It's just a sketch today, as I'm now starting to draw the entire cast and boy- it's so fun to practice drawing with all of them

I'm still struggling to draw hyugo hair but he is now my second best boy

My headcanon on Deryl is whenever he is practicing, groups of girls will just swoon over and kyaa kyaa~ the entire time, bet some will just take his towel as a prize possession- and hyugo is the type of said Yaho! Or Ossu! when he greet Sol, he kinda give me that vibe

I’m not sure if you meant platonic or romantic, so I tried to make it for both :)

Brittney:

I feel like she wouldn’t notice, like at all. She’s probably is the reason with her comments tbh.. 

But! If you come out and say it, she’d get it I think. If it was the Mean Girls, she’d want to fight them I’m sure. Another food fight? Perhaps..👀 

If something she said makes you upset and your esteem go down, i honestly don’t think she’d apologize right away. You’d have to tell her what she said was hurtful and then she would apologize. 

If someone else made a comment? Hands are thrown✊👊 She stands up for you and won’t let anyone talk shit about you. 

I feel like she would understand, and try to help with the ways that help her. 

She’d offer to prepare a bath for you and get some of your favorite snacks, before watching a movie together. She’d let you pick(reluctantly) and when/if she gets bored during it, she would speak up and tell you not to listen to the others. That you’re fine just the way you are 🩷

Geo:

He wouldn’t care💀😭

He’d be like “Not my problem 😐”

But let’s get into our fantasies and make him nice 😌

He’s very observant, so he’d probably know real quick. He’d ask you about it out right and bluntly. He doesn’t beat around the bush. 

If you deny it, he’s not gonna be mad. He understands that it’s not something you want to admit. He would hope you would tell him the truth. 

If you confirm his suspicions, he’d be subtle. 

He can tell by the way you curl in on yourself when someone comments about you. He glares at the people who even talk to you, and tell them off. 

He’d bring an extra hoodie or sweater and offer it for you. He’d share some of his food with you, much to the dismay of Deryl.

He’s suggest you come over to his dorm/place/home and set up something nice. He’d offer some tea, wrap you up in a blanket with him, and put on some soft music to soothe you to sleep💜

Deryl:

I don’t he’d notice quickly, but after a while he might catch on. Key word “Might.” I don’t think he’s very observant honestly. 

He’d notice how quiet you get and comment on it. He’d ask if you’re okay and try to cheer you up. He’d listen intently (try to anyway. He love him for it), nodding his head along. He would understand and say you’re not alone. 

That it’s normal for people to feel this way and everyone feels like that sometimes. Even him! 

He would hold out his arms and try for a hug. He’d squeeze you tightly and nuzzle his nose in your hair/neck/cheek/etc

He’s probably the best with jokes and making people feel better. He’d ask what he could do to help, if there’s anything, and try to do it immediately 💛

Jess:

I feel like she wouldn’t notice either honestly. You’d have to be out right with your thoughts and feelings.

She’s completely understanding and offers all the ways that helped her in the past. 

She’d suggest bubbles baths, taking a nap, journalling, hanging out with Brittney-

She’s shyly offer a small hug and hold you for as long as you want. She’d rub your back while humming a tune. If you want, she’d even scratch your back for you. 🧡

I’m sorry I don’t have much else 😭

Crowe:

He notices quickly too. He probably won’t comment and just wait for you to say something. 

He’d try to be subtle with his ways of helping you. Maybe a compliment on your hair one day, another on your outfit, one about how lovely your smile is, another-

And so on. 

If you tell him he’s completely there for you. He’s smiling softly at you as you explain your feelings and he’s nodding along. He’s not entirely sure how to help, but if you tell him he’ll do it. He’d do anything for you. 

He’d ask what he could do. He’d take what you say and also his ideas, while doing some research to help. 

He’d write down some motivation quotes and add them to your work stuff with hopes you’ll see them. 💙

Sol:

He would know immediately and he would try to help you the best he can.

He’d make you cute little lunches with compliments or inspirational words made out of food. 

