Namseok potatoe #14
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Kim Namjoon is a very well known art influencer. He is often asked by art museums and art galleries to cover one of their exhibitions, which he is usually glad to go and let his followers discover with him : his likes, dislikes, do and don’t. Be sure he will always write an honest article on his blog about his visit. His opinions are highly respected by experts, which he is pretty proud of. It is also well known that he loves good food. People often invited him to the most valued place in order to have a quality moment with the influencer. From the sweetest miyeokguk cooked by his mom to the tastiest steak he can afford in the most expensive western restaurant, he has always savored each bite with devotion. Thing is… As long as you don’t keep him away from his dishes. The man hates to wait longer than 2 minutes from the moment the plate touches the table.
His family knows the rules, his friends make fun of him but don’t dare to defy him (one had tried once, he finished badly hurt, crashed between the table and the big and hungry guy). So yeah. Once food is presented, don’t even try to talk to him, the man is already gone into the food heaven.
Somehow, something happened one day.
Or more precisely: someone appeared one day.
One person dared to provoke the foodista. Known as an old acquaintance, named Jung Hoseok. They met during high school and their former comrades do remember that they spent their time bickering about everything: planning, the way they tied their ties, how they clean their shoes, etc. From everyone’s point of view, the two boys never kept in touch after graduating and lost contact soon after their entrance in their respective uni.
Jung Hoseok’s job is unknown to people (some says he’s the assistant of some celebrities but because of the professional secrecy rules, the name of his boss is rarely said, even whispered). But he does have a beautiful instagram account that he feeds with everything he loves: food (he’s a real foodista), fashion and sometimes museums and art exhibitions. He doesn’t live from his account, he doesn’t even do any partnership with any brand. But the aesthetic of his account is so beautiful that he became famous thanks to it. The boy just loves to take pretty pictures and because the high audience he can reach with his account, he is often invited by restaurants or any big events that need visibility toward the general public.
So Hoseok, during one of those night where he and Namjoon attend to the same event, had the audacity to put himself on the way between the art influencer and his pray (the table), grabbing his phone out of his pocket and then taking his time to adjust the image before snapping the picture button. His closed circle, who was already ready to beg the pardon of the instagrammer on the behalf of the tall guy, was definitely astonished to witness such a bizarre scene.
Kim Namjoon usually pushes people that are on his way between him and his prey. Kim Namjoon usually doesn’t excuse himself for being rude. Kim Namjoon would not even spare a glance at the damage he would have done.Kim Namjoon is on a mission.
But not this time.
He just stood behind the young man, patiently waiting for him to finish to snap his shot, but still interjecting a “Quickly! Quickly! Quickly!” while shifting from one foot to the other.
Earning a scandalized frown and a pout from the photographer, which made Namjoon excuse himself quickly… Too quickly…
And did he end it with a “Bae”?

With 15 days to go before the next Campaign begins, I have been rewatching and relistening to the last.  I am going to miss Vox Machina so much, and I each time each character does something so tied to who they are, i'm reminded of just how much i'm going to miss.
I'm going to miss Trinket.   Just in general.  No Matt being Trinket, no bear noises, no 'oh buddy', no Laura getting all sappy over her bear.   Because Trinket bear was best bear and i'm gonna miss him.  Will we have another mascot for the new group?  Who knows.  It is nice, at least, that Trinket will likely always be there on the Talks Machina set, and sometimes there just in the background of another Geek and Sundry set because he's become so a part of, and well loved, by so many there.
I'm going to miss Vex.  Her bond with Trinket.  Her bond with Vax so full of emotion. Her love with Percy and their growth both individually and together as they worked toward forgiveness.  Her friendship with the girls, fun and free; having been jealous of Keyleth before for being close to Percy and thinking she was taking away her brother, only to look after her and bond with her as a sister.  Her admiration toward Scanlan, always looking out for him and seeking his advice.  Her careful looking out for Grog, hoping he wouldn't cause problems but never making him feel stupid.  Her hate and then becoming best friends with Taryon.  Her haggling.  Her flying high on her broom. Her heart and conviction.  Her daring.  Her voice.   Her going from that lost girl hoarding money to feel secure and having no home to a woman comfortable and happy and making her home on her own.   I came to Critical Role because of Laura as I first watched Titan's Grave and I followed her to this.  So I loved her first, and Vex was and still is, my favorite.  So I will miss her terribly.
