A lil vent

I am frustrated that I have to post the same art on 700 apps every time I make anything new, and my biggest platform (twitter) just has zero reach and it's gotten so much worse since musk!!

I'm frustrated that I need to spend time on every app engaging with everyone to be seen. And I LOVE seeing lots of cute art but if I spent this kind of time on every app doing that it would take up my entire day. I just don't know what I should do anymore about this.

As a disabled artist my art is my livelihood and one with a flexible schedule for my disabled needs. But it's getting more difficult to get seen out here.

I just can't believe the horrible ripple effect of muskrat buying twitter caused for like everyone. I hope it gets better for us artists soon.

To be completely honest, my depression has been hitting me bad lately, and my mental health has been nose-diving at speed the past several weeks. Which scares me because I don't want to undo all of the work I've put into being better and generally happier. Today was a particularly rough day mentally, so just for today, I decided to take a little break and lose myself in my new ACNL town ❤️‍🩹

my aim is to make everything for it myself (the flowers, path designs, clothes etc.) and take it one day at a time without speeding through it. I'm hoping taking it day by day will help me relax a bit and teach me to take each day slowly irl, too.

It's definitely not curing the mental state I've been in, but it's helped me a lot with calming myself down during breakdowns, panic attacks, serious boughts of deep depression, and just general spiraling. It's truly been a godsend, this game ❤️‍🩹 that's why I want to share the paths and water way I made today 🙂

If you see more Animal Crossing doodles from me lately for a bit, it's definitely because this game means the world to me, and i love doodling it ❤️‍🩹

Always remember there are people who rely on machines to copy our work and what we do because they don't have the drive you do. you create something unique with your hands and creativity, that came from you imagination and you were able to translate it into a artistic expression outside of what you thought up! That's incredible and you should be so proud of yourself. You make magic happen! 💕

Cinna, my hammy! She's been with me for about a year, and I got her so many new goodies!

She went thru her sprays, but I got her more (flax, millet), cork texture enrichment, a platform for her wheel so she doesn't keep covering it in bedding, a new sand bath to go on top of her 3 chamber hammy home so once again she doesn't put her bedding on it lol, and some moss for texture enrichment too!

I am SO EXCITED to do up her 40 gallon tank even more than before! 🥹🩷 It's what she deserves...she's such a sweetheart!