He’s already offering his shirt, just take it. It’s there to make you feel better! Totally not any other reason..

If you want to talk about it, he’s more than happy to led an ear. 

He’d also try to distract you I think. He’s always eager to spend time with you, and this is a good excuse! He’d suggest a bunch of different stuff like a museum, art show, etc.

Many museums have sculptures, and he would go for those ones specifically to show you that you’re perfect the way you are. People in the ancient times thought they were beautiful, so why aren’t you? You are. 💚

Hyugo:

He’d try to distract you from your thoughts I think, once he realizes them. He’d probably take a bit of time before he does notice though.

He’d invite you to watch movies, listen to inspirational stories, or funny tv shows with him. 

I’m a firm believer he’s all for aggressive positivity. Waving his arms in a heart shape and screaming affirmations to you. 

He’d be very protective, glaring at anyone who dares look at you the wrong way, and then turning back to you pouting about how they were interrupting. 

He would try to bake something or get you treats from a local bakery. I can imagine him putting the little treats into a cute box with ribbon. In order to get the desserts, you would have to accept some compliments 🩵

TKATB - Theories, wahoo.

This will contain spoilers for Days 1 and 2 of @fantasia-kitt 's 'The Kid At The Back', along with containing mentions of material found on her Twitter (https://twitter.com/fantasia_kitt).

This is mostly based off things I've picked apart and/or kinda pieced together. If you feel I'm incorrect, or am missing something; hell, if you have any theories of your own, please share!

Anyway, the actual theories (apologies in advance if the rambling is...uh...too rambly).

- Okay, so considering the fact Jess was moved into the ‘Lower Class’ school, it means that she either failed a class or got a ‘violation’ (those are the conditions for being moved down, according to Hyugo). Brittney mentioned how ‘confident and loud’ Jess is when she’s angry, and Brittney apparently was popular at some point, but lost it at the party (it was mentioned a few times by Deryl) 2 years ago due to an incident. I think maybe Brittney was being bullied and Jess lost her shit, maybe even got physical? And that led to the duo being sent to the ‘Lower Class’ school.

- Subaru (Geo) and Hyugo are mentioned to be brothers, but Hyugo says “Subaru! I wasn’t expecting to see you here!”, which could mean Geo (due to him being rich af) was moved down as well??? Hyugo and Geo are brothers but have different surnames, so I have a feeling (also because Geo is said to have daddy issues by Fantasia herself), that maybe Subaru Oogami and Hyugo Sugimoto aren’t related.

- Continuing that, Hyugo is the ‘traitor’ that the ‘Rough-Voiced Man’ was looking for in the cinema, so he’s obviously affilated with some dodgy people, and we know he hates injustice, so perhaps he is a mercenary or assassin of sorts (he did canonically kill somebody, with Sol witnessing it, check Fantasia’s twitter); and that could be why Geo avoids him? Hell, why does Subaru even go by Geo? Is it a codename, like Geo Sugimoto, is he hiding his real identity?

- With the person who threatened MC and their father with taking the farm, and the Marie Antoinette references, maybe the ‘handsome man’ is Crowe’s father? Hell, maybe even Eries, the fuchsia-eyed celebrity Jess loves. Along with that, the 'moral' I suppose of her biography was along the lines of: change is inevitable, either you deny it, or accept it. It'll happen anyway, what changes is your role and reaction to it (say you choose Crowe, Sol'll lose his marbles; if you choose Sol, Crowe might move on...unless he's also insane but I doubt it).

- Flowers seem to be important symbolism-wise, like the carnation and passionflower mentions made by Crowe (carnations can mean love for someone, or purity if white, or rejection/disappointment if yellow. Passionflowers mean renewal and hope I think). Brugmansia is also a poisonous flower, so it hints to Sol being a ‘poison’ that could kill us.