I'm going to miss Vax.  From that daring idiot going into danger alone, to the grieving, lost, and depressed person who didn't know where to belong and feared the fate that had touched him, to the man content in his place and to leave.  I am going to miss Jenga.   I'm going to miss him soaring, winged in battle, dealing incredible amounts of damage. I'm going to miss his terrible love for his sister, his love for Keyleth, and his love for Gilmore.   The moment he beaned Tary and then took him in.  I'm going to miss his admiration for the Gnomes. For his admiration of Scanlan's strength and their friendship, for his admiration of Pike in general and for whom he wanted to follow in the footsteps of.  I'm going to miss his early pranks with Grog that became a partnership, and stood by his side when he was gnomeless. For his brotherhood with Percy, starting as a fun friendship that broke and had to mend because of what happen to his sister.   I'm going to miss the selfless idiot, the self sacrifices he made, and the great love he had for his friends.
I'm going to miss Keyleth.  Her awkwardness, her deep convictions, her strength, and her growth into leadership.  How she feared hurting people but was never afraid to try things.  How she was afraid of spotlight and becoming a hero.  How she struggled with anger and self doubt and revenge.  I'm going to miss her love of Vax and her friendship with Percy.   I'm going to miss her admiration of Vex's coolness and Pike in general.   I'm going to miss her smaller but powerful moments with Grog who promised to fight with her and the moment she asked him how he dealt with his rage.   Even the smaller moments with Scanlan which were so rare.  I'm even going to miss her antlers.
I'm going to miss Percy.  His terribly long name, his anger, his darkness, his sass, and his witty one-liners.  Life needs things to live.   I'm going to miss his devil's luck with natural twenties and his golden snitch. (Taliesin should not have allowed Matt to inherit that dice).  I'm going to miss his excited laughter and his ideas and inventions.  I'm going to miss his many gift arrows to Vex and his overall love for her and how he did everything he could to make sure she was happy and listened to her especially when he couldn't trust himself.  I'm going to miss his broken and healing bond with Vax.  I'm going to miss his odd friendship with Keyleth.  His science-bro-ness with Taryon and his friendship and then rivalry with Scanlan who he felt had abandoned him.  His teasing but fondness of Grog who he saw as a brother.  His admiration for Pike's goodness.  And his odd relationship with his sister.  Most importantly, though, I am happy that he finally realized peace, how much he missed his family, and was content to have a family, create and make art, and never make another weapon again.
I'm going to miss Taryon though we knew him a short while.  He was fun and inexperienced but sweet.  I'm going to miss Doty.  I'm going to miss his bond of friendship and love of Vex and Percy.   I'm going to miss the trouble he got into with Grog that made them Wanted in Vasselheim.  I'm going to miss his admiration toward Keyleth who he saw as a leader.  I'm going to miss his small moments with Pike and her teaching him everyone's names and how he was determined to follow through.   I'm going to miss the smaller moments with Vax, who had beaned him on the back of the head and then promptly adopted him. I'm going to regret not seeing more of him, tho I am happy he found Larry and changed the course of his family, finally finding confidence in himself to do so.
I'm going to miss Scanlan.  It took me a while to warm up to him, problematic as he was, but slowly is saw the heart of him.  Won over by the devotion to his friends and his amazing songs.  I may miss his songs the most. I'm going to miss his love turned full admiration of Pike who he did not expect to love him back but he was hopeful, then backed off and learned to know her as a person finally, not expecting much but asked her out only to have her do the same.  I'm going to miss his bond with his daughter and his many bad decisions.  I'm going to miss his team ups with Vex and his friendship with Grog, his partner in crime.  I'm going to miss his awkward friendship with Keyleth and his closer bond with Vax and how he tried to save him and how it broke his heart when he couldn't.  I'm going to miss his rivalry with Percy, even if darker towards the end, though Percy did say he wanted to apologize in the end.   I'm even going to miss his hatred of Trinket.  Maybe not entirely hatred, more that he found Trinket more in the way than anything.   I'm going to miss Burt Reynolds, attorney at small, and the meatman.  I'm going to never forget the day he became a Triceratops and took on an entire house of enemies all by himself.  But yes, mostly, Scanlan songs...i can't imagine being without them permanently.
