" Master blue?"

Blue looked down at Migi, the little one had healed quite well sense they had picked him and Kallah up.

" yes Meegs?"

" The clones won't let me have a snack."

Blue snorted, " well yeah we need to watch how much we eat we don't need to run out of food. And last time I checked they had names."

Migi blinked, seemingly unprepared for that answer.

" but my master said that they were just meat droids-"

" No. No we do NOT use those terms in this ship am I clear?"

Blue struggled to control his temper, how dare they say that about them, about him? It wasn't a surprise but for once he was able to be angry, he bristled as Migi pondered what to say next.

" why? They're built for the war like the droids."

" the difference between us- Them! Between them is that they're human, they have emotions, talents, personalities all under the same face. Your old master was wrong to say that."

Migi looked at his feet, blue continued, " it's unfair to treat them differently than you would me. What If I decided because you, Paulo, myself and kallah are nat borns we have to do the dishes every night."

" that's not fair."

" well it's not fair to do it to them Migi. Does Kallah say this too?"

" no. She likes the clones, she loved to play tag with our old commander."

Blue gave a nod, relieved that he didn't have to give the same talk to her. He tilted his head.

" who was your old commander?"

" Commander Tye, he had the yellow blue and green armor.

" no way you were with the battalion with those crazy patterns on their armor?! No way I always thought they were the coolest!"

Migi beamed, blue smiled and looked away, he had met tye and it had not gone well. Infact the swirly blue received was not worth the meeting, he shuddered involuntarily.

" Tye was super nice! He used to say Kallah was the best at throwing grenades." Migi faltered, " then he killed our masters..."

" I'm sorry Meegs." Blue scooped him up and leaned back in his chair, " I... I know how it feels."

" did your master die?"

" she did."

" did the clones do it?"

". . . No. Not my brothers."

" why do you call them brothers?"

" we're brothers in arms! Uh... I've known them for years and they're my best friends . I don't know what I'd do without them." Blue almost grimmaced.

" well I think that's weird."

" well you can do dishes tonight sir."

Migi squeaked out in indignation and wiggled to the floor, he sprinted out of the room. Blue shook his head, he'd have to train those thoughts out of them.