- I've seen this mentioned by @sweet-herbal-peach-tea (I'm sorry for tagging you anon, I wanted to credit you; also check their theories out as well anons), but I'll add it here anyway: With the prominence of Edgar Allan Poe's 'Annabel Lee', it could hint to Sol having loved us either in a past life...or...maybe we - the MC - look identical to a past lover of his, one who maybe passed; and he's deluded himself into thinking we are them?

Now for my favourite ones:

- The Hallow’s Ball, the event Deryl mentions on the groupchat, is on Friday. Assuming the game will be 7 days long and that Day 1 is Monday, that means Day 5 is crucial. It could be a catalyst, hell it may even decide what ending you get (Fantasia said there’ll probably be about 5, 1 true, 2 good, 2 bad; albeit that could change). Geo mentions he doesn’t want to go, neither does Brittney, but I think she will due to the fact Jess is. It may decide whether you choose Crowe or Sol, along with finalising relations with the other characters.

- Hyugo also mentions ‘taking care of Sol for him’, implying his absence…or even death. Hyugo pulls a gun on a person who seems to know him, maybe the boss of a crime syndicate? Hyugo hates injustice, so maybe the missing persons cases are being caused by people Hyugo knows, and he wants to stop them? I think if Hyugo vanishes (hell, it’s already known that he doesn’t always show up to class), it might be a way to get more info out of Geo.

That’s all I got off the top of my head lol, if it seems janky, I'm sorry. ;^

And uuh...yeah. This is my first Tumblr post so yeah. Love this Visual Novel and cannot wait to see more! (Especially of Geode lmfao).

Geo x Reader

I’m so proud of this😩 And I know he only has like one or two lines but I love him he’s awesome.

Warnings: None? Cursing, Showering but nothing happens. Just pure fluff

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I let out a yawn as I unlock the door with the spar key that Geo gave me, and walk into his house/dorm/apartment(?). I take my shoes off and put them in the designated spot, knowing too well that he’ll rip my ear off if I don’t. 

I hang my backpack up and make my way around to find him. I’m still surprised he even invited me over, which he rarely does because, as he says he likes his own space. I can understand that, he’s an introverted personal guy, and I’d hate to cross any of his boundaries. Especially since we’ve been dating for a while. 

“Geo?” I call out in a sing song way and peek into the kitchen. Huh, okay he’s not there. “In here.” He replies in the same monotone voice, with a slight hint of warmth. I walk into the living room and find him sitting on a small cushion on the floor, with a few papers and books laid out neatly. He must be working on a project.

I walk over to him and plop myself down next to him, keeping slight distance in case he’s the in the mood for physical contact. “Hi Geo~” I greet him sweetly, laying my head back on the couch and gazing up at him. His eyes glance over to me before returning back to his work. “Hi.” He replies plainly. 

I smile softly and relax against the couch, perfectly content just being in his presence. The Tv plays a simple program of a murder documentary, which used to surprise me. I didn’t take Geo as the type to listen or watch those kinds of shows, but he’s always filled with surprises. 

“How was work?” He asks quietly and glances back at me. 

“Eh it was alright, nothing too special but tiring.” I respond with a yawn. 

He hums and nods his head, picking up a book and reading a few sentences. He’s a hard worker, I’ve always liked that about him. “How was your day?” I ask him question, to which he shrugs. “Nothing important.” He tells me blankly and then pauses for a second. “Professor gave my class an assignment that’s due by Friday.” 

He informs me and stares, as if he’s analyzing my every move. I shifts his head to the side, looking at me expectantly. I raise an eyebrow curiously and my eyes narrow slightly. He shifts his head again as his eyes narrow at my lack of understanding. “Get over here before I change my mind.” 

I light up when I finally realize what he’s referring to and immediately move closer to him. I let out a pleasant sigh as I nuzzle my head into his shoulder comfortably. He lays his head on top of mine and goes back to his work. 

After a few minutes of calm and quietness, he lifts his head and scowls at me.

“You smell like shit.” 

My eyes widen in surprise and I let out a loud cackle. “Seriously?” I choked out as I laugh harder. He nods, frowning at me and my reaction. “It’s not funny. You smell awful, get away from me.” He pushes me away from him and I gasp as I let myself fall to the side. 

