A/n I’m tired and there’s probably a bunch of mistakes but I don’t care lol- I just need more found family stuff- this is the first time I’ve posted anything like this so yeah! Please tell me if there’s any mistakes or stuff I’m not to familiar with tumblr so I don’t know how to make it look nice :P

Whitebeard pirates

Like imagine being the youngest in a crew; you call white beard ‘gramps’ instead of pops. And he constantly dotes on you and tells you stories of his past adventures

Depending on how old you are (10-13), he encourages you to explore, isn’t offended if you want to travel the world someday on your own, and doesn’t want you to feel pressured by the white beard name. Probably tells you lots of stories and gets his sons to help teach you how to sail and learn different things to see what you are interested in.

* (14-16) if you decide to sail on your own, he’s happy and supportive! You’ll probably find that someone from the crew isn’t *too* far behind you, though, always making sure you are safe and out of trouble. If you decide to stay with a white beard, it’s a fight between the division commanders to see who gets you in their troop!

* Father figures Marco and thatch-

* Thatch is always trying to one-up Marco and teach you cooking, while Marco wants to introduce you to medicine-

* Extensive cuddle sessions cause you fall asleep????

* Big brother! Ace who is over the moon with having a little sibling, telling you stories about him when he was younger and his brothers

* Brother! Ace is always helping you with pranks and Shenanigans

* And don’t even get me started on the boys protecting you if need be-

* I can imagine white beard having you stay on the ship in case of a battle, but if it’s like a thing where you're on an island and suddenly get swamped by marines, I can imagine

* Ace is coming to rescue you while Marco checks you over for injuries

* Just feeling so protected by your found family and thatch carry’s you back to the ship on his shoulders

* I can see this going a few different ways- so I’m going to do it based on characters rather than scenarios-

* Luffy was used to being the youngest sibling- but being older than you and your captain ignited a special spark in him

* Will goof off- but safely? If that makes sense??

* Like walking on the railing of the sunny but his arms are around your waist to make sure you don’t fall-

* Sneaking into the kitchen to get snacks and he goes first, so if Sanji and Nami set up a trap, he gets stuck instead of you-

* Will make sure your hold on him is secure before he slingshots ya’ll anywhere

* Also!!! Special hat privileges???

* Seeing you in his hat reminds him of when shanks gave the hat to him when he was a kid- and he understands why shanks gave him the hat kind of?

* Feels like he’s passing on the torch :)

* Zoro is the protective level headed older sibling

* Not afraid to tattle to Nami if he catches you stealing from the pantry-

* Definitely a tough-love kind of brother-

* But when ya’ll are in town or on an island, he lets you hold his hand and guide him (even if you probably get him just as lost as he would have gotten you-)

* Makes sure you know how to take care of yourself in a fight if he isn’t there to protect you, which is RARE-

* Fights with shitty cook over who’s the best big brother-

* I feel like Sanji, Nami, and robin will make all kind of act similarly to a crew member who they see as a little sibling

* Taking you to the local village and trusting you to run around and buy things without supervision

* Making your favorite meals

* Easing up on your chores around the castle

* Small but meaningful things like that

* Being the youngest on the red-haired pirate's ship is like having a bunch of cool uncles who act way too stupid for their age-

* You’re probably the most mature person on the ship despite your age, thanks to benn single-handedly making sure you didn’t turn out like your captain.

* Tbh Benn probably didn’t let shanks interact with you much till he was SURE you wouldn’t imprint on him as some other rubber child has done in the past

* He doesn’t want you to try and stab your eye out.

* Shanks himself is probably the worst when it comes to teasing, be it your height, age, inexperience- literally anything- but he definitely is the person to go to if you need a place to hide/vent

* He knows how to comfort people, so he can tell when you need him in a silly mood or a serious mood. He tries to be more attentive, learning from his past mistakes with other children

* His cape is a 10/10 hiding spot if needed

We all called for the President last week. Where was he, days after the apocalyptic Maui wildfires?

Actually, we knew where he was: On the beach at his shore home in Delaware. Prepping for his next vacation in Lake Tahoe. Issuing a reptilian ‘no comment’ when asked about the thousand-plus people missing and the Pompeii-like damage and what his plan was.

When was he going to visit?

For what it’s worth, I wrote an impassioned column imploring the president to go.

Now I take it all back. The people of Maui have suffered enough.

Joe Biden finally saw fit to interrupt his second vacation since the wildfires, to don his well-worn mantle as Empathizer-in-Chief, put his feet on the ground in Hawaii and comfort the survivors, 13 days after the fires.

