Bug forgot to do another intro. are we surprised? no. no we arent. but here is the long overdue intro for padma. i ended up picking her up right before a hiatus so i didnt get time to do anything for her! but shes here and ready to be the resident party pooper!

{ cis woman , she/her , 22 , tara sutaria } during the trial of voldemort’s last major conspirators, padma patil was spotted. they work as a apprentice alchemist at the apothecary. rumor has it they are practical + curious, but i’ve heard they’re humorless + unwavering. during the battle of hogwarts they fought for the order. when i think of them, i’m reminded of stained hands from hastily preparing potions, cinnamon on her breathe with a touch of cigarette smoke, stacks of unused journals.

the twins are oh so similar, but so vastly different at the same time. while her sister is big on crystals and horoscopes, padma things thats a pot of shit, but sits there with her alchemy sets as if its any different. to her, its a proved science so that makes it better.

that girl who doesnt realize how pretty she is trope? thats padma. girl only dresses nice for fancy occasions, otherwise shes always in just a t-shirt and jeans. and even then thats if she cares if people look at her. otherwise its just sweatpants.

padma has always had a gift for potions. she has excelled at the subject since she first stepped foot into hogwarts and thinks of nothing else in her life than working with natural elements to create remedies and concoctions.

padma is very much the submissive twin to her sister. shes quiet, usually waiting for parvati to take the lead. it was like that all of her childhood. she assumed she would naturally follow with her sister in the same house, but nothing can explain the panic she felt when they were not put into the same house.

without her sister around, padma is very much a wallflower and barely speaking due to social anxiety. this leads her to come off as cold or rude when in reality, shes just very nervous.

she completely opens up around parvati, though. while she is still the more serious twin, to get padma to smile and joke around, putting parvati in front of her will definitely do the trick.

unfortunately, padma had picked up smoking cigarettes in her teen years in order to curb her anxiety and there is no use to get her to quit.
