About the reverse strawhats AU!! I am absolutely in love with it, it's so interesting. I haven't read all the posts yet, but I got a question: what about Garp? In canon, he took a step back in marineford because Ace made the choice to become a pirate, and Ace accepted his coming execution. He didn't like it, but he respected his choice. (Stupid men and their stupid honor). But here, Luffy hasn't even set sail yet! He is still, technically, "innocent" of any crimes other than being his father's son! So how will Garp react to it?

I’m not here in the anime yet, so I can give a better answer later.

But my guess is Sengoku knew that there was no way Garp would let the World Government execute his youngest grandson. Especially when that grandson hadn’t committed any crimes (yet)

Luffy’s execution is so different than Ace’s. Everyone can tell this is wrong. This is a 17 year old with no record and they were going to kill him over his father’s crimes and the hat on his head (and maybe a devil fruit, there’s a lot of reasons for them to want the kid dead) and the public can’t wrap their heads around this.

But we are here for Garp.

I think Sengoku took one look at Luffy and the orders to execute him and knew he had to hide it from Garp of it would never happen.

I think Sengoku has sent him out on some mission in the East Blue. (Garp’s excited because maybe he’ll run into Luffy and convince him to be a Marine before he does anything to illegal, he doesn’t know he’s already locked up in a cell in level seven of Impel Down. This also allows him to pick up Kolby)

I don’t think Garp knows. I don’t think he finds out until the televised execution starts and he’s in one of the blues and knows he can’t get there in time to stop it.

I think this might be what finally shatters the old man’s faith in the Marines. Because how could his friend hide this from him? Who could his co-worker murder his grandson for no reason other than the blood in his veins?

I don’t know if he’d leave the Marines.

If he’d retire

I can’t see him joining Dragon no matter how hurt he is, I can’t see him taking that hard of a turn

I can’t see him as a pirate

Maybe as a liberator. Going to places he knows tha marines are doing wrong and trying to stop them but not fully joking the rebel cause.

Or maybe he just leaves a floats around teaching his brand of justice to the next generation and causing problems for everyone, the government, the revolutionaries, and pirates.

I will have to wait until I see this part in the show. But the circumstances are so different. And Luffy isn’t a criminal yet. So I can’t see him being able to justify his death in any way. And I can’t see him being idol in it or complicit.

I think he has to be removed from play somehow m. I just don’t know what will be the reaction besides overwhelming sadness and grief.

Sorry I don’t have a more detailed answer. Once I get here in the show I’ll take this again.

Dusk and Titch are friends!?

It was Jack the jester's birthday yesterday! Brother of invidia and son of Lord Zapza, we wish him a very happy birthday. Now, as my associate mentioned in a previous post: Dusk and Titch have been at eachothers throats since the BEGINNING- thankfully, due to the word of DUSK X JACK getting out, Titch and Dusk had a one on one talk in which they've been honest and caring towards eachother!? SHOCKING: TITCH SAYS SOMETHING NICE AND GENUINE.

Dusk: "Thank you.. so.. what exactly is your problem with me?.. there has to be something I can do to not anger you so much!"

Titch: "It's just....it feels like you get special treatment...like everyone treats you like a helpless baby that can do no wrong....I know that it's not true but.....this....upset me so much"

The Ethan vs Spirit phone debate

It was heavily argued wether Ethan or the spirit phone gang would win in a fight- setting the scene: its a boxing ring. No weapons, no hand to hand combat. Even if Pickles is a murderous spirit, Ethan has memorised banishing spells so that's all 3 ghosts out the picture immediately. Arabella is out of the picture too- it'd be a pretty miserable fight, Arabella vs Ethan.

Ethan vs Kolby: if Ethan had prep time beforehand and a weapon he would win but I'm pretty sure in terms of hand-to-hand in a boxing ring Kolby takes the crown, Void declared it a draw.

Ethan vs Pip? Imagine this: feisty crows in a trenchant vs mortal boy. Its a pretty even matmating you ask me- the winner was never declared and personally even I can't decide!