It did not go well.

‘F**k you!’ was the prevailing greeting to his motorcade. Residents held unwelcoming signs: ‘It’s too late’. ‘Actions speak louder than words’.

Right they are.

‘I don’t want to compare difficulties,’ he said. Spoiler alert: He compared difficulties.

Once upon a time, he and Jill had suffered a kitchen fire while he was off doing a glamorous TV spot on ‘Meet the Press’. He almost lost his classic Corvette! Parked at his waterfront house!

Would the people of Maui, living through the agonies of entire families burned to ashes in their homes, of a 14-year-old boy’s body discovered alone and clutching his dead dog, care to hear those details?

‘It was a sunny Sunday,’ Biden said — oh my God, is there no one in this White House who can keep this president on-message? — ‘and lightning struck at home on a little lake that’s outside of our home — not a lake, a big pond — and hit a wire and came up underneath our home into our heating ducts, the air conditioning ducts.

‘To make a long story short, I almost lost my wife, my ’67 Corvette, and my cat. But all kidding aside’ — there’s a joke in here? — ‘I watched the firefighters, the way they responded… they ran into flames to save my wife and save my family… sometimes smoke is so thick… it was that thick inside the home.’

Not so, said the firefighters who responded. The Biden kitchen fire, according to the Cranston Heights Fire Company, was ‘insignificant’ and put out in just 20 minutes.

But hey — Joe Biden never lets facts get in the way of a good story. And no one’s suffering can ever compare to his own.

His speech to the people of Maui was disgusting. It was all about him. Note this line: 'I give you my word, as a Biden.'

As a Biden? How about as President of the United States?

He had such a low bar to clear: Get on the ground, shake hands and offer hugs, look survivors in the eye and listen to their stories, and offer a clear plan of action.

All he had to do was deliver a brief, locked-and-loaded speech and cede the stage to local heroes — take a page from George W. Bush’s promise on the World Trade Center pile after 9/11.

But he can’t do it. Joe Biden is fundamentally, constitutionally incapable of allowing others their grief. He literally claimed that he had ‘a similar experience’ to the Maui survivors.

‘By the way,’ he continued, ‘for 36 years I was listed as the poorest man in Congress, so I didn’t get there based on my income.’

Can you believe that was part of his speech to the survivors? How is it germane? Remotely relevant? Does Biden really want to invoke his family’s suspicious riches?

To quote Barack Obama: ‘Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to f**k things up.’

Biden went on to perseverate over the loss of his first wife and infant daughter in a car crash — a tragedy he blamed on the other driver, who Biden infamously falsely accused of being drunk.

‘So, I have a little bit of sense of what it’s like.’

No, Mr. President, you do not.

It was the same when he met with Gold Star families whose loved ones died in his botched Afghanistan withdrawal, repeatedly invoking his late son Beau, who he often claims died in Iraq. (Beau died of a brain tumor.)

It was the same when he was caught checking his watch every single time one of those 13 flag-draped caskets were loaded off military planes at Dover.

‘The most disrespectful thing I’ve ever seen,’ said Darin Hoover, father of fallen Marine Staff Sgt. Taylor Hoover. ‘They would release the salute and he looked down at his watch on every last one. All 13, he looked down at his watch.’

So now I know: Joe Biden should have stayed away from Maui. He should have sent thoughts and prayers and far more than a $700 check to each surviving family. He should have begged Barack Obama or another esteemed Hawaiian to go.

The Rock would have done better. Jason Momoa. Hell, anyone but tone-deaf, crusty old Joe.

Looking at a canine rescue and recovery dog with protective paw gear, Biden ‘joked’ to the press: ‘You guys catch the boots out here? That’s some hot ground, man.’

Ugh, that ‘man’. Joe’s such a cool cat, don’t you know, just one of us. Amtrak Joe. Watch out: He might beat you up in the parking lot after fourth period. Remember ‘CornPop’? The gang leader with a razor blade at the community pool back in 1962? The 'bad dude' Joe Biden beat back with a 6ft-long chain?

He should have stayed away from Maui. He should have sent thoughts and prayers and far more than a $700 check to each surviving family. How about that climate crisis, Mr. President?

Speaking of — please, for the love of all that is sacred, stay away from Palm Springs and Los Angeles and any future disaster areas in general. The American people don’t need to see their doddering, likely demented president wandering away from a podium, mouth slack and eyes vacant, needing to be guided, as we witnessed on Monday.

