What about an AU where Yoichi and AFO's quirks are swapped?
1- Yoichi, tiny little twin he is, starved, is so hungry that the second he's born, he clings and tries for food as the twins are raised to suckle- instead, he pulls the spike quirk into his body, and chokes on it. the spikes pierce the nursing new mother, and that with the injury of childbirth means this will be the first and last time the twins have milk.
2- The spikes poke AfO's hands when he grabs the baby, but Yochi's too tired and worn out to hurt him as much. Later, he'll learn to keep from hurting his brother, even as AfO ignores it, carrying Yoichi around like a weapon. Throw spiky brother at prey/intruders/attackers, then collect him when he's done. Yoichi is an attack dog- part pet, part tool. Except he's not good at following orders, his first words being "stop" and "no", so AfO just kinda shoves him where he wants him. Still, Yoichi doesn't leave.
3- As Yoichi is AfO's weapon, he is not left in different shelters while AfO goes out alone- he's never given the opportunity for privacy, or reading comics. Still, AfO finds out that Yoichi does not like *anyone* attacking others, not just him- he'll yell at strange grown ups to stop too, just like he does AfO. AfO wishes he would just attack first and stop trying to use words or tears that don't work- but then Yoichi takes another power and makes the attacker run away, and well... yeah, he can allow that.
4- When Yoichi falls ill, he cannot go out to fight or steal powers. AfO tries to tell him to anyway, and Yoichi gets annoyed and tells him to 'do it himself if he wants to badly enough', shoving the spike quirk into him- passing on a quirk for the first time. AfO is delighted, and tries to shake out more quirks, but Yoichi passed out from the effort, and refuses to when he wakes up- he even tries to take the spike quirk back, but finds that he can't. AfO gets more demanding, trying anything for more, bargaining, then threatening. Yoichi can't fight back without seriously hurting him, and he doesn't want to- so he finally shoves a bunch of quirks into his older brother and runs while he adjusts to the feeling.
5- AfO becomes a multi powered fiend, feared, while Yoichi vanishes, laying low and staying on the move, taking quirks from those who misuse them- when he thinks the word won't get back to his brother who still hunts him. One day, Yoichi's hideout is broken into by two vigilantes who want him to neutralize AfO. Yoichi explains he can't, his power can't take any back from his twin, and he tried. After some conferring, the two take Yoichi back to their group to figure out how he can be used to help, in exchange for safe keeping and food. A year later, the gambit seems to have worked- Kudo and his second-in-command stumble back to the base, the rest of the multi-quirk soldiers dead in the successful attempt to kill AfO. But that's when they realize the stress of multiple quirks in one brain, and Yoichi tries to take all their powers back to heal them. It doesn't work. The attack was their entire plan- the whole base is empty now, and everyone who left dead. Just Yoichi, and the youngest recruit Hikage who stayed behind as an alarm/guard, remain. Finally truly broken, Yoichi goes to Hikage and passes on every quirk, including the all-for-one quirk, then dies. Hikage flees into the woods. (Unbeknownst to him, so does Yoichi's brother's successor, Gigantomachia.)

How about an AU where all the OFA holders (except for Yoichi and Toshinori) had mutation quirks and they started manifesting after during the entrance exam.
The mutations started coming in immediately, but it wasn't noticeable yet. Midoriya assumed the strange sensations were just nerves. This is important because the mutations both improve Midoriya's musculature and help channel One For All. As such he naturally had somewhere between 3%-4% Full Cowling at the exam.
With the adrenaline, Midoriya didn't notice as the changes progressed to be noticeable, stepping out of his shoes with hooved feet without realizing his posture had changed. Instinctively slamming a tail into a robot without processing the new limb. Clawing clean through robots and thinking it was his strength. Not noticing the large insect wings he grew because he thought he leapt like how All Might does.
Uraraka is the one to point out to him what happened after she helps him land with the new wings and innocently comments on watching them come in, assuming that's a normal thing. Midoriya blinked at her a few times, finally saw what had become of his body, and freaked the fuck out.
Inko did not buy the explanation about how Midoriya spontaneously developed this chimeric mash-up as a Quirk and had to have One For All explained to her. Luckily, All Might would recognize those wings anywhere, and had heard of En's Quirk from Shimura, so he figured out what happened.