I'm going to miss Pike.  Ever a healer and kind, but so small and terribly powerful and strong, second only to Grog.  How she went against the conventional for clerics.  I'm going to miss the Monstah.  I'm going to miss her admonishing of Scanlan then slowly finding she loved him.  I'm going to miss her sweet bond with Vax she lovingly called String-bean.  I'm going to miss her bond with Grog, her best friend and brother, her buddy.  I'm going to miss her closeness to Vex and Keyleth who were like her sisters.  I'm going to miss how she admonished and taught Taryon everyone's names.    I'm going to miss even her unrequited interest in Percy that remained a good friendship.  I'm going to miss her threatening literal gods for the sake of her friends and family. I'm going to miss her strength and light.  I'm going to miss angel Pike, astral projecting to be with her friends.  I'm going to miss her bond with Sarenrae.  The smallest and most powerful gnome, she was.
I'm going to miss Grog. I'm going to miss his rage and his ability have strange bonds with sentient and far more intelligent weapons.  I'm going to miss his love of gnomes.  I'm going to miss team Tol and smol.  I'm going to miss how much he loved and admired his best friend Pike, his buddy who taught him to read and write his name.  I'm going to miss his friendship with Scanlan, and how hurt he was to feel he was replaced when Scanlan returned.  How big and intimidating he was but also how bigger his heart was and how much love he had for his friends.  I'm going to miss his strange friendship with Vex and Percy who lovingly teased him but always looked out for him.  I'm going to miss his pranks with Vax which turned into respect.  I'm going to miss how he didn't quite like Tary but their moments together were amusing.  I'm going to miss those sweet and short moments with Keyleth when he taught her about rage. I'm going to miss his small moments of brilliance and his others that landed them in trouble.  I'm going to miss his protective silence when others died and knew how to keep all going but how he broke when Scanlan died.   I'm going to miss his admiration of Kima and literally any woman who could kick his ass.
I'm going to even miss Tiberius in a way though it's been so long.  His bumbling and lack of social understanding.   But mostly i'll always remember how brokenhearted they were when he left and when he died.
I'm going to miss the Slayers Cake.  I'm going to miss badass Kima and her powerful wife Allura.  I’m going to miss Zahra who was so amazing.  I’m going to miss grouchy Kashaw.  I’m going to miss Lilith and Tova and Lionel.  I’m going to miss unfortunate Thorbir and ditzy Lyra.  I’m going to miss Kerr bear.  I’m going to miss Garthok. I’m going to never forget Arkhan the cruel who stole Vecna’s hand.  I’m going to miss Sprigg, the key to Ioun.  I’m going to miss Dr. Dranzel and Kaylie.  I’m going to miss little Velora Vessar. I’m going to miss crazy old Viktor the gunpowder merchant.  I’m going to miss that poor merchant that VM always tormented and who Grog hired to teach him. I’m going to miss sweet Tyriok the mapmaker.  I’m going to miss Kern the Hammer and Earthbreaker Groon.  I'm going to miss Glorious Shaun Gilmore and his beautiful voice and manner.  I'm going to miss J'mon Sa Ord and their too few appearances.   I'm going to miss Artagan, that amazing arch-fey who drew silly pictures and choked out Vax once to make a deal.  I'm going to miss Cassandra who struggled and Kynan who was lost.  And I hope to see them all...at least once more...in the new campaign.  With Artagan's new entrance to Exandria available and J'mon being what they are, i'm sure at least they'll be around.
I'm going to miss Clarota, no matter how much of a betrayer he had been, he had still been an interesting companion.  I'm going to miss the tragedy and darkness of the Briarwoods, and wonder if Silas is still out there in hiding or if the remaining of Vox Machina dealt with him sometime later.  I'm  never going to forget Raishan the clever who is likely gone forever and Ripley their other great nemesis.  I'm going to wonder if Orthax still lurks somewhere in the Hells.
There are so many people to miss.
I'm going to miss team Tol and Smol.  I'm going to miss team Half-eff and Disaster Human.   Most of all, i'm going to miss this found and broken family. How much they've been through together and how much they have grown individually and as a group.
I came late to the party, just as they were in the Feywild.  It's been just over a year for me but it's come to mean everything.  I look forward to the new group and the new campaign and am excited at all that awaits...but i'll never forget Vox Machina and all the laughter and tears I had during their journey.