This sad showing is a microcosm of the Biden presidency: No one’s at the wheel. The whole world can see it. Is this who the Dems really want to prop up in 2024?

And where’s Jill Biden in all of this? Most wives would gently take their husband by the hand and say: ‘Time’s up. You did your best, but it’s time to leave.’

Most wives would want to protect what’s left of their husband’s dignity. Legacy.

Not so for the Bidens, now safely ensconced in an $18 million vacation home, out of sight.

President Joe Biden compounded his disastrous trip to Hawaii in the wake of devastating wildfires with yet another gaffe, blatantly ignoring a Democrat senator before gormlessly shuffling off at the end of an uninspiring speech yesterday.

The 80-year-old had a particularly awkward moment with Democratic Hawaii Sen. Brian Schatz when, at the conclusion of a press conference, Schatz offered him a sip of water.

Biden completely blanked the senator and turned his back on him. He then began shuffling off, mouth hanging open and gazing listlessly into the crowd, while his wife Jill and Hawaii Governor Josh Green ushered him away from the lectern.

Furious Hawaiians had already greeted the President with ire, shouting 'f*** you' at his motorcade and brandishing signs telling him to go home as the 80-year-old and his wife toured the island of Maui 13 days after the inferno broke out.

The awkward scene came shortly after Biden had delivered a meandering, tone-deaf speech in which he compared the wildfires - which have killed at least 114 people and left 850 missing - to his experience of a small kitchen fire.

As their motorcade drove through Maui, several people lined the streets waving Trump 2024 flags and shouting obscenities at the passing cars.

One person brandished a sign contrasting the money spent on Ukraine with the assistance sent to Hawaii - calculating that each Ukrainian has received over $1,700 since the war broke out in February 2022.

Meanwhile, the White House announced that each affected household in Hawaii will receive $700 - a sum many islanders considered insulting.

Locals' fury mounted on Sunday when Biden, who was asked about the fires as he relaxed on a Delaware beach, simply replied: 'No comment.' 🤡

And last week, he appeared to forget the name of Maui, repeatedly referring to fires blazing on 'the Big Island'.

One Piece Chapter 1081 [Spoilers] Reminder-Law has cheated Death and Lost his home: Thrice!

I knew it was coming; I was hoping for a miracle. But this is the finale, we are going to lose more people! The stakes are high, our final contenders to One Piece are moving closer to their goal! But as Trafalgar Law fan, I was not ready to see him lose!

Paulo Coelho had warned me, Everything that happens once can never happen again. But everything that happens twice will surely happen a third time, yet I was not ready!

True, “The weak don’t get to choose how they die”! And Bepo made sure that Law didn’t get to die today. Bepo bet his life and went on to challenge Blackbeard! I respect him and again it set’s another example how each and every first mate has been loyal and that’s how they saved their captains! Zoro on Thriller Bark, Killer on Elbaf, and Bepo on Winner Island! A captain will survive when it’s crew will sacrifice itself!

Law will hate this; he has the captain’s burden to bare, pride of his crew on his shoulders and honour of the dead to carry! And yes, weak as he may be right now, he really didn’t get to choose his death. Trafalgar D Water Law will not die today, but for now he has been eliminated like Kid from the final race to One Piece.

Law lost his home! For the third time! His island and family are gone, Corazon and foster Doffy family is gone. His crew and ship was a family and home he built over 13 years! A ship which was a gift to him from a friend. He lost it all!

Losing a ship means you have been defeated and your spine cracked! What’s a pirate without a ship? After Merry Go and Thousand Sunny, Polar Tang was my favourite ship. I loved it for it’s cool design, utility, and absolutely fun colour. Law has a career ending blow, but he will survive.

Law will survive, he will be depressed again, he will hate himself again, but he will come back, he might not get the opportunity to avenge his crew the way he will want too! But he will survive, and he will get his answers to the questions he carries!

There is a purpose he has to serve, and my fears for his future is worse. That devil fruit he carries; it definitely offers something more than eternal youth. If it can cure an incurable disease like Amber Lead Syndrome, that means it can cure other things too. And a certain someone has already lost twenty years to a drug when he tried to save his brother.

I just can’t help but notice how Law has cheated Death thrice! If Law was a cat; he would have six more lives to spend! And out of which their is a high possibility the last life might get spent on saving the only D that matters in this universe. But for now that’s a thought I hope doesn’t come to fruition!

Why am I so sympathetic to Law but not Kid?

