3/15/18 - ...This is Still a Cagelocke Blog???

....Returning now to the namesake of this blog after a just over two year absence, progress has been made!

In an attempt to get back into the swing of things and level the two most recent additions to the team a bit, we challenged the gym trainers, then headed back out into Route 14 for a bit of training. The game, apparently fed up with my inactivity, then decided to infect my team with pokerus, speeding things up somewhat. - Charlie > lvl 57 - Sarah > lvl 57 - Lucky > lvl 59 - Sylvia > lvl 51 - Ruth > lvl 39 - Alpha > lvl 36

Now feeling a bit more prepared, both for the gym battle and the inevitable cage match following it, we dipped back into Laverre Gym and challenged Valerie: - Leading with Sylvia, we set up an Aqua Ring, and our level advantage became rather apparent as she took out Valerie’s Mawile with little challenge. - Sylvia then milked a couple of hyper potions out of Valerie against her Mr. Mime, before getting worn down enough by Psychic to swap out and let Lucky show off his fancy mega evolution and get rid of Mr. Mime with Flamethrower, also getting another level for Lucky. - Sarah was swapped in against Sylveon, and after laying down a Stun Spore, finished things off with a couple Petal Dances.

A gym badge in hand, and with a cute friend having already received hers, a cage match should be coming soon... assuming we don’t get distracted and wait another couple years....

Sylvia: Siempre quise tener una hija. Para ponerle vestidos bonitos, peinarla, pintarle las uñas, maquillarla.