Midoriya is placed in a Quirk Support Group for the sudden changes in his body. Ippan Josei is a part of the group, as is Toga, who is doing slightly better thanks to being in the group. Tsunotori is also a member of the group in part due to the culture clash between America and Japan, and she ends up another close friend of his at UA.
+1. All of these Quirks have been improved by One For All, so the mutations he gets is not one-to-one with what his predecessors had. From Second, he got ram hooves and horns. From Third, he got scutes/scales. From Shinomori, he got wolf fur, ears and a snout. from Banjo, he got panther paws. From En, he got a shark tail, as well as shark teeth, and his muzzle was slightly adjusted to be more sharklike. Finally, from Shimura, he got moth wings, antennae and fluff around his neck. (This has nothing to do with you, StarredMoth, I just think moths are neat)
+2. Mutations like these when combined with One For All result in some physical growth. More specifically, while Midoriya is still lean muscle compared to All Might, he's even more jacked than in canon.

For the ask game, AU where during the mall incident Izuku panics and attacks Shigaraki, accidentally killing him.
1- Shigaraki moves to grab Izuku's throat, and Izuku full cowls in an instant, throwing him back. Shigaraki crashes into the wall on the other side of the mall hall, and the rubble around one hand starts to disintegrate before it stops. Because he is dead.
2- Izuku stares and the rest of the mall goes into a panic, fleeing and screaming. Uraraka hurries to him, but he doesn't know what to say. She calls over a few other class members as the police show up and the mall is officially evacuated.
3- Iida, taking control, has Izuku can Inko, and then Jiro chimes in to call All Might too, after, even if he's not sure what to say. When the police show up, Uraraka says "sooo that's Shigaraki of the league of villains, he attacked Deku but was... Beaten..."
Shigaraki does have a dead hand in his pocket, and his own hand sits in a pile of dust, and his appearance sure matches what they were told, and the students all know it's him- but it's not exactly official yet either
4- Izuku is taken to the station, and though many students ask they aren't allowed with him, instead left to give statements while the EMTs handle things. Tsukauchi takes over as soon as Izuku is in the room, calling All Might, then Eraser, to get all the info, and Izuku is telling the truth that Shigaraki clearly identified himself. It all seems to line up... But if it's a trick somehow, they don't want to assume false safety, and if it isn't, others won't be so glad he took down Shigaraki like how he took down Stain.
5- All Might gets there just before the HPSC does, as in about two minutes before, and tells Izuku he'll handle it. There's yelling outside, and Izuku asks Tsukauchi if it's ok. Tsukauchi shrugs, "well he got away with killing AfO... We thought. Mostly. Look, Midoriya, leave that part to him, we'll just have to see what the League does now reacting to this."

What about an AU where Manual replaces Aizawa as the 1-A homeroom teacher?
Oh boy we can fit SO MUCH projection into this one
1- Manual only applied to UA because he was applying a bunch of hero schools, and he didn't think he'd get UA but why not try, at worst it's extra interview practice before he really tries at Ketsubutsu. And then he got only got a job at UA and no other school, somehow. And he can't technically complain because UA pays the best and it's a job he signed up for, but how???
2. He also didn't apply as a homeroom teacher, but they offered it to him anyway and he uh doesn't really say no. He figured he could change positions after a few years already if he wanted to, and planned on it, but then realized he liked this position much better and so kept it instead
3. Actually you know what sure all the projection. His third year he ended up being freshman homeroom team lead, which he's pretty sure isn't supposed to happen- Vlad had more experience but said he wanted a break this year from it and no one else applied so....
4. His third year is also when he gets our beloved class 1A! They do not get expulsion threats, and go to orientation. Then Manual tells them they have an essay due at the end of the week, about why they want to be heroes and what their current plan is, to be completed before any combat training. Several students pitch a fit about writing when they want to learn how to fight, but Manual points out that as part of their training, they'll have to do a lot of unpleasant things. Will they put effort into the record keeping they need to learn as pros if they aren't willing to write a paper? Will they be able to communicate in team exercises if they can't even put what they want as a hero into words? How patient can they be for slow moving cases? The class can see his point even if it's not exciting.