I think why my reaction to Kid getting pulverised and Law getting butchered are so different, is because it’s very simple!

Rule of familiarity.

We have known Shanks since day one of One Piece! Shanks has always been the reliable guy and Kid was introduced to us as being reckless killer. Blackbeard too has been the bad guy since his introduction while we as readers have spent a decade with Law!

I am more invested in Law! I have seen his struggles, ups and downs and what he is capable off!

With Kid it has always been a distanced and tinted pov. Shakky introduced him to Strawhat as a worst generation who killed people to have higher bounty than Luffy. Then when three of them met, Kid picked fight with Law and Lu!

It was fun watching Kid get beaten up by Shanks! But obviously with Law it was different emotions; because we know him better!

Let it be a reminder!

Defeating Blackbeard and Shanks is not going to be easy! Kaido was the trial round for Luffy, and it took him 5 battles! And the biggest issue with Luffy’s future opponents Blackboard and Shanks is not the difference of power but the difference of planning. Luffy though he has matured a bit; is still a punch first talk later boy. As for Blackbeard and Shanks, they have been playing chess of survival for all these years!

Kaido, Big Mom, Doffy, or anyone Luffy has fought previously has always underestimated him; until Charlotte Katkuri! Luffy is an Emperor of the Sea! Neither Blackbeard or Shanks will give him the half-hearted treatment of toying with a rookie!

Yes Lu is a God, but still a rookie! And next two opponents are people who don’t always rely on strength but brains all the time! They both have planned and plotted to reach this far! It will not be easy!

I think chapter 1081 establishes the final journey to One Piece for Luffy has begun.

I just finished reading it, and I've also decided to catalog all of the thoughts I have about each book right after I read them. I'm gonna do it all in this post, one reblog at a time.

Here we go.

The Dragonet Prophecy:

I really like Clay's flat arc. The fact that, in the first book, the first thing we learn about him and the last thing we learn about him is the same piece of information twice, just framed under a different context will drive me insane for the rest of my life.

Seriously, there are 13 fucking books left for me to read, I cannot be getting so hung up over a single detail in book number one(1).

I wanted to see Tsunami beat up more dragons, but alas. From what I can glean, the second book will focus more on her. So maybe I'll get my wish after all.

Welp. Starflight's a double agent now. And I get the feeling that they're going to get a lot of mileage out of that when it comes to internal conflict. It's a pity that I didn't find him too interesting in this one, but I'll just have to assume they're saving all of that for a bit later in the series. We're still only in the world-building phase, after all.

Sunny's cute. Wish she was given more time to shine.

Same with Glory. But at least she got to kill someone.

It really seems like they were banking on the hopes that they would be able to publish a lot of books and would have plenty of time to flesh out the five dragonets later. Fortunately, like I said, there are 13 books left. And that's just the main series.

Hoping to see everyone get plenty of chances to shine. (Please please please tell me that they do. Please don't let this age poorly.)

The only name I knew going into this was Scarlet, who I've heard is just an absolute monster throughout the series. Excited to see how much more they can make me hate her.

Jesus fucking Christ that dude just fucking killed himself by hugging Peril. That shit was brutal.

Anyway, I really like Peril. Once again, wanted to see a lot more of her.

I also like the obvious parallels already being drawn between Peril and Clay. They were both introduced as having killed/tried to kill their sibling when they hatched. And then within the same book, both of those things were proven to be untrue.

It's pretty obvious they're setting up a ship between them, but it's a damn cute ship, so that's fine by me.

I really really like that the four of them keep consistently reminding Glory that they think she's pretty, as well as constantly reassuring her that they don't think she's lazy or stupid. Love me some siblings being collectively supportive of their extremely self-deprecating sister. I think she's shaping up to be my favorite of the five. With Tsunami being a close second. Make no mistake: I love them all.

Also, Tsunami coming from the Seawing Queen's hatchery is the funniest shit ever. She spends the whole book making jokes like "Maybe I'm the lost Seawing Princess or something Xp" and then right at the end Kestrel's just like "Yeah, no, you totally are." AND THEN SHE JUST FUCKING LEAVES

"Definitely our bigwings." Aww~ What a cute way to close off the first book :)

KESTREL'S DEAD?????

Anyway, great book. Can't wait to get my hands on the second one.

Item 2: A wreath made of withered roses This wreath was found discarded near Gem’s elven village. The roses are impeccably arranged in the form of a wreath to hang on one’s front door. A price tag was attached to it reading, “3 diamonds.”