Nyuchi: Legend of the Bee Girl storybook

In the town of Pendleston, people began to tell a strange tale. Some swore it was a true story, while others said it never could have happened. But this story is best told from another point of view...

It was a sunny day in the forest where the giant giga bugs lived. Erlea the giga honeybee was foraging for nectar to make honey, when suddenly she heard a strange sound. Curious, she followed it into a human's cabin.

There, she found a human baby all alone. Erlea had never seen one up close before. But she felt sorry for the baby girl. "She'll never survive without a family." she thought.

As she came to a decision...

ROAR!

It was Rookh the manticore! Erlea flew to the rescue of the helpless babe. She defeated Rookh with her trusty stinger.

Erlea brought the baby to her hive in the nearby mountain. "It looks freaky," the other bees said. "But it's kinda cute!"

"You will be one of us," Queen Maumachi said to the smiling child. "and your name will be Nyuchi."

Seven years passed. Nyuchi learned many things from the bees. Sometimes she got into trouble.

One day Nyuchi brought a bee fly to the hive. "Can we keep her?" she asked.

"Bee flies aren't allowed here." Erlea scolded. So Nyuchi and Bombi the bee fly became friends, though Bombi never entered the hive.

The next day, three human boys snuck into the hive. "There's gotta be some honey around here somewhere." Kolby said to his friends.

Nyuchi saw them enter. She had never seen creatures just like her before. She decided to take a closer look. As she crept closer, she made a little noise.

The boys saw her then. Before they could ask what she was doing there, Erlea entered. Seeing the humans, she lunged at them to protect Nyuchi. The boys fled.

"Why did they look like me?" Nyuchi asked. Erlea told her how she found the girl as a baby. "One day, you'll have to return to the humans." she told Nyuchi.

But Nyuchi wanted to stay in the hive. "I promise I'll be the best bee ever!" she cried.

Years went by. The bees began to swarm to find a new place to make their hive. "I'm joining the search," Erlea said to Nyuchi. "You just stay put."

But Nyuchi grew impatient. "I'm gonna go find us a new home!" she decided. Off she went with Bombi.

Along the way, they came across some human hikers. "Is that the bee girl?" one of them said. They had heard stories of a young girl living with the bees. They came closer to investigate.

Nyuchi was afraid. She flew away on Bombi, but fell off!

Lost and alone, Nyuchi curled up under a tree to rest.

At the same time, Kolby was hiking the trails, too. He found Nyuchi fast asleep in the shade, and recognized her. "The bee girl!" he thought. He carried her all the way back to Pendleston.

Meanwhile, Erlea was worried. The bees had found their new hive, but Nyuchi was gone! "She's out there on her own!" cried Bombi. Together with Zogii the bee, they flew off to search for her.

In Pendleston, Nyuchi awoke in Kolby's house. She ran away from him but got stuck in his fence. "Are you okay?" asked a boy named Sergio. He and Kolby helped her get free.

"I gotta get back to the swarm!" Nyuchi said. "The swarm?" Sergio realized. "You're the bee girl?" Eventually they became friends.

Sergio decided to become Nyuchi's teacher. Nyuchi was amazed at the wonders of the human world, sharing hers with Sergio.

"We have got to show her to the mayor!" Kolby told Sergio. So they went to the mayor's house. "Extraordinary!" the mayor marveled. "We must celebrate the bee girl's discovery!"

Thus, a party was held in Nyuchi's honor. But Nyuchi couldn't help but feel sad. She missed her bee friends in the hive.

Meanwhile, Sergio and Kolby encountered Zogii. "The new hive's in Dolei Crag," he told the boys. "We'll bring Nyuchi there in the morning!"

However, the mayor's treasurer, Matias Leach, had plans for the bees. "If the bee girl wants to go home, I can help." He said to Sergio and Kolby. Sergio was suspicious, but Kolby was completely fooled. He told Leach where to find the new hive.

Leach planned to capture the queen bee and put the bees to work making honey. But he needed Nyuchi out of the way. So he had Warren Castaneda, the circus ringmaster, send his men to abduct her.

