The ladies took their large chunk of change from chance cards, album sales, concert earnings, etc, sold their shack, and moved to Widespot! Daisy hired Crystal Mann's architecture firm to build this manor across from the Harts. Dot is still somewhat bitter that she didn't get to Hart manor in the divorce, so this home is somewhat inspired by it. Though I'm not able to furnish it as lavishly as I'd like.
Helen also gives birth to a healthy baby boy! Then proceeds to cough and run to the bathroom. Everyone has the flu.

StrangeSpot, Round Thirty Two: Smith
Poor Virginia's still navigating the grieving process of losing Bondi when Jill moves in.
Jill: "I know I cheated on your brother with a college kid, but we're still good, right, fave sister-in-law?"
Virginia: *sobs even harder*
Jewel: "Why is she even here?!"
Apparently, to form a cool hat club with the other gals of the house.
Brighton: "Oh, so I'm not good enough for a cool hat?"
JoAnn: "Let me have this kid, my husband got pancaked by a satellite last week."
Brighton's also grieving for his big brother and can't find a good way to deal with it, other than repeatedly kicking over the trash can and inviting vermin to descend on the Beech beach huts. Now everyone is suffering from on-again off-again flu. Should've let him have a cool hat, y'all...

Refreshing StrangeSpot, WIP: now with a skyline and a skybox!
Due to story events (and me being heavily inspired by @andrevasims' Pretersolaria Institute, which has replaced the now abandoned La Fiesta Tech as the university), most of the citizens have gone into a panic, fled their old homes, and built anew.
This is @chrisnewbie's Dust Vale that I'm currently building a cabin on, but good news for the family living here: the outdoor plumbing is now installed! They can shower in relative privacy (with a well-placed screen and some ivy) with a view (of dry crops). It's truly a dustland fairytale to behold.

Andy learns that Nikola went on a dream date with his daughter and calls him to invite him out for bowling. I always think this is sweet, when parents learn their kid has a new sweetheart and decide they want to meet them. It's the kind of thing that real humans do, although Andy weirdly invited a bunch of his college friends who did a lot of embarrassing pda. Though Nikola was pretty excited to meet three members of the Printer Sisters, and got their autographs.

Hugh and Crystal want another baby, and she is pregnant again! I make sure to take good care of her this time. She spends long hours resting in bed, taking baths, and eating lots of comfort soup.
Unfortunately, Cliff dies of old age out of the blue. I wasn't expecting this, and everyone is deeply heartbroken.

Cassia has aged up to a toddler! Cliff starts working with her on her skills and Delta whips up some comfort soup, since everyone has the sniffles from working at the pharmacy with all the sick sims.
Nellie has been very flirty and she ends up autonomously booty calling Hi. She doesn't get pregnant thankfully, that man has more than enough offspring already. I really need to find her actual true love so she stops trying to call over romance sims and her ex.

JoAnn and Tycho are still doing well. It turns out that having the lead guitarist of the Printer Sisters giving private concerts at his political dinners makes him quite popular amongst the social elite of Strangespot.
George has aged up to an adult. He didn't roll the want to go to college. He got fired from his music career but now he has a job in a realtor's office. He is helping his parents search for a new house in the enclave, now that they are making so much money from JoAnn's album sales.

Poor Scot finally falls in love with Amber and has one last woohoo with her before Grim comes by to pick him up. RIP Scot you were so wholesome. You deserved better.
Josie came over and I assumed it was to visit her son, but.. yeah. I guess they still want to be casual woohoo partners even though their marriage didn't work out. Now they can enjoy each other's company and Josie can happily catch Jihoons in the other room without having to worry about getting caught.

Josie actually contacts Ripp and he agrees to let her move back in. She is still best friends with Andromeda, so she is glad to be able to live there again. Francesca and Kitty move to college, Josie moves out, and River welcomes a new addition to his household. He wanted to have another child and since things didn't work with Josie, he has decided to adopt David.
The two new brothers get along pretty well, and decide to head down to the game room since David wants to have his very first kiss. He gets hopelessly rejected by his ex girlfriend Tina, and Diego has a lot of fun winning simoleans in poker.

River and Scot are still doing well. Scot has two bolts with Josephine, though he is a wholesome family sim and would never try to seduce his brother's wife. Josephine might have other ideas though.
Francesca has been flirting with Dickie Beech, and they like to play chess together while he cheats shamelessly.