The second day of school, two students hand him papers. Bakugou asks if he can start fight training sooner now since he did the whole dumb essay. Midoriya asks him to look over the first draft if he doesn't mind, because he just had a lot of ideas where to take it and wants it to be really good.
By the start of homeroom the second day, these two are no longer sitting in desks right by each other.
5. On the fourth day of school, while Manual has his class looking over their costumes and getting peer feedback, he realizes that Vlad usually would be sending bragging pictures of his class in rescue training right about now, to see if Manual could get his kids to beat them next week when they went to USJ. He sends a message. It doesn't go through.
He thinks "huh, that's weird" right before robot sentry alarms go off about vines erupting from USJ's roof and throwing students out frantically. Manual grabs the closest non combat adult in the hall to watch his class and runs to help figure out what's going on.

Inspired by the 'Tenya is All mights son', what about an AU where Shouto is a result of Rei having an affair with All might? For maximum drama Shouto still has half hot half cold.
1- "where the hell did the hot half come from" Toshinori's mother had a fire quirk. He got his quirklessness from his father. The fire skips generations but everyone is hot I guess. Maybe that's why Toshi's vestiges is flame-y.
2- Shoto is born with a mess of white and golden hair, like a little candle flame. One blue eye and one grey, and Enji would never suspect his wife cheated on him... Surely this kid will just have a mild fire that hopefully won't be too much for an icy constitution. This is Rei's fourth child. It seems all attempts have failed. Enji withdraws to work. Touya's half mad that his little brothers were too useless to get their father's attention back where he was, half glad that they've all be thrown aside.
And then Shoto turns four, and he doesn't just hold a warm flame in one hand, but a sharp icicle in the other. His blue eye seems to glow when he's alight, and there's clear power in the quirk. After a few days of trying, Enji actually comes out of the office to see what his youngest is trying to show him, and is almost afraid to believe what he sees. He doesn't want to wake up from the dream he had all but abandoned, and he's cautious, careful with training... at first.
3- Shoto, who's already bonded with his siblings, does not like to be pulled away from them now that he's not useless anymore, and he will say so loudly and at great length. It shames Enji... At first. Rei does her best but has long since realized who her son's father is. That there was any fire at all baffled her, but she can't reach back out and ask All Might. She can't even stand to see the heroes face on the news, or on the toys Shoto asks for. Her children assume her hatred grew with Enji's actions about his own. The pressure builds. Touya almost kills himself and Shoto in training one day when Enji is at work, and Rei is injured trying to stop them. At the hospital, she has a breakdown about how she hesitated, how she thought about if the house burned down there'd be nothing left of her children, no evidence of her own or of Enji's wrongdoings. Touya and Shoto return from the hospital. Rei does not. A nurse looks at Shoto's blood type, and then Touya's, and says nothing.
4- Training slows again, at first. Until Touya leaves, eighteen and burning up, and takes Natsuo with him. (Natsuo insisted. He already finished middle school, who cared more than that. Fuyumi can take care of Shoto, but none of them should be left alone, like Mom) Then Shoto continues training, refusing to use his fire. Fuyumi, her mother's secret keeper, who only knows because Rei wasn't seeing her when she spoke, burns to tell her brother the truth. But she can't. She waits, and when Shoto gets into UA and the news breaks that All Might will be teaching there, she nearly collapses.
5- so does Toshinori ever figure out that beautiful woman was in fact Endeavor's wife- yeah actually he did, Rei told him the morning after that she was married and apologized profusely then vanished, and he saw her a few years later on his arm at an event. He has said nothing but assumes this is the reason Enji hates him. He doesn't realize until the SF that Enji believes Shoto to be his son, even with the blond hair, and wonders if that's because of the fire but then realizes that Enji truly knows nothing. So, after the SF, Toshi decides the first person who deserves to know the truth is Shoto and pulls him aside, telling him that once, about sixteen or seventeen years ago, he knew a woman who turned it to be married- Shoto interrupts and asks if that's Izuku's mother, and if Izuku told All Might that he was on to him. Toshi, confused, says no- it's another student. He explains more. Shoto is in shock. He leaves school in the middle of the day and goes to the hospital to see his mother for the first time in years. The only thing he can ask is why she didn't tell him. He doesn't leave until visiting hours are over, the hospital staff called Fuyumi to come pull him from his mother's arms because they can't.

