3. what were your top five books of the year? ooh okay. well according to my storygraph rankings it's probably something like this (not in order!) - tress of the emerald sea by brandon sanderson - last night at the telegraph club by malinda lo - the ballad of songbirds and snakes by suzanne collins - sea of tranquility by emily st. john mandel - the long way to a small, angry planet by becky chambers 22. what's the longest book you read? the longest book i read this year was crooked kingdom by leigh bardugo at 546 pages!

last song I listened to: i don't actually listen to music much but while cleaning yesterday i had the spotify playlist that's just "everything i've ever liked" on and "de l'autre côté de la rue" by Edith Piaf came on, thank you high school me

currently reading: A Desolation Called Peace. I've been stuck in it for four months - it's not bad! i don't hate it! but i don't like it either.

currently watching: i'm even worse at tv than at music :(

currently obsessed with: trying to fix a story that i love and also fear may be unfixable. i've rewritten the opening five times & changed a bunch of concepts - it's not full on ship of theseus in there, but i've fiddled with so much. i haven't lost my passion for it, but i don't think i can get it on page. also house-hunting.

currently reading: concerning the eccentricities of cardinal pirelli (dont know what to think of it yet. only just started); story of o (classic that i've been meaning to read for ages); and technically also rogue planet bc i just forgot about that for a sec so i still need to finish it

currently watching: supernatural (ofc); house (kinda. whenever i manage to catch an episode on tv); and the terror which i rlly need to finally get on with bc im only on episode 3

current obsession: still star wars. its starting to get weird atp. its been nearly 4 full months of me caring about that without a break, which is v unusual for me.