Scorpio Monthly Horoscope
Tumblr media
MONTH OF January
Monthly Snapshot
Ready to slow down a little? At last, you can pace yourself and get back to bonding, nesting and tending to your ties. For many Scorpios, 2020 was a hectic time of multitasking. And while it was good to be busy and distracted from the harsh realities of the world whenever possible, Scorpios NEED restorative times of quiet and “doing nothing.”
In actuality, you’re not doing “nothing”—whether you realize it or not, you’re processing emotions and all the psychic information your famous radar picks up on. Being constantly busy makes it hard to stay balanced. So you’ll be happy to know that January’s stars emphasize home, family and plenty of time for self-care.
There will still be plenty of buzz until January 19, though, as the Sun rounds out a visit to Capricorn and your social, interactive third house. After that, you’ll probably want to power down, spend less time on your devices (whenever possible) and indulge in luxurious self-care.
With Mars and Uranus heating up your relationship sector, you’ll get by with a little help from your inner circle, and maybe add some solid new members to your crew. Just make sure you get everyone on the same page before Mercury turns retrograde on January 30, which could cause scrambled signals and unnecessary breakdowns. Back up your data and devices early in the month to avoid any of the usual Mercury mischief!
Week 1: January 1-10
Help is on the way
Have mundane matters taken over your life? Get ready to banish boredom and banality this week as intensifier Mars wraps up its extra-long trip through Aries and your administrative, wellness-focused sixth house.
Since June 27, you may have been dealing with lots of little details and possibly some health-related matters. Taming stress hasn’t been easy, and while you’ve been outright heroic with the way you’ve handled 2020’s many curveballs, it’s taken a toll.
Great news: You’re about to get some help around here! On Wednesday, January 6, Mars enters Taurus and your partnership house, intensifying your need for support. A key relationship could heat up, perhaps speeding toward “official” status, whether that’s in love or business. Other bonds could get testy, making it impossible to ignore where there’s an imbalanced give-and-take.
Overall, the energy around dynamic duos is earthy, sensual and deliberate—meaning Valentine’s Day this year could be especially fulfilling. On the business front, you may feel some pressure to make things rock-solid by signing on the dotted line. There’s no need to rush into something you’re unsure about, but by the same token, don’t overthink this and miss an opportunity. Balance is key.
Week 2: January 11-17
Pieces of you
So many people, so little time! This week, it feels like everyone and their mama wants a piece of you. Relationships and family are so powered up that finding time for yourself and your goals could seem impossible. Or you could be tending to issues on the home front, such as a move or renovation. Whatever the case, your personal life is extremely front and center.
Jupiter and Saturn are now in Aquarius for much of the year, putting emphasis on your domestic fourth house. If you haven’t taken your emotions seriously enough, that could suddenly feel mission critical. Establishing a base of security, both within yourself and with a solid financial nest egg, are top priorities for 2021.
Family members, particularly female ones, could play central roles in the coming weeks. Cultivate relationships with inspiring and confident women—and nurture someone who’s not as far along on their path as you are!
At the same time, partnerships take center stage as go-getter Mars and disruptor Uranus, both in Taurus, energize your seventh house of relationships. Family obligations could compete with an exciting business or romantic relationship, perhaps one that’s zooming quickly toward a more locked-in status.
It all begins on Wednesday, January 13, when Mclass=”body-el-link standard-body-el-link” ars and Saturn get embroiled in a tense square, making you feel like you have one foot on the gas, the other on the brake. Under this tough aspect, a family member or close person could voice disapproval about an important decision you’re ready to make, especially if it involves a relationship.
Is their resistance rooted in fear—or is this a helpful reality check? Even if you don’t like the bluntness with which it’s delivered, it might make sense to slow down and consider their objections, if only to let YOU feel stronger in your choice. At the same time, Saturn rules boundaries, and it might be time to put up a few with any meddling relatives.
Hold off on making any binding decisions, though, because on Thursday, January 14, radical changemaker Uranus wakes up from a five-month nap in Taurus and your committed seventh house. A relationship could suddenly zoom toward official status…or you might take a complete detour and call an almost-finished agreement off. Any duo that feels less than dynamic won’t cut it, especially if you feel the other person is limiting you in any way. Uranus wants freedom of expression and room to roam—and that’s one item you can’t compromise on now!