Item 3: A photograph of a new structure built on another server This structure is a brown and pink wooden house built right next to a curved cherry tree with several glow berries hanging from it. Surrounding the house is a gardening area consisting of a wheat farm and glowberry section. [This structure was created and posted by Unknowntoast.]

You no have me thinking of the body horror Buggy must of gone through the first time he used his powers... Because I would not be sane if I sent my arm flying across the room to grab something.

I spend quite some time thinking about this, actually.

They were pretty young - still apprentices with the Roger pirates - when he ate the Devil fruit. I'll try to dance around spoilers but they were apprentices, roughly between 9 till 15 years old. When I say they, I mean Shanks and Buggy.

That's a pretty vulnerable age stretch. Let's just establish that right off the bat.

Now, I personally have the impression that this happened in the latter years of that stretch, so somewhere > 13 years or up. But a little while before they executed Gold Roger.

They knew it was a Devil fruit but not necessarily what this specific one did, and Shanks knew they were rare and therefore Buggy made the fair assumption that they were valuable. Schemes ensue that result in Buggy accidentally eating it (in a really looney tune scenario, ngl). He is, almost immediately, confronted by one of the major drawbacks of eating a Devil fruit - losing the ability to swim.

However, iirc, we don't see him actually use these powers until we see him strangle a lackey as an adult.

So, as you asked: how, when and why did he then find out what this specific Devil fruit actually does?

The short and funny answer I think of on bright sunny days, is that he just gdamn sneezed. You ever sneeze so hard you feel like you come apart? Yea.

By necessity, that implies there's a longer and not so funny answer that I think of on gloomy days. And, probably this is just in my nature, but I prefer this one. Even though randomly coming apart in and of itself is already quite traumatic as you stated. I, uh, made it worse?

You see, if it was in the latter half of that apprentice stretch, close to but not right before the trial and execution. It is feasible that he didn't actually learn what it did until during or after the execution. We know both Buggy and Shanks were deeply affected by it. I mean, they were 13-14-15 or thereabout, and their entire world, such as they knew it, just collapsed. Hell, Buggy cried. Entirely understandably. Like, they had no Yoren to keep them from seeing their not-Dad executed in front of them.

On top of which, it appears that in the aftermath, Buggy winds up... all alone.

You know what can happen when people do, when they are alone, unhappy, without a social support structure, and barely afloat in a pile of insecurity and self-image and self-worth issues?

They cut themselves.

And that's how I think he found out.

It's a maladaptive coping mechanism, a way of exerting control (over yourself, your life, your feelings) when all else seems to fail you.

He's the lowest he's ever been and then… even this fails. Even this he can't have, can't do, can't control. And it's Shanks fault, isn't it? All of it. And he hangs on to that anger instead because now THAT is all he has.

I think about this a lot. Poor dude.

Zhang Qiling's Childhood

I. Introduction

Zhang Qiling's childhood takes place from around the 1890s to the 1910s. We are not given many dates, but we are given ages and other helpful information. Everything in this post happened before Zhang Qiling reached the age of 13.

This post is based on the novels only and includes MAJOR SPOILERS from the novel Tibetan Sea Flower. Additionally, this post will include information from the novels that were left out/changed in Ultimate Note and Tomb of the Sea.

II. Birth (1890-1911)

Zhang Qiling was born on a sunny day in November. His exact birth year is unknown but based on Sand Sea and Tibetan Sea Flower, he was likely born sometime between 1890 and 1911.[Explanation of how this was calculated]

Zhang Qiling's parents were Bai Ma, a Tibetan doctor, and an unnamed father from the Zhang Family. Zhang Qiling's father met Bai Ma when he went to deliver goods in Nepal. Normally, the Zhang family intermarried to keep their blood pure, but Zhang Qiling was an outlier. His mother was someone from outside of the family.

III. Early Years

A. The 3,000-Year-Old Baby

As a baby, Zhang Qiling's father brought him to the Zhang family during the winter. The Zhangs were a powerful family that controlled historical events over countless dynasties. They have a long life span but bear intolerable side effects as a result.

Around the same time, the Zhang family opened King Zhou Mu's dragon-patterned box and took out a baby that had been sleeping for 3,000 years. This 3,000-year-old baby would have been a sign that perfect immortality—that is immortality without any negative side effects—was achievable. The hope of one day attaining perfect immortality and living free of intolerable side effects was at the core of the family's survival. But the 3,000-year-old baby had died, and perfect immortality was an extravagant hope. The baby was replaced with Zhang Qiling to fool the rest of the family and further the lie of immortality.

