I just got home from seeing Spirited Away Live on Stage and I’m trying to find something

I don’t need a full rip of the entire play, just trying to find a clip, even just an audio-only recording, of that brief musical number when Kamaji got introduced. I really liked the song and wanted to listen to it again but I can’t find anything online rn.

Saw this on Wed at a Tinseltown movie theatre in Erie, PA when I went to see "Castle In The Sky" for Studio Ghibli Fest 2023 and loved it! Have you seen any of the films for Studio Ghibli Fest this year? This is my first year seeing any other Studio Ghibli films! Also, I'm pumped for FNAF this year! I have waited for 8 years and it's finally happening!

I have a lot of thoughts about this play and I want to write more, but in the interest of time I want to get the word out that the "Spirited Away" stage play is excellent. It is playing as a fathom event in theaters for the next two weeks, do go see it if you can. (Next showing is today, April 25th, go go go!)

I feel that if money and run time was no object that this is what Miyazaki would have wanted for his original film. This play is a work of love by people who know and love the source material. They have added to the original work in meaningful and moving ways. The stagecraft is clever, fun, and beautiful. Kanna Hashimoto is an amazing Chihiro, she understands all the little things that help her read as a child without ever resorting to being whiny. I'm going to see the other cast with Mone Kamishiraishi as Chihiri next week, so we'll see how she does, but if the director had any kind of meaningful influence on Kanna's performance I expect more of the same high-quality acting.

I have successfully seen all the movies shown for the Studio Ghibli Fest these past 10 months & it has been amazing!!! 3 of the movies were some I’ve never seen before & watching them on the big screen was truly extraordinary!!! Watching the wonderful films that I love in theater was unbelievable, with all the Studio Ghibli movies I’ve watched I have only seen 2 in theater, rewatching them all in there was truly a spectacular experience for me!!! As well as watching the Studio Ghibli movies I’ve never watched on a big screen was truly incredible!!! As always Studio Ghibli’s movies has amazing artwork & animation paired with beautiful soothing soundtrack!!! Spirited Away Live On Stage was magnificent!!! THE SINGING!!! THE DANCING!!! THE SWEET SWEET MUSIC!!! ALL OF IT WAS FLAWLESS!!! Seeing my FAVORITE MOVIE performed on stage with some of THE BEST of Japan’s actors was a remarkable experience!!! I CAN’T WAIT TO BUY THE DVD📀!!! Also after every movie there were scenes extracted from 10 Years With Hayao Miyazaki, a documentary all about Hayao Miyazaki & his team of artists & their beautiful hard work they put into their films!!! Together with those scenes we were also shown artwork for Hayao Miyazaki’s FINAL MOVIE!!! I also saw Kenshi Yonezu sing his new song 地球儀-Spinning Globe & him being interviewed about how he made this delightful song & sung it for Hayao Miyazaki himself!!! I’m so excited to see Hayao Miyazaki’s FINAL MOVE!!! It is sad know that a phenomenal artist such as Hayao Miyazaki will be retiring but I know that it’s better this way, he deserves to live out his golden years in peace☮️!!!