As Nyuchi and the others set out for the bee's new home, the men grabbed her and put her in a big sack. Before her friends could stop them, they escaped back to the circus.

Sergio, Kolby and Zogii explained everything to Erlea and Bombi. They all raced after the circus to save Nyuchi.

Bound in the sack, Nyuchi listened to what her captors were saying. "We got a good deal," said one circus worker to the other. "We got the bee girl, and Leach's got the bees!"

Luckily for Nyuchi, she had a friend in another captive. "I wanna get outta here just as bad as you." said Anax the giga dragonfly. He chewed through the sack, freeing the girl. But the circus workers caught them in the act!

As Anax flew off to get help, Nyuchi tried to make her escape, but was cornered. Just then, Anax returned --- with Nyuchi's friends in tow! Together, they destroyed the circus and freed the animals.

Nyuchi and Erlea were very happy to be reunited! But they couldn't celebrate now. "We have to save my family!" Nyuchi exclaimed, and Erlea flew her back to the hive.

Leach and his thugs were there, fighting the bees. In the nick of time, Nyuchi and Erlea arrived to help. So did their friends and the other giga bugs!

But just as Nyuchi was freeing Queen Maumachi, Leach aimed his gun at her! Erlea bravely rushed to protect the girl.

BANG!

Erlea was shot in the wing. Then Leach broke off her stinger!

But Bombi courageously swooped down on him. Quickly, she swiped the stinger and tossed it to Nyuchi. As Leach tried to flee, Nyuchi flung the stinger at him. It hit Leach dead on!

Meanwhile, Erlea was fading fast. Nyuchi held the giant bee in her arms. "I'm so sorry!" the girl cried.

"Go to the humans," Erlea gasped. "It's time for you to stop hiding from the life you need..."

Although Nyuchi loved her bee family, she knew in her heart that the human world was her home now. Sadly, she said goodbye to the hive. "I'll miss you all." she said to Maumachi as they hugged each other.

Yet, somehow, she knew she would see her bee friends again very soon...

Sorry for the wait.

It's been a minute, huh?

After my last post, I tried opening the box myself, since I didn't have the key. Nothing worked, though. I even took it out back so I could smash it open with an axe. But even that failed… and now I need to buy a new axe…

So recently I've been searching for people who are more knowledgeable in this sort of thing. Most of them weren't that helpful, and just gave me information I already knew.

I did find this one guy, though. We met up, His name's Victor. He's been researching the Raven and our town's history for about a year, I think. So he's going to be my main source of information if I need it.

He says the Raven is very strict, and only wants people to learn in his way, with his teaching methods being very… convoluted. Based on how the Raven's acting towards me, I'm not his main target, but I do play a part in someone's lesson. Odd.

I forgot to mention this in my last post, but the box was covered in drawings, with those drawings resembling Kolbi's artstyle.

I'm still trying to figure things out. Why was the box there? Why did the Raven want me to find it? What does the Raven want for me?

Episode 14: "It's just us two, plus this extra vote."—Zee

In this round: Alex destroys the competition in Puzzle Paradise; Jack narrowly beats out Colin on Purgatory and comes back after tribal council; Zee plays another idol but ultimately doesn't need it (on brand); Champ dabs throughout tribal council; the newly formed 28 and Up alliance splits their votes in case Zee has an idol; and they would have gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for those meddling kids and their Banked Vote

