I'm always a sucker for teleportation magic gone wrong types, and Carrie joins Suikoden's proud tradition of Viki's as yet another lost and kind of ditzy teleport mishap prone mage. I do love that she's got more of an attitude about it though; insisting she's a prodigy magician and that she doesn't make mistakes and we didn't see what we saw and if tell anyone otherwise she'll follow us to the ends of the earth. i love her already

(She reminds me of a time I was working a toy store and a guy and his son are looking at the little metal papercraft-y kit things. And as the dad was trying to gently dissuade his son from being so dead set on it, he mentions "I dunno buddy they're really small and delicate. And they're made of metal so if you make a msitake you can't undo it." To which the kid snapped back a little too readily, "I DON'T MAKE MISTAKES" to which i had to turn away not to laugh directly in their faces about it.)

Honestly the idea of Viki's Blinking Rune that she has in the Suikoden Series would be fun. XD; It's essentially a teleport. She can sneeze randomly at times and will teleport to a completely different continent -- and sometimes time, if I'm remembering right. But I would 100% need the Blinking Mirror she has, as well. Since it comes with her in the game I would think that it should with this. Yes yes

Blink isn't just for random teleporting, either. Per the Suikoden Wiki...

Ready! Teleport one enemy, failure causes one ally to teleport.

Set! Teleport objects over enemies' heads so that it falls on them 150 damage all enemies. Failure causes object to teleport over the heads of allies.

Go! Teleport all monsters, failure teleports all except self.

Now as for the world?

ooooh dear. I read far too many books and there are so many worlds I would want to visit. But, for the lols [and shark husband] I would love to be in the Breath of the Wild world.

Would I survive long?

#dude i miss this game so much #i tried tierkreis last year and it was. admittedly not as good as the other ones #mainly becos i dont like the storyline & the map but maybe also bcs they erased a lot of the good elements from the series #but it was still nice #my fave is still the second one #followed by idk the 3rd one? #the first one is also good but im probably biased becos tir is my fave character (and he didn't even speak. he's me.) #no but you see i also love riou but tir's backstory was much more explained. like the soul eater rune etc and his relationship w his dad #oh. oh i almost forgot viki. viki my baby #honestly she's the best thing about the game #she's soooo lovely #suikoden 2 is also good becos when playing rpgs i prefer the ones with 2d graphic? its much easier for my brain to process lol #(and i love the little pixel animations <3) #the storyline is what gets me i think. sort of feels like. naruto & sasuke type of thing but if they WERE friendly before they split ways #and madara & hashirama were also friendly #i forgot genkaku's friend's name D: but ya #also. riou nanami jowy. ugh. so much happened to them :( THEY WERE 17 #idk how long the storyline lasts maybe about #2-3 years? #BUT THEY WERE 17 WHEN IT ALL STARTED. THEY'RE MY AGE #i loved the map so much so collecting characters was a lot of fun. might go for another happy ending later idk #definitely after exam week tho #suikoden has me by the throat this game is so cool #i've never thought about it when i played the game but jowy getting divorced at 19 was definitely something lol #also like just. how jowy took over L'Renouille in general is so #Rowd: join our kingdom #Jowy: fuck you. my kingdom now #Luca: this is my sister Jillia #Jowy: fuck you. my wife now

Good morning to everyone except the Twin Snake boss that lives on the mountain pass between the grasslands and Le Buque/Caleria from the first chapter of Geddoe's story in Suikoden III.

#Suikoden #Z speaks #there was zero reason to plop that asshole down #in an unavoidable spot #that early in the game #AND it respawns! #It's the one part of that game #that I always remember right after I think #'Oh maybe I'll replay Suikoden III again!' #I mean it usually doesn't stop me #from replaying it #but it definitely gives me pause. #That and Yuber at the end #but Viki can usually kick his ass using the blinking rune and RNG
