spare toothbrush vs no spare toothbrush disc horse is, I think, very dependent on what kind of toothbrush you use. My mother was a dental assistant for many many many years. We had electric toothbrushes long before most ppl did cause that was my mom's field and she wanted her family to have the best of the best for oral hygiene. So we didn't have extra toothbrushes lying around but we always had replacement heads for the electric toothbrushes.....

#if someone made me brush my teeth with a normal ass non electric toothbrush I'd die at this point like #they just don't get your teeth half as clean #I found a good knock off of the really expensive like Sonicare ones and I love it and my mom uses one now too #so like lol no absolutely not I don't have spare toothbrushes #but I'm also not using the same toothbrush for like years on end. it’s been three years since I went to the dentist because of a combination of moving, insurance changes, and the global pandemic, and today I was told “I would’ve believed you if you said your last cleaning was six months ago! Looking good!” and I am going to be riding that high for the rest of the week

My mom has a sonicare but she never takes the head off and cleans in between the head and body of the toothbrush (which you should do every time you brush your teeth or AT LEAST once a week) and she never cleans the charger either (it was CRUSTY). And she's never replaced the head because she says it's $40 to get new ones WHEN IT'S NOT IF YOU BUY THEM ONLINE. THATS SO NASTY.

Pour one out - my 16 yr old Sonicare toothbrush died. Been with me through four jobs, five home addresses, three long term relationships, two dogs, three dentists, living in two states and been with me on countless trips.

I'm pretty attached to it; it's such a good tool that both of my exes tried to take it and were upset they had to buy their own. It slowly stopped charging and i can feel my teeth getting not as clean. I'll miss you E series