Okay, well the back-up plan still worked! Props to Jack for going down swinging and for making it until that last tribal before ever receiving a vote. And props to Champ for reading the way the votes were headed. So Trin is talking jury management and I'll be honest: Kaleigh and Michael are both playing bigger games than me, when I think on it. Michael has had 2 big moves so far and the girls are at least still talking to Kaleigh, but they've fully stopped talking to me. Steven sent his advantage to Kaleigh, Astyn would probably vote Michael as an original Calypso unless they were still upset that he's the one who went home over them, and I'm not gonna get Kolby's vote cause he think I flipped on Soca (props to Zee for that gotta admit). I burned Eman at least once at this point, with stealing their half of the extra vote, though to be fair, that was only a last resort after Zee stole Michael's. Jack I could maybe get but he reached out to me specifically about the Eman move which we ended up not doing so he could easily be feeling burned by that, but realistically he's probably just more impressed with Michael's/Kaleigh's game over mine. Tony would vote Michael. Steven and Colin are the only ones that really feel up in the air but they're also probably impressed by Michael's moves. I am. Even if the girls don't want to vote Kaleigh they'd probably vote Michael over me. There's still a lot of game to go, though, and I don't want to get ahead of myself. But I don't see how I win unless I'm in the finale with other people and tbh that's not a Final 3 I want to be in!! This is all for fun (and stress) and Michael and Kaleigh are the ones I had the most fun with so obviously if I can't win, I want one of them to! I Sorry I'm bad at wordle and choose your own adventures so I never found an idol, I guess? I can make the case that my game was always more social and that I was always willing to be flexible until someone made it clear they were no longer interested in working with me, but at a certain point, all y'all made it clear you didn't want to! If I keep offering I either look a fool or desperate. Again, this is getting aaaahead of myself and damn I would love to get immunity at least once for both security and a little bragging rights, but we'll see what happens. Even if I am kind of the goat out of the three of us, I can't NOT hope that our 3-person minority could make it to the end together after all this.

sigh this game is rly something huh??? colin and jack are in purgatory, we are at final six, and colin is presumably coming back today. zee lost her vote last round so i’m guessing colin did that LOL wonderful. who will go home tonight? i do not know. i need to go to the grocery store for pesto and tinned fish. so. we have champ and zee, obviously a tight pair, and then me, alex, michael, and tony. champ and zee are SCRRAAAAAMBLING! i do feel zee has an idol, but that might j be bananas. but i do feel it. she is RELENTLESS. now saying she’s down to flip on champ. my god. maybe we will try to make it seem like it’s gonna be champ in the hopes that zee will feel safe enough to not play her idol (if she has one) and then j vote for zee. i still have my steal a vote and my idol. idk what’s gonna happen tonight. alex won the puzzle challenge and did insanely well, good for u alex!!! like damn!!! everyone has been kinda offline for the past couple days, it feels like we are j all burnt out - we have been playing for 33 days and i’m just zzzzzz tired. we’ll see what’s in store tonight. also i started reading a good book it’s called the indifferent stars above :)

So we lost Jack last tribal after Tony flipped, another hot girl, gone with the wind. This is very much not ideal, however I did expect it. Tony and Michael are Ride or Dies, I’ve been saying this since we hit the merge. Michael and Tony refuse to vote each other, so when Tony suggested Michael last tribal I had a bad feeling, especially with Eman gone, Tony had no reason to align with us anymore. But I banked my vote in the hopes that things would go well, and as a bit of security in case they didn’t. Currently there’s six of us left, Champ and I have been playing from the bottom/in the hot seat ever since the Raffy vote out, and since then our numbers have been quickly dwindling from flips and vote outs. It’s just us two, plus this extra vote. Problem is, I don’t want to use my idol, because if I use my idol and Champ goes home, then I’m idolless, and I was planning to use this to idol myself into final four. Our only hope right now is to pull one or two people from the other side onto our side.

Last night I said to Kaleigh like, what is going to happen once they finally vote the rest of us out? They’ll have to turn on each other. I should probably say more about that today too tbh. Like, she’s the only girl, and if Jack comes back that means they’ll have to turn inward at final four, and if not, they’ll have to turn inward at final five if Colin is the one to come back. Tony and Michael would bring each other without a doubt, so it would be her or Alex battling it out in final four, or Alex would vote with the majority in final five, adding Kaleigh to the Jury. All she replied last night was “oh I’ll have to think about it. I want to see the challenge results.” which roughly translates to “Oh I won’t be voting with you, I just want to see if either of you win the challenge so we know who to pick.” Kaleigh also said last night that she “wasn’t willing to go to rocks” if it was a 3-3 vote, so I suggested she bring in Alex and we vote Tony or Michael, genuinely I don’t even care if it’s Tony at this point. I doubt she will but we’ll see.

