started a new romance audiobook last night and i really like the narrator and the book itself is fine but it's got a lot of this like "women and femmes" type language that annoys me so much. also using "enbies" as a cohesive gender category which like.... it isn't......

#i also just read a ya romance that kinda did this but less so #that one was more like 'not attracted to cis men but love trans men' which 🤔🤨 okay. #it often seems to me like authors will attempt inclusivity in their language in a way that just feels stilted and inorganic. #even tho their intentions r often good. idk it's not the worst thing in the world but it always takes me out of the book #sorry im back on my haterposting.

yesterday i was at work and there was a line backed up so far i didn't see the end of it for four hours. and like people kept coming in????? even though they could see the outgoing line???? and then they just kept coming back out and complaining that everywhere was busy and there was a huge line like wow if only you could've somehow intuited that. also the exit gate broke and someone hit the entrace gate with their car. i didnt even have time to participate in the weeklong argument ive been having bc someone found me and my friend haterposting abt a series we're fans of and is defending its honor on every post we've made. in good news tho theres this guy whos been coming through the line and giving me a free meal from the restaurant he works at :)