Speak your truth, Scorpio, because today is also the annual conjunction (meetup) of the bold Sun and your ruler, transformational Pluto. As this pair unites in your third house of communication and ideas, you could confidently express an idea that you’ve been keeping inside or just haven’t found the words to articulate. It’s a powerful day for pitching, so if you’re at that stage, whittle down your most important talking points and take the mic. Less is more—you don’t have to overexplain. Just let your power resonate with each simple statement and watch as people take notice.
On Sunday, January 17, all relationships could feel confining and claustrophobic, tempting you to make an abrupt jailbreak. Blame it on a once-every-seven-years square between independent Jupiter and liberated Uranus. As these freedom-seeking planets face off in your family and relationship houses, you could feel overwhelmed by all the people who want your time, care and attention. As much as you love them, you need some breathing room! Take an emergency time-out and devote the day to your own pursuits.
Once you’ve gotten that space, think about ways that you can empower your loved ones to fend for themselves. If you’ve gotten caught up in caretaking, it’s time to pass that baton to someone else—or, if the person you’re tending to is a full-grown adult, to break the codependent chain. Are you the one relying too heavily on others before making important decisions—or even basic ones? Let this Jupiter-Uranus square be your wakeup call, however jarring, that it’s time to become a bit more self-sufficient.
Week 3: January 18-24
Focus on home and firming your foundation
Nesting season is officially here! This Tuesday, January 19, the Sun shifts gears into Aquarius, heating up your domestic fourth house until February 18. With Mercury, Jupiter and Saturn all gathered here, your household will be a hub of activity—yes, more than it already is.
Even if you didn’t do much for the holidays, an internal reset is always a good idea for Scorpios. During this reflective month, get back in tune with your body and soul through self-care, and work on fortifying your emotional foundation through meditation and more quiet moments. If you’re looking to redecorate or changeclass=”body-el-link standard-body-el-link” the energy under your roof (check out our Home Reset course for Feng Shui ideas at https://astrostyle.com/homereset), break out the paint swatches and Pinterest boards. Your mother or a female relative could play a key role over the next few weeks.
Relationships also heat up midweek, and they could move faster than you expect. This Wednesday, January 20, intense Mars conjuncts changemaker Uranus in Taurus and your partnership zone. Whoosh! Someone close to you could deliver curveball news. You might get an unexpected proposal to move toward official status.
But since Mars and Uranus HATE being caged in, this midweek meetup could also bring a sudden split. The urge to free yourself might strike out of nowhere, and anyone smothering you could get the sudden heave-ho. Be careful not to act on raw emotion or anger, though. Under this rash conjunction, any hard-to-reverse moves are not advised. Instead of breaking up, you could also just take a time-out and go take a much-needed solo adventure for a few days. If you still feel the same after a cooldown, you can proceed accordingly.
On Saturday, January 23, you may feel pulled in two different directions—strongly—as Mars squares off against expansive Jupiter in your fourth house of home, family and feelings. The intense demands of a fast-moving relationship could be at odds with some of your personal needs. Maybe you’re thinking about moving or changing your lifestyle, and that makes it hard to commit to any offers, both in love and business.
With sobering Saturn making its annual conjunction to the Sun that same day, you’d be wise to slow down and do some serious reflection first. A Sun-Saturn alliance can bring out our skeptical and pessimistic sides (so beware), but at best they operate as checkpoints, forcing us to look at the potential downside of a situation. Maybe you raced too quickly into something or opened up before trust was fully established.
If you’re pondering a relocation, you might need to pause and really consider the options. For example, do you want to move, and if so, should you buy or rent? Take the time to do thorough research (and soul-searching), and you’ll feel so much more confident in your decisions. If you DO need a day off from a certain someone, this would be the weekend to take it!
Week 4: January 25-31
Home wasn’t built in a day
Home-based action peaks this week as four planets root into Aquarius and your domestic, emotional fourth house. The Sun, Mercury, Jupiter and Saturn are all in this sociable sign, making your personal life a hive of activity—which is both exciting and stressful. Suddenly it might seem like you have a million household projects or that every relative is coming out of the woodwork needing your advice and support. Give them all a moment of your famous laser focus, letting them know their needs and issues have been heard, but make it clear that you have a lot going on yourself!
