Spencer was a different person around you. You don’t really know why, and you’ve tried many times to figure out such a question but so far, no luck.

Around everyone else, Spencer was the kinda nerdy but still relatively contained genius. He wasn’t really someone known for his silly behavior or for his lack of sophistication, but with you all bests were off. Spencer loved to annoy you and honestly? You weren’t sure if he was doing it on purpose. He just did it out of the blue, whether that be randomly pranks or silly phone calls. The tomfoolery has range but you never really got upset with him for it. Though you were sure if it were anyone else, you’d most definitely already have punched them in the face.

Today was just another day. Spencer tinfoil wrapped everything on your desk, which was not particularly troublesome but still inconvenient. You were clearly irritated but Spencer still gave you that goofy little smile that made your heart hurt. You ping the bridge of your nose as you walk in.

“You have way too much time on your hands,” you say a little exasperated, staring to pick things up off of your desk and unwrap. Spencer giggles, helping you unwrap stuff.

“Honestly, sad to see it go,” Spencer says, wiping away a fake tear. He was so annoying, but so endearing. You scoff in irritation.

“I’d do anything for you, despite how much you piss me off,” you say softly. Spencer suddenly tenses, which caused you to tense too. His playful persona totally disappeared.

“Anything for me?,” Spencer says softly. You roll your eyes continuing to unwrap.

“Yeah, I love you - jackass,” you say af it was obvious. Spencer gives you a shocked look and the amount it took for him to pause was too long for comfort. Spencer looks at you shocked.

“Did you really not know?,”

“N-no but I love you too,” Spencer spits out. You lean into to kiss him softly, pleasure with his answer. Something you’d been unsure of for so long, that kiss pure adrenaline.

“Good,”