“Oh the pain! Oh the misery!” I exclaim dramatically, holding my hands to my chest. “My own boyfriend! How could you do this to me?” He scowls again and tries to push me away even further. “Seriously, what is that on you? This is not normal.” 

I shrug, laughing at his disgusted expression. He shakes his head in disbelief and disappointment. “You need a shower.” He tells me seriously and waves me off. “Shoo. Go away. Your stench isn’t welcomed here.” 

I laugh again and sit up. “Are you kicking me out?” I ask playfully and instantly regret my words, knowing that he just might actually kick me out. He glares at me for a moment before glancing away. He’s silent, as if he’s lost in thought. Shit, he actually is gonna kick me out..

“You can use mine…” He murmurs quietly. “Go take a shower. You can borrow my clothes for the night..” He states as he stands up. My jaw drops, “Wait really? Are you playing around or are you being serious?” I ask and stand up as well. 

He groans, “Don’t make me change my mind.” I shut up after his threat, with a large smile on my face. He hands me towels from the closet and I suddenly get an idea. I look up at him, “Hey, Geo?” 

“What now?”

“Do…do you..or, can we shower together?” I ask softly, tilting my head as I wait for his response. “We don’t have to, just a thought. Maybe it’d be nice?” I explain my reasoning a bit and smile at his flushed expression. He glances away and starts to fiddle with his earrings.  

“Um..” He hesitates and glances back into my eyes. I notice his reluctance, so I speak up. “Never mind, forget I said anything. I’m sorry.” I apologize quickly and move to head into the bathroom and try to wash away the shame of this conversation. He stops me before I make it in.

“No funny business.” He tells me seriously. I nod my head and smile back at him. “No funny business.” I repeat back to him. He thinks for a moment before nodding and grabbing more towels. He hands them to me and moves to his bedroom. 

“Start the water, I’ll be there in a minute.” He motions me to go on in and I do so. I set the towels up and start the water, making sure it’s the perfect temperature. He returns with two sets of clothes and placed them down. I turn away from him, letting him have his privacy for a few moments before we shower together for the first time. 

“Are you sure you’re okay with this?” I ask him hesitantly as I pull my shirt over my head. He hums as the sound of his clothes shuffling off fill the bathroom. “Yes, I’m sure. I need to make sure you don’t slip and die like the klutz you are.” 

“Hey!” I snap back playfully. He steps in and after I’ve finished undressing, I join him. He’s still shy, I can tell from how he covers himself. I turn my back to him in an attempt to make him more comfortable. I hear him let out a small sigh of relief. 

Holy shit holy shit holy shitholyshitholyshit! Is this real? This can’t be, Geo, my boyfriend is actually letting us shower together?! 

“Stay that way.” He tells me softly and I feel his fingers pull my head back gently. The faucet wets my hair as he lathers his hands up with shampoo and starts to wash my hair for me. I close my eyes and enjoy the closeness and the way he scratches my scalp tenderly. 

He washes and rinses my hair throughly and pulls away. I turn my head back to look at him, keeping my eyes on his face. “Can I wash your hair?” 

“No.” He replies immediately and I nod, turning my head back around. “Want me to sing?”

“For the good of mankind no.” 

I snort and start to lather up the washcloth with soap, his soap. “Fine fine. You’re missing out though.” I giggle and start to scrub my body. 

Soon enough our shower is over and he turns off the water. He jumps out and quickly wraps himself in a towel. I step over carefully and wrap up in a towel as well. I smile brightly at him. “Thank you.” 

His eyes narrow suspiciously at me. “What for?”

“Showering with me, it was nice.” I start to dry my hair gently and he glances away. 

“It was nice…” He whispers softly.

IT WAS YET ANOTHER LONG, BORING DAY AT SCHOOL. [MC]'s eyes shifted from poster to poster, which were pinned onto the school's bulletin board. They skimmed through all the available clubs and then slightly scoffed since none of the clubs interested them. Eventually, their sight set on the poster that was dedicated towards the archery club.

