haven’t technically got my diagnosis #but ill try to again in a couple of months #the gp has a years long waiting list #the main reason i need to go is to hopefully get some help with crippling anxiety and depression #but getting a certified autism stamp would honestly at least explain a lot of shit im going though #and also let me have some accomodations in exams so yeah #idk #i was determined it wouldnt change anything if i knew #but now im tired #tbf i might not even get it considering this shit unironically costs my full salary rn #so fucked up #and at gp i need to persuade them that i need an evaluation #and i fucking hate talking to people on the phone #honestly making the appointment is like my greatest fucking problem with all of rhis #i would rather die than phone them and try to explain my struggles
