I only read the first three (or two and a half) asoif books, seen a lot of gif sets of the show, and watched the last episode of GoT. So (hopefully toy your amusements) my opinions are

Dany: Precious small wounded bean in the books, need to protect. Like I know she learns how to look out for herself but I still want to help. In GoT it’s more or less the same except except not. I can’t explain. I’m blaming it on bad writing.

John: Precious, silly little puppy. Also would like to protect.

Robb: An idiot but also husband material.

Arya: The youngest daughter representation we deserve

Sansa: Like annoying but there’s potential to grow. Also I would combust if she stroked my hair, so pretty.

Bran: I can’t believe they looked at this emo boy and said “yeah sure give him all the power”. Absolutely hilarious. Funniest ending since Dan being Gossip Girl

Rickon: I can’t believe they did that to him

Dany could (and does) have a legion of people who love her and would die for her if need be and I would still be in the trenches for her if she asked me to. That is my girl my baby my one and only the love of my life the apple of my eye my cherry blossom sugar plum honey bumpkin sweetie pie. Of course in the show it’s a tad less because she’s aged up quite a bit but I’m still like *banging pots and pans* that’s my girl!!! Book!dany is just 🥰💖✨🐉💕🥺😭 she’s so soft and baby and insecure and daydreams about simple life and wishes for a family and is just trying to protect those who can’t protect themselves and I just- wAAAAAH adore that little blondie dragon girl

Jon and Robb are both my smart dumbasses. Like they’re very clever and intelligent but also just.. fucking stupid at the same time sjsjdhsjdj. They both end up being killed for betrayal / treason because they were thinking with their hearts for love while that’s romantic and valiant and all… bro.. U died… 😔 also book!Jon is erm, very much… angy… angsty and angry… oooooohh boy it’s going to be quite the read once he wakes up after being murdered by his own brothers 🔪

Arya is also my honey pie who I would fight tooth and nail to defend. I actually didn’t feel super strongly about her (the way I do now) before I joined the asoiaf fandom, but then I saw how much unnecessary hate she got and was like ok. *puts her in my pocket* ur mine now xoxo. Which is pretty much the same thing I did with dany so it makes sense.

As for Sansa, I mean it’s fair to find her annoying in the beginning because she was literally created to bring trouble to the stark family

So like, that’s not unfair to feel that way lol. But most certainly she had potential to be less like that; she’s just a kid! It’s unfair to base someone entirely off of how they behaved as a kid. She’s definitely grown up and realized the world isn’t like it is in the songs, which is sad and unfortunate but I think important for her story.

Bran being so strong is so intriguing to me because I also really want him (or Arya) to rule Winterfell because Bran literally was Robbs steward and essentially ruled Winterfell while he was gone at war and what was that training for if not to have him rule. What! Was! The! Reason!