Zhang Qiling grew up without knowing his birth parents in the Zhang family's mansion located in the mountainous area of Jinling. At an early age, he was protected like a god and received rigorous training and education. He was also under a great deal of pressure from the family. Zhang Qiling didn’t talk or play with the other children and was generally a very lonely child.

B. The Conspiracy Is Exposed

It’s not known how long the lie about his birth lasted, but eventually the family’s lies and conspiracies were exposed, and as many in the family started rejecting the old social system, they became divided. Zhang Qiling was deemed the main culprit for dividing the family and was regarded as a disgrace by the very same people who had used him to rule it.

C. A Crisis Emerges

The Zhang family's rule soon began to decline and severe civil strife emerged. Two factions of the Zhangs, the main clan system and Fo Ye's family, fought in Sizhou City. As a result of this infighting, the Zhang family patriarch died and the city was flooded. Normally, the patriarch would correctly estimate his time of death and hand the new patriarch a special bronze bell. This bronze bell could not only offset the effect of other bronze bells, but was also the key to accessing a room where the Zhang family kept valuable secrets, including information on the Ultimate. These secrets were the duty and purpose of the family, and because of the patriarch's untimely death, they lost their reason for existing and a crisis emerged.

Conspirators at that time (likely the Wangs) wanted to prevent the Zhang family from finding out the Zhang patriarch was buried with the bell. And since the conspirators controlled the government, they were able to completely seal off the city. However, some in the Zhang family knew what had happened and went looking for the bell in the sealed-off city.

D. Looking for the Bronze Bell in Sizhou City

After Zhang Qiling was adopted by an unknown Zhang man, his adoptive father and that part of the family brought Zhang Qiling into the city to look for the bell. At eight or nine years old, Zhang Qiling was used as a blood bag because of his rare qilin blood. He was also a laborer and entered the narrow spaces that adults couldn’t to find artifacts. It was against the rules to bring such a young child into the field, but like other adopted Zhang children, Zhang Qiling had no one to protect him. The family failed to find the bronze bell and many of them, including Zhang Qiling's adoptive father, died as a result of the infighting while looking for the bell. Zhang Qiling managed to escape and knew that the secrets were still buried in the ancient city.

Here's what I think a tough question is:

Which Stand would Sunny have?

Sun (because Sun-ny)

Death Thirteen (because Sunny is very sleepy)

Sethan (because Sunny thinks about being Omori who is a younger version of himself)

Killer Queen (because stoic-antisocial-cat)

King Crimson (because split personality with Omori)

Jail House Lock (because memory loss)

Moody-Blues/Under-World (because memory)

or Vitamin C (because hands)?

Or is there another Stand that works better?

This is a really good list, I haven't thought about some of them - this might get lengthy, so sorry in advance

(it's probably obvious but this is gonna contain spoilers for parts 3-9 with stands lol)

-Sun doesn't really fit much

Aside from it referencing Mari's gravestone quote "The sun shined brighter when she was here" and having Sun replace the warmth that has left with Mari, it doesn't seem to fit

Nice pun lol

-Death 13 is an amazing fit

It's dream manipulation is really simmiliar to Headspace, even down to the fact that both are under an individual's control, but still can be ruined from the inside (courtesy to Kakyoin/DW Basil)

-Sethan is quite the stretch

You can say that it's ability symbolises Sunny's wish to go back before the accident, to when he was still a kid and/or having the so called "child ignorance and innocence"

-Killer Queen is a good one, as each bomb represents different aspects

Killer Queen causes tremendous demage to put it lightly to anything KQ touches, same can be said for Sunny with his violin and Mari

Sheer Heart Attack has a singular goal as a automatic stand, it only wants to complete this goal by any means necessary - same can be said for Omori protecting Sunny's psyche, seeing only means to an end

Bites The Dust is the wish to turn back time, both Kira and Sunny wanting to prevent events, such as the spread of Kira's identity and the accident respectively.