On Tuesday, January 26, the Aquarius Sun will square off against disruptor Uranus in Taurus, echoing the tension of the January 17 Jupiter-Uranus square. With the Sun in your family zone and Uranus in your relationship house, there may be stress between your loved ones and your love life. You might be feeling indecisive about a relationship or uncertain where you stand, and that could leave you feeling ungrounded. Maybe a relative voices disapproval of your personal choices. Remember, Scorpio: You don’t HAVE to take it personally.
Perhaps the people you count on as your go-to supporters are acting flaky and unreliable. Do you confront them? Under a thin-skinned and reactive Sun-Uranus square, egos and tempers run high. You may need to push back on someone’s unreasonable demands. Tap into your Scorpio gifts of insight and direct communication—and make any unpleasant moments as brief, compassionate and undramatic as possible.
The best day to clarify boundaries and realign with your biggest goals arrives this Thursday, January 28, when the first full moon of 2021 lands in bold Leo and your tenth house of leadership, career and success. Step into your authority, Scorpio! You’ll be able to clearly see and delineate some of your longer-term goals now—and it will feel so good to prioritize.
A venture or milestone you’ve been working toward since the August 18 Leo new moon could come together now with a flourish. If you’ve been waiting for the perfect time to ask for a raise, pitch a client or influencer or even apply for a new position, this full moon opens the windows of opportunity.
Even better? Today, the Sun will conjunct expansive Jupiter in their once-a-year meetup, known as the Day of Miracles and considered by astrologers to be one of the luckiest days of the year. As these two luminaries connect in Aquarius and your fourth house of foundations, you could manifest the emotional support you need to really go after your massive mission.
A family member could act as a guardian angel (maybe even an angel investor). If you’re looking to buy or sell a home or to relocate, watch for signs today…and follow this divine guidance.
It’s important to get things in place quickly, though, because on Saturday, January 30, communication planet Mercury will go retrograde through Aquarius in your home zone until February 20. Even if the Day of Miracles delivers the dream, you still need to read the fine print. Don’t immediately open the doors to needy family members or friends because under Mercury’s crossed wires, you’ll likely resent them later. It’s okay to keep a few things for yourself first, Scorpio—especially when it comes to your castle and keep.
With Mercury spinning backward, watch for moodiness and sudden bouts of insecurity. Can you avoid taking things personally? Since retrograde Mercury is famous for throwing curveballs, you may need to replace a home appliance or two. Mercury and Aquarius are both gadget-oriented, and you’ll want to make sure your electronics are surge-protected. Repair any leaks right away (such as a running toilet tank or dripping faucet) that could turn into bigger plumbing problems down the class=”body-el-link standard-body-el-link” road.
While you’re in fix-it mode, you may feel the need to change the energy in your home. Check out our Home Reset course that combines Feng Shui and astrology: https://astrostyle.com/homereset. A few simple changes to your layout could get the flow back into your space.
LOVE & ROMANCE:
At last, a little pleasure! If love has felt like an effort—or the chores of day-to-day life have left you too tired or distracted for romance—that’s all about to change. Since June 27, 2020, passionate Mars has been in a decidedly NOT sexy part of your chart as he took an extended trip through Aries and your sixth house of labor, wellness and service. Responsibilities, pandemic, scrambling for work: not exactly come-hither words, least of all in the sultry Scorpio lexicon.
But that all changes this month. From January 6 to March 3, Mars will march through Taurus and your seventh house of committed relationships, turning up the temps in your closest ties. A new connection can quickly move toward official status. Single Scorpios could meet someone with long-term potential when you least expect it.
Attached? This is a time for solidifying any areas that are even slightly wobbly, especially around home and family. At times, you might fight a little more, but with sexy Scorpio mediating, you’ll likely settle your differences in the bedroom. That said, try to keep your temper in check to avoid fanning the flames of any conflict.
Love has felt more serious ever since Venus went into Sagittarius on December 15, but on January 8, she relocates to Capricorn and your breezy, flirtatious third house. With this lighthearted new energy, you’ll be even more magnetic. Enjoy it for the rest of the month, especially on January 9, when a Venus-Mars trine could turn friends into lovers and remind lovers to be best friends again.
Key Dates:
January 9: Venus-Mars trine
Bring on the lasting love! As affectionate Venus and passionate Mars harmonize in stable earth signs, you could have true romance with all the trimmings—sensuality and stability. Skip the “come here now go away” players and their mixed messages. A partner who makes you feel secure is suddenly the most attractive catch in town. Coupled? Mark a long-term relationship with a thoughtful gift to let your mate know how much you cherish them.