Not sure if you've done this before but what about an AU where Manual gets OFA?
Keep putting this poor normal man in Situations
1- Masaki is putting out fires in the wreckage AfO and All Might cause in their first flight when he finds All Might's heavily damaged body, and does what he can to keep his blood in his body. All Might, barely conscious, passes on OfA but does not explain. By the time he awakes in the hospital, he has forgotten that he did it at all, and attributes the weakening levels of OfA to his injury.
2- Masaki, of course, also has no idea. And since he doesn't have any reason at all ever to use super strength, he never tries and never breaks any bones activating OfA. Instead the quirk simmers in his body, slowly strengthening his original quirk. It gets stronger a little at a time as Masaki adds drops to the stockpile.
3- Years later, this means his ranking and power are higher, though he's still no top ten. When the Sky Egg Party is attacked, Tensei gives him a different job- use his quirk to keep the building balanced by moving the water in the plumbing around until reinforcement can arrive, and lighten Captain Celebrity's load. So, he's in a different place when the bomber proto nomu attack, and more under heavier fire. So when he acts on instinct and kicks a proto nomu back, OfA activates and sends the bomber to the ground, breaking Masaki's leg in the process. He would have fallen had Tsukauchi not called for All Might to catch the building and everyone else.
4- speaking of Tsukauchi, he's one of the only three people who saw what happened- also Masaki himself, and Eraser. However, Tsukauchi and Eraser were a bit distracted, and so it takes a minute to put it together. Eraser picks up Masaki to help him to an EMT while Tsukauchi goes to hide Toshinori, who's out of time. But Masaki looks over and is like "uh I think that guy needs your help more than me". When Tsukauchi gives Toshinori a jacket to cover up, Masaki sees the injury, and puts the pieces together. Eraser is doing some of that too, realizing that no hysterical strength is going to take down one of those monsters, and worried that the villain factory made some sort of contagious strength that Masaki caught. So he brings him over to Tsukauchi for a statement. Masaki doesn't want to impose, so he tells Tsukauchi not to worry about him, he'll be fine, he needs to take care of that civilian he found." Tsukauchi realizes that last part is a lie- but that means Masaki knows AM's identity, plus the quirk weirdness, very sus. He takes both Masaki and Toshi, and sends Eraser away.
5- a very confusing conversation ensues, with everyone realizing what happened. Toshi almost cries at the fact that he had a successor all along and no one knew. Instead, he laughs softly and imagines Sir's reaction. He calls in a favor to get Masaki's leg healed quickly by RG. Masaki offers to return OfA, but Toshi thinks it might kill his body to take it all back now. He invites Masaki to train at Might Tower, if he wants, but he doesn't need to- AfO is dead, after all, he can live a normal life as he wants. Masaki squints, and asks a couple questions about the Villain Factory. "And... You think all that doesn't have anything to do with the AfO guy?" When Toshinori tells him how sure he is that AfO died in that fight, Masaki just frowns and tells him: "All Might, when I got down there, there wasn't another body."
A heavy silence falls over them. Masaki accepts the invitation to train, and is there often- though, to Toshinori's surprise, he seems to care about Yagi as much as he does All Might, if not more.

Your Todokid parent swap made me ship Enji/Mitsuki-probably a very passionate one, but still a lot of less then ideal dynamics.
And yes, I did target Touya and Bakugo because I was curious to see what they would be like under two really aggressive people as parents instead one apiece.
I don't really ship anyone with Enji but I have to admit, he and Mitsuki do have the draw of like... Those reddit comments that are like "never break up and never subject anyone else to you". I guess if I had to pick anyone she might just be my top pick.
But yeah, and Touya and Katsuki would be... Like, I think if they were closer in age, it might be fine, or much further in age they didn't have to interact, but at a seven year age gap they're at just the right space to maximum annoy each other ESPECIALLY with how rarely either of them get told no about things Except For Each Other. Plus with parent input, which is basically "has toxic expectations of strength for self and claims not to have the same for you but that just reads as extremely condescending" on one side and on the other uh... Starredmoth said it great:
Tumblr media
This family has three modes of communication and it's yelling, setting things on fire, or doing both at the same time. Absolute disaster.