-King Crimson while seemingly a good choice, is hard to justify

King Crimson's time skip can reference "Close your eyes, you'll be here soon" from My Time, as both want to skip ahead of the pain, knowing what'll happened next

But I have to disagree on the point of spilt personalities - while Doppio & Diavolo are an example of this, Omori is something akin to Sunny's Headspace avatar. And Diavolo is the personality with a stand - King Crimson and the sub-stand Epitaph. While Doppio uses Epitaph and KC's arms, he does so after Diavolo "gives them" to him

Doppio has seemingly no stand on his own

-Jailhouse Lock is quite easy

As it represents Sunny's selective memory

-Moody Blues and Underworld are also interesting fits

Moody Blues is like watching an action play out, not being able to prevent it - only to inspect and reflect on it

It's proven to work on the deseaced too

Underground as well - it can summon events from the past and like MB, it cannot change the outcome

Essentially both stands function as observing the past without having the ability to interfere

- Vitamin C is an oddball

Aside from it's heavily themed design around hands it doesn't fit very well

I'd much prefer a stand like Geb for this manner

As for wich stands i believe whoud fit, the aforementioned Death 13 and Killer Queen fit nicely, others not on the list I believe might fit are

-Geb

As previously mentioned, Geb fits the hands motif as well

It's been shown to have a great skill and is quite terrifying to go against

-Surface

Simmiliar to MB and UW it can act as reliving a memory. It's not shown if it can copy the deseaced, but it's shown to take on the personality of it's target

You cloud say this can allow the illusion of a deseceased one to still be alive

(actually I've been meaning to make Omori into a simmiliar puppet based stand, but it's still not guaranteed)

-Whitesnake

It's disc ability is simmiliar to Jailhouse's selective memory, it's cold personality and it's "dream enduring acid trap" as well

-California King Bed

It falls into a simmiliar position to a few of the previous stands - the theme of it's ability fits, but not it's triggers for activation

-The Matte Kudasai

But that's probably a hyper stretch and I'm probably bias cuz of Jojolands

The nature of the ability fits well, allowing the user to create a copy. While this copy might look identical to the outside person, it's user knows

Summary: All right let's do this one last time. Black Spider aka Felicia Hardy and formally known at Black Cat voices her disagreement of Miguel's of doing things. Story idea that most likely has grammatical errors. Let me know. Feel free to comment, like, and enjoy.

Rated: PG-13 Angst, language, mentions of violance, injury and blood.

"It's bullshit!"

"Margo, Lyla, prepare the machine."

"On it," the usually sunny yellow hologram replies.

"Why?" the teen asks meekly, daring to take a step toward the spider on the trail. Standing alone under the scrutinizing spotlight while others looked on in the shadows. Animated eyes of varying styles wincing and wide in shock. The teen freezes at the lead Spider-Man high on his perch and shoots her a threatening glare to freeze her in place. "Right on it," she squeaks.

"I’m right, ain’t I?"

"Black Spider,"

"You know I’m right," she gasps, her breath picking up.

"Felicia Hardy is hereby disbanded from the spider society."

An eruption of gasps sounds.

"Miguel, you can’t do this; please listen--"

She bites her tongue at the lead spider-man leaping from his hovering platform and landing inches from her. He towers over her. Her eyes stared into the red skull of the spider on his chest.

"I did listen!" he seethes, fangs bared and red eyes glowing through the shadow his brows cast. "And look what happened. Anomalies, incursions, and the possibility of the total collapse of the universe, multiverse, and reality, life as we know it."

"We're not the chosen ones, not by fate or some higher fuckin’ power placing shitty circumstances to teach us some lesson!" she heaves. Seeing she wasn’t breaking through with the leader, frantic eyes looked to the frightened ones around her. "Life just sucks." she says, reaching out and stepping over for the others to join her with pleading eyes that this was wrong. The enforcing rules on others just because we deem it so. The control of ensuring the canon. A dictatorship.

She glitches out, clenching her stomach and falling to the floor, crying out in pain. The swarm of spiders scattered. Scurrying away from her like a plague, leaving her again alone in the light. Her atoms stabilized, and she peeled herself off the floor.

"Life is cold and cruel, and it doesn't have a reason why we’re the ones to get the biggest serving." She catches her breath, lifting her head and turning to face the lead spider head on. "Please Miguel," she tries one more time.

"Don’t make this harder than it has to be."

"All set, sir!" Margo calls.

"I’m sorry," he says in a whisper.

"Sure you are." She smiles, seeing a small glimmer of hurt in his eyes. A robotic roar sounds, drawing everyone’s attention to the robotic spider walking over its web from above. Beginning her march, she glitches, stumbling over her feet. Miguel goes for her wrist. Within an instant, she strikes it. Gripping his wrist and digging her claws, making sure to leave a mark before shoving his hand away. An army of hands grabbed her limbs, lifting her up and grabbing her flailing legs, placing her on a platform that began to glow. Building a web around her. Miguel swings over, watching the wall form between them. "Dimension Lock. Countdown Sequence Commence."