Okay since Tumblr mobile ate @dollsome-does-tumblr 's ask and I'm not sure what it would spit out if I attempted it again I'm just going to put my answers here
What are your Top 6 Game of Thrones ships and the top 6 things you would change about the Gilmore Girls revival?
Top 6 Game of Thrones Ships
Jaime and Brienne - The only pure ship on this show. I love how their bond is based on honesty and integrity and genuine affection (in other words, all the things Jaime has little experience with as long as he's tied to his family). I can't help but hold out hope for a happy ending on this one.
Tormund and The Hound - They are destined to live out their lives in odd couple harmony and y'all know it.
Jon and Ygritte - The best doomed couple on the show and oh man, that cave scene. Jon's got skills.
Oberyn and Ellaria - There was such a genuine devotion between them despite the um, unconventional nature of their partnership. It's too bad Ellaria got so awful after he died.
Arya and Hot Pie - I want them to settle down like Katniss and Peeta. He can bake while she kills things.
Jonerys - I said I wouldn't ship it but apparently I can't help myself.
Top 6 Things I Would Change About The Gilmore Girls Revival
Rory and Logan - Oh, man. Look, I don't think Logan treats Rory badly during the revival (he clearly genuinely cares about her and is supportive) and I don't think either of them forced the situation on the other but it's simply unacceptable to ask us to believe that Logan made such a significant effort to break away from his father and then have him return to being a compliant pawn (at least S6 Logan was honest about the fact that he hated it) and not explain it. The same goes for Rory engaging in this semi adulterous relationship and coasting off of Logan's generosity and not explaining that or the fact that they can't discuss changing their relationship status with each other or anyone else. I'm not upset as a shipper but as a fan who cared about both of them and as someone who doesn't like crappy writing. We needed a lot more context for all of that.
Luke/April - I didn't find it that big of a deal that Luke still takes ownership of the financial aspects of caring for April (that's normal parent vs stepparent stuff and clearly he isn't doing anything to stop Lorelai and April from spending time with each other) but that whole dynamic was a lot more awkward than it needs to be. I didn't like that Lorelai and April were almost rude to her, that Rory seemed almost uncomfortable in April's presence, that while it's clear that Luke is very protective of April in his traditional dad way we didn't see a lot of the affection and warmth he shows towards Rory. I know the atmosphere was tense in the Gilmore/Danes household during those scenes due to Luke and Lorelai's own problems and Rory moving back home but I would have liked to see her integrated into that house more than she was. It's like the Palladinos were working overboard to convince us that Luke loves Rory the most or we will forget she's the main character or something. And I think this is something the S7 writers understood that the Ps didn't: that it's okay for Luke to genuinely love his daughter, even if that situation messed up things between him and Lorelai: I think S7 Lorelai understood that, too, even when it would have been easy for her to be resentful. So I would have liked for more positive interaction between the two of them. And it goes without saying that the whole graduation mystery was ridiculous.
Lane - Lane seemed happy and stable during the revival and I think she and Zach had the most functional relationship. But I would have liked her to have a plot of her own or some real information about her creative life. The reason I go off on a tangent about Lane when I write fan fiction is that I don't believe she would be happy unless she were creatively fulfilled (and I love obscure music stuff, I can't help myself). I also would have liked more interaction between Luke and Lane/Zach and possibly the boys.
Paris/Doyle - We were actually left hanging with Paris missing Doyle and maybe even being pregnant and it was never mentioned again. Come on. In my head she isn't pregnant, it's only a scare, but the situation causes them to reconcile and that's why he was at the house in the third episode and is still writing stuff for Rory.
Not enough Luke/Lorelai romantic/sexytime - Okay, Luke has his epic speech and I loved it but I would have liked to see him make some ridiculous romantic spectacle and say it's no big deal for old times sake. Also this isn't the WB anymore so I would have liked more sexy moments between them even if they are middle aged and have been together for a decade.
The Musical - Sutton Foster's last song was important to the plot but the rest of it was deeply unnecessary when there are so many plot holes.

Night on Fic Mountain 2017 letter
Dear writer,
Hello and thanks for writing for me! I hope these prompts inspire you!
