Ardyn lives in my brain rent-free, and I am physically ill if I look at him too long. It's been four years. Y e a r s. #i love this man with my whole heart and soul #anyways fun fact the ardyn dlc made me cry 3 times lmaooo #square enix didnt have to break my heart like that with him but they did #ffxv was my first final fantasy game #i actually was playing dragon age in the same room as my fiance when he was playing ffxv for the first time #so i was kinda half paying attention sometimes; id hear some lines and such #i need yall to know i heard ardyn speak but didnt see him so i was like 'oh okay well noctis called him a creepy old dude' #so im gonna picture an alfred looking guy #imagine my SURPRISE when i look over in AWE when watching the Leviathan battle #and see Ardyn and go OH NO HES HOT #i was attracted to him immediately and then i was interested in his story and found him to be an incredibly engaging antagonist #and then somewhere along the line i went absolutely feral over him #and i still am to this day #when they say you'll always hold your first final fantasy in a special place in your heart #they werent kidding #yes i love the story and the characters and the theme of brotherhood and friendship and love and yes its my jam #but also *ardyn* is my constant state of brainrot so #i guess im stuck here forever lmao

FFXV React: Being at the Carnival with you Pt.1

Requested by: Anon Noctis: Shy AF when it comes to joining in the celebrations. (As everyone whose played the carnival knows) But through a lot of asking/whining/begging he'll eventually cave in to wearing either the t-shirt or mariachi outfit. You'll have to drag him to each game you want to play, or mascot you want to dance with - yeah he'll probably complain but deep down and visibly he'll be smiling like a kid on christmas day. He'd split carrying any prizes between the two of you, and will even give you some of his coins if your short of the prize you wanted. At the end of the night while viewing the fireworks display he'd look at you - quietly and smiling ever so happily. "Hey, let's promise to do this again next year. Alright?" (Hear that? Thats the sound of my heart breaking cus ooooh the ending-!!!) Prompto: Y'know how kids tend to be up hella up earlier than their parents on christmas, or any exciting day they look foreword to? Prompto is that times a 1,000! He'll be up before the sun is even up, already dressed to the nines! Oh and he has your outfit ready too and the day's activities all mapped out. From time slots to what route will take you faster to said events, Prompto is ready for some serious fun! Better nab some of Iggy's ebony cus you'll need it with how much Prompto has in store for ya - so many freakin pictures for one, the camera might as well be superglued to his hand. The only resting is between getting from point A to B, to after winning a prize. Speaking of prizes, he'll try to win at everything and even if he doesnt, all that matters is that you're both having fun. But he'll be hellbent to win you a prize you really have your eye on! You'll eventually have to bring him back down to earth and make sure he takes a breather. At the fireworks show the excitment will eventually ebb away, making him really tiered. You'd feel his head resting on your shoulder, heaving a long sigh and humming his little chocobo song. (You all know the one) "Wow, today felt like a dream...Best dream ever...Please don't wake me up ok?" Gladiolus: Oh he'd say he was too "old" for these kind of things, but judging by his grin far from it deary. Both outfits would be a little too tight on him, he'd wear the one that makes you blush harder. (Hey, mariachi pants give anyone a FINE ass 😎) Gladdy would win any prizes you wanted, and to show off to everyone watching. If you get tiered he'd GLADDY (ehheh) give you a piggy back ride, but his most preferred method would be carrying you on his shoulders. Yeah, he'd tease  a little (if ya know what I mean~) but most likely than not he'd give you a heart attack by running around everywhere really fast, and doing the same up and down stairs (would probably hop off a step or two before the end). He'd still have you on his shoulders to see the fireworks display, -if you didnt get the best seats in the house - if you did he'd likely have you on his lap, or at least an arm around you. "Damn, best day ever. Even better 'cus I spent it with you. Corney? Heh, like you don't like it?" Ignis: Ever prepared, Iggy would be ready for the adventures the proceeding day - though not to Promptos extent of a schedule. A bag full of a few essentials; bottles of water to stay hydrated, sunblock, mini first aid kit (dont leave home without one), wallets etc. As far as outfit choices go he wouldnt care what you chose for him, as long as it makes you happy that's all that matters. (And he looks mighty fine in whatever really) Ignis would be ever the gentlemen, he'd carry your prizes, your bag, and yes even carry you. Of course he'd make sure you don't overdo it. Oh, and he'd probably choke if you quote him as he's eating at the Square-Enix cafe. ("I've come up with a new recipeh~!") Once the fireworks roll around it'll be a tender moment. He'd quietly lace his fingers with yours, but would slowly wrap his hand around your waist drawing you closer. "I hope you enjoyed yourself today. I know I did, thank you for spending it with me."