They finally found something somewhat interesting. [MC]'s eyes landed on the time and area where the archery club was taking place.

After a few hours, it was time for the archery club to begin it's usual practices. [MC] stood awkwardly, not knowing what they should do, when they felt someone looking at them. [MC] turned their head, their eyes meeting blue ones.

"[MC]!" Hyugo chirped with an excited tone, waving them over. [MC] sighed in relief, thankful that there was someone they knew here. They walked over to Hyugo. "What are you doing here?" Hyugo asked with a curious smile, his hands resting on his hips.

"Well, I want to join the club but I don't know how to start.." [MC] bashfully replied, their hand scratching the back of their neck. Hyugo's mouth formed into a small 'o' before erupting into a happy grin once more, as he excitedly took their hands in his. "I'll show you the basics!" Hyugo happily exclaimed, already leading them towards one of the free targets. Hyugo turned to [MC] and was about to speak, but before he could, someone harshly shoved him to the side.

"I'll show them, go away." Geo's cold voice rang out as he glared at his brother in jealousy, seemingly upset at how his brother's hands were grasping his soon-to-be betrothed ones. Hyugo pouted as he put his hands on his hips again. "You could've asked nicely.." He murmured as he shrugged and walked away to practice alone.

[MC] stared holes into Hyugo's back, not wanting to be left alone with this terrifying man.

HYUGO. COME BACK. PLEASE. I DONT WANT TO BE ALONE WITH HIM-

"Come on." Geo coldly demanded, staring at [MC]. He threw a bow their way, which [MC] barely managed to catch. He also gave them some arrows. Geo pointed towards one of the free targets. "Shoot." He demanded once more.

"But.. I don't know how to-" [MC] was about to complain, but Geo decided to cut them off. "Shoot." He demanded more firmly, his eyebrows slightly furrowed. "...dickhead." [MC] murmured, which Geo thankfully didn't hear.

alright, come on, just like in the movies. just like in the movies.

[MC] took an arrow, then pulled the string of the bow back. They were about to let go, but then froze in place, feeling someone press their chest against their back.

"You're not holding it correctly." Geo murmured in their ear, causing goosebumps to form on their skin. Geo put a hand on their hip and forced them to take a step back. "Your feet should be shoulder width apart, and your body should be turned to the side.." He spoke in a slightly hushed tone, putting his hands on their waist to turn them to the side.

Geo let out a satisfied hum and pressed his back against their chest once more. And [MC]? Still frozen in place. "Now, you have to hold it like this..." He muttered, putting his larger hands over [MC]'s ones, guiding them to hold the bow correctly. "Pull the arrow back." Geo softly demanded, his head tilted to the side as he stared stoicly at [MC].

[MC] slowly pulled the string back. "Let go." He muttered. [MC] obeyed and let go of the arrow, the arrow landing perfectly on the bullseye. "Perfect. Just like you." Geo murmured the last part, which [MC] didn't hear.

Whispers erupted from the people of the archery club about Geo's unusual and uncanny behaviour. They immediately shut up when he looked at them with a glare that could possibly put someone in a hospital bed. "Sheesh, love birds." Hyugo muttered, wondering why he decided to watch all of that.

GEO HAS BEEN INTERESTED IN A CERTAIN SOMEONE FOR A LITTLE WHILE, THAT SOMEONE BEING [MC]. He didn't really know why, but he just found himself extremely somewhat fond of them. He found himself relieved when they sat in front of him instead of Deryl at lunch, he felt relaxed whenever their calming voice spoke to him, and he adored the fact that they were calm and composed. He'd never admit it, but he definitely enjoyed their company.

His blue chill eyes immediately landed on [MC] once they came into his sight. He tilted his head as he saw them texting someone in what seemed to be a hurry, their expression slightly irritated.

Geo's eyebrows unknowingly furrowed in unwanted curiosity. Just who was the person [MC] was texting? He had to know. He had to know who was sooo important.