Tony

The final countdown! I’ve obviously flipped over to the 28+ club and it’s been nice so far. I’m trying to go final 4 with Alex, Kaleigh, and Michael but tbh, would love to make it to final two with Michael but only time shall tell! I’m nervous if Jack returns as he knows I voted for him. I’m also nervous about Colin because I’m not sure if he’ll want to work with me.

Zee

Me and Champ really need to bust our asses off and pull some A-level gameplay in order to survive this tribal in the slim hopes that Jack comes back. I’m suggesting that we tell Tony that Alex and Kaleigh suggested either him or Michael for the tribal, and that they’re planning to blindside them, maybe even fabricate some messages that Kaleigh could have written. Tell them that since it’s only us two we genuinely don’t care anymore and just wanted to let them know. Then suggest that they Vote Kaleigh with us. I mean, I’ve been playing/trying to play a pretty honest game so far, but at this point it doesn’t really seem worth it if it means I get voted out. I really don’t want to waste my idol. Not after last time. Also there’s at least one other idol out there that somebody else found, and it could be Alex or Kaleigh since Alex said that stupid chicken phrase. If we can scatter their votes, then we can have the power in numbers with our three votes. And we could finally get Michael out, OR, vote Kaleigh, but I don’t really want to take that risk.

Last ditch efforts to flip me by zee and Champ are kind of wild, but it's survivor. Feel like I'm going home tonight, every night I don't go home from last tribal on is a win to me. They should really cut me. If they were smart they would cut me rn.

"What made you want to summon demons and ghost in the first place?"

Arabella: "It all started with my mother's death- coincidentally my mother was also big into the supernatural before she passed. I was so desperate to see her again, I took to the most extreme measures possible. I did séances and rituals so often, the whole ordeal became second nature and just developed as part of my personality. Sometimes I wonder what I would be like if I just moved on? these days, the summoning is really more to find lost souls who need help- I like to think once I've helped enough people I'll be rewarded. Contrary to popular belief, the deal making part of my work have the creatures best interests in mind- I promise to allow them to thrive. They help me, so I can help them."

"Helping lost souls. Is that what you mean by your work that you love so much?"

Arabella: "yep! Everyone always thinks of me and money-hungry and power crazy. and while I am a little- isn't everyone? The whole trying to take over the leeching castle idea would allow me to access the funds and resources I'd need to fulfill any wish of any poor soul I summon."

"Due to the nature of your work, would you consider yourself a empathetic person?"

Arabella: *she laughed a little* "I suppose i am, only to the supernatural however. Other humans can be quite the bother."

You have a few human friends. What are their names and how do you feel about them?

Arabella: "Leah, Invidia, Dusk and Samena. Overall, not the friends I'd expect to have but I wouldn't trade them for anyone else!

Leahs far too excitable, but i can live with it.

Invidia just gets it.

Samena... she's incredibly sweet. It hurts me knowing what's being going on with her recently.

About Kolby.. when you summoned him what was his reaction??

Arabella: "he was so casual about being summoned, maybe a little startled- but very quickly he was all about being my friend and hanging out. Maybe he just.. didn't have any friends at the time and took the situation as a chance? I couldn't be sure."

Arabella: "oh absolutely. Just a bit of sightseeing really, maybe a bit of shopping. Definitely going to try out the food. Anything that let's me hang out with Kolby. I believe Spring Water City is a good tourist place, but I'm no fan of water really."

Do you ever plan on meeting your boyfriend's family(Kolby's family) if you haven't already?

Arabella: "hm. Well that wasn't part of my original plan, I should probably add it in. But he doesn't like talking about his family alot."

What would you have done if Samena did actually die.

Arabella: *she's crossed her arms out of discomfort* "well, I can't scold the ghosts can I? There wouldn't be anything to do other than take accountability for their actions I'm afraid. perhaps I could find her ghost and give her justice only then."

Would gaining the same life span as someone from the In-between ever interests you at all?

Arabella: "oh absolutely. I don't plan in dying at 80, in fact I don't ever plan on dying at all. Some may complain life gets repetitive- only because they don't see the humour and joy in it."