"Say something?" he begs. He never begs. The terrifying Spider-Man 2099, the neon devil, The blade runner meets the Boogeyman. Looking at the small woman. Her suit was covered in dirt and tears. Three claw stripes across her face. Blood-like tears down her chin.

"3"

"With great power…" she sighs, finally looking up at the lead spider.

"2"

Her eyes filled with determination, and she lifted her arm to show a wrist watch. His watch. Miguel’s eyes widened as he looked at his own wrist, finding it bare.

"1."

"Comes with great responsibility." she ends. The glowing web's containment completes, and the room flashes with light.

"YO!" she shouts up, standing outside an apartment building. After waiting a few moments, the window opens.

"Buzz the bell!" Aaron calls down.

"I did."

"Must be out again."

Exponential, as it doubled in spread each time it spreads. It’s probably ruined about a quarter of the map as of getting to chapter 13, so there’s that lmfao.

Sunny moving around actually slows the virus down, since it spreads faster if he remains somewhere east to have a central location. Instead moving just causes only small bits of the virus to spread around, instead of larger more dangerous chunks.

the Bob’s Burgers Movie is a cinematic MASTERPIECE (with minor spoilers)

there is SO much to unpack here ,,,

first of all Sunny Side Up Summer has been continuously and uninterruptedly playing in my head for days. there are no other songs except the bobs burgers movie soundtrack. it’s not often music will give me goosebumps but when i tell you i was SHAKING it was such a good song. the bouncy animation made everything about it so alive. the tina and gene’s ballads about their hopes for the summer, tina perusing Jimmy Jr to be her “summer boyfriend,” gene fantasizing about presenting his unique sounds and music to an audience with his sisters and his friends. LOUISE however, shot me directly through the heart and then stepped right on it.

louise, the loud, intense, electrically charged 9-year-old with tastes for action and revenge in all applicable situations, going NEAR DEAD SILENT for her verses??????? i was INTRIGUED. her whole section of the song voiced her worry for how connected to her childhood she remains, and her worry is centered around the pink bunny ears she’s worn since she was three years old. “if they hear me talking bout them, don’t know what i am without them” ????????? SOBBING. we haven’t seen her vulnerable about this topic since Logan stole her ears early on in the series.

my focus on this specifically is fueled mainly by the fact that louise is the perfect person in the belcher family to make this vulnerable. bob has his worries that the restaurant will be repossessed and he won’t be able to provide for his family, linda worries her husband is going to drive himself into a spiral of depression and anxiety, tina is concerned for her relationship with Jimmy Jr (which, considering their history and the mannerisms for a 13-year-old girl like Tina, is accurate and relatable understandable), and Gene is afraid of the rejection of others in response to his music and creativity. All of these things are touched upon repeatedly in the series. But Louise’s vulnerability surrounding her ears is really only stressed once or twice, and it all mainly takes place in the episode where Logan swipes them.

To have the movie have this underlying theme of holding onto aspects of childhood through growth, while the main theme of what are probably some of the healthiest family values ever represented in television/film sits overarching throughout the plot (the belchers’ healthy family dynamic vs. the fischoders) makes it SOOO much more deep and relatable for viewers. (it also makes it easier for me to dissect and analyze, like Tina’s fetal pig.)

also don’t even get me STARTED on the story behind Louise’s ears??????? for the majority of the film and all time taking place before it, she believes her ears were gifted to her because of her fear of starting preschool, and that she was only able to go into her first day because of them; when in truth, bob and linda gave her the ears after her first day, because of her bravery. and the explanation that the ears were only created because linda had extra material when she was making a hat, a hat that would match and be in reference to Bob’s mother, who died in his childhood. “it’s like, with the hat, you two have met. i keep forgetting that you didn’t.” heartbroken. i was crying. i’ve watched it 4 times since it began streaming and i still cry every time.

if you haven’t watched the Bob’s Burgers Movie on Hulu and HBOMax, go watch it and hang on every word. if you haven’t watched the Bob’s Burgers series on Hulu, GO WATCH IT BECAUSE YOURE MISSING OUT.

the first few seasons, the show is still finding its footing after immediately straying from its original horror plot pilot of cannibalism and gore. i’m really really glad Bob’s Burgers didn’t become another Family Guy or American Dad. the franchise brings me nothing but joy and i endorse it wholeheartedly.