His eyes followed [MC]'s figure as they rushed out of the school. Geo didn't have to think twice before he started to follow them. He made sure to walk at a distance, so it didn't look like he was following them. After a few minutes of walking, Geo stopped in his tracks once he noticed [Name] entering a small plant shop. His head tilted as he squinted his eyes, trying to figure out why exactly [MC] would come here. Was it for something?... someone....?...

His jaw clenched in frustration, just the thought of them buying something for someone other than him was more than enough to make him pissed. He quietly took a deep breath to calm down and walked towards the plant shop. Geo took one of his hands out of his pocket and opened the door, looked in, and froze on the spot. [MC] stood behind the counter, watering a few plants that were placed upon the window stool.

Geo's eyes slightly softened, quietly admiring the gorgeous person in front of him, not realising he was starting to space out.

".....o?"

".....eo?"

"Geo?"

[MC]'s voice called out, breaking him out of his little dream world. Geo blinked and looked at [MC], his eyes immediately shifting back to those usually intimidating ones. "What are you doing here? Don't you have archery today?" [MC]'s calm voice questioned, their head tilted with curiosity. Geo's face remained stoic, but on the inside, he almost screamed at how adorable that little action they made was.

"..." Geo remained quiet for a few seconds, staring down at [MC]. "I came here to buy a potted plant." Geo spoke, his tone stoic and cold as always. [Name] nodded and offered a small smile, one that melted Geo's icy heart. "Well, is there anything specific you have in mind, or would you like for me to pick for you?" [MC] politely asked, their head tilted once more.

Geo had to resist the urge to just take out his phone and take a million photos of them, I mean, who wouldn't after seeing someone so adorable?

"You can choose." Geo replied, making sure he sounded like he was uninterested. [MC] nodded and walked around the shop a few times, then walked back to Geo, a bunch of potted plants held by their arms. "Alright,so I brought a few that are common with beginners." [MC] calmly stated with a closed eye smile, then placed the potted plants onto the counter.

"Alright, so this one is a jade plant. They require a minimum of 6 hours of bright light every day and are best kept in dry areas that reach around 18 to 24 degrees Celcius (65-75°F)." [MC] explained, pointing to one of the plants. Geo occasionally nodded to show he was listening.

[MC] pointed to another flower. "This one, I think you already know, an orchid. They require high humidity levels, and it's also necessary to-" [MC] continued to explain the flower and it's necessities, but Geo's mind was in another world.

Orchids... don't they symbolise.... love? Was... was [Name] trying to tell him something?

Geo could feel his heart rate pick up its pace, his body temperature rising. "For the next plant-" [MC] was about to speak, but Geo cut them off. "I'll take the orchid." Geo spoke in a dull and blunt manner. [Name] blinked once, then nodded. "Alright then, just give me a second to put the rest back." They said, picked up the other plants and rushed to place them in their assigned places, then came back to the counter. "You know what, this one is on the house." [Name] said, a small smile formed on their face.

Geo furrowed his eyebrows in disagreement, but on the inside, he was on the verge of breaking down in joy. "Let me pay." Geo demanded, his wallet somehow finding its way into his hands. "I said it's on the house, just this once, just because you're my favourite person." [MC] gave a small wink.

Geo's hand unconsciously moved to linger above [MC]'s head, then lowered to gently patted the top of their head. "...thank you." Geo quietly murmured, continuing to pat their head. A soft chuckle escaped [Name]'s lips. "Well here you are, see you at school tomorrow." [MC] said, holding out the bag the orchid was placed in. Geo retracted his hand and picked up the bag with one hand. He walked towards the door of the shop, opened it and walked away, not before waving though.

As Geo slowly walked home, his mind completely drifted off again.

Geo sat upon his bed, the hand which patted [MC]'s head cradled up to his chest, right next to his pounding heart. Geo's head was tilted down, hiding a rare smile full of love and adoration. He felt warm, fuzzy, and happy. He made so much progress in the span of barely ten minutes.