Chronicles of the Kencyrath - P. C. Hodgell
Relationship: Brier Iron-Thorn & Torisen Knorth
Relationship: Jamethiel Knorth & Torisen Knorth
Relationship: Kirien Jaran & Torisen Knorth
Relationship: Torisen Knorth & Yce
Relationship: Trishien Jaran & Torisen Knorth
Some prompts:
A continuation of The Sea of Time – Torisen’s reaction to discovering Jame has bound a Kendar when he’s Highlord and lord of his House and struggles with binding all his Kendar. Now that the plot summary of The Gates of Tagmeth has been announced, feel free to write the start of or an episode based on that. I love this series’ combination of high and low fantasy, dark magic, loopy humor, complex characterization, dread destiny looming over all yet people kicking against destiny all the while, and rich worldbuilding - any/all of that in fic is swell.
Torisen before he was Highlord: I’d prefer a story about what it was like for him and Jame growing up in the Haunted Lands or Torisen growing to young adulthood once Jame was gone and he had to witness Ganth going mad on his own, rather than a story about his time with the Southern Host.
Torisen spends time with Brier and discovers they may actually be kindred souls (both closed off from the world yet bursting with perceptiveness and emotion, both underestimated by most people in their surroundings).
Brier anything – her childhood, her life after her mother died and she served the Caineron, how she copes with being bound by Jame while still serving Torisen, a canon divergence for Brier, speculative future fic…
Yce grows up from puphood in Torisen’s company and learns many things (bonus points if you do Yce’s wolf-girl POV) and/or Torisen deals (probably by not really dealing, because he’s Tori) with the likelihood that Yce sees him as a potential future mate and that is why she’s so protective of him and jealous of others who are close to him.
Jaran shenanigans, especially if you can combine their devotion to scholarship (which Hodgell depicts with such loving humor) with the customs of the Women’s World, and possibly something about the revelation of Kirien’s gender to the other Highborn lords. OR Kirien balancing out being the head of a house of scholars and singers with her position in the vipers’ nest which is the Highlord’s council, with Trishien’s help and advice. OR Kirien learning both knowledge and life skills from Trishien as she is groomed to be the head of her house.
More interactions between Tori and the Jaran matriarch! Could Trishien help him navigate his discomfort about being a Shanir? Could she help him banish Ganth once and for all?
For a probably darker fic, any/all of these character combos enter Perimal Darkling or join the final battle against him – what happens? Do they live (you can ignore ‘major character death’ being my DNW in this instance)? How are they changed by their experiences in the Master’s House?
Just as a general point, if you could avoid making the incest barely-subtext between the Knorth twins text and the center of the story, that would be swell.
  Deutschland 83
Relationship: Ingrid Rauch & Lenora Rauch
Relationship: Lenora Rauch & Tobias Tischbier
Relationship: Lenora Rauch & Walter Schweppenstette
Relationship: Martin Rauch & Walter Schweppenstette
Character: Lenora Rauch
I loved this show’s combo of characterization, mild soap opera, historical detail, and sympathy for what would soon prove to be a failed political and social system. I’d love to see any of these character relationships explored either in terms of their backstory, the complex shifting of affection and resentment and power between them (siblings, parents and children, fellow spies, spies and handlers), or in a post-canon setting, either the very last years of the Cold War or in reunified Germany.
One of my favorite things about the show is how it takes characters who are frankly terrible people (Lenora, Schweppenstette) and makes them sympathetic without whitewashing them, and it takes likable, sympathetic people (Ingrid, Martin) and has them do really iffy things or knowingly make choices which endanger themselves and others.
I’d especially encourage divergences that still make sense in terms of real events in the period: Martin discovers who his father is before, during or right after canon? Martin’s mother is Lenora rather than Ingrid - how does that influence her choices as a mother and as a ruthless spy? Lenora is the agent embedded long-term in the West, and Tischbier is her handler who risks his cover while partaking of the West’s gay scene?
If you’d prefer to stick to canon, that’s great too! How much does Ingrid really know about her sister’s work? How does the sisters’ relationship develop after Lenora’s escape to Africa (and possible return after 1990)? How did Lenora “run” Tischbier all those years and what does she think of him – is he just a tool, does she care about his well-being at all, has she ever used his sexuality to keep him in line or blackmail him? A day at work with Lenora and Schweppenstette being devious or their phone conversations from Bonn to East Berlin, knowing they’re being listened to, by their own side probably? Martin and Schweppenstette post-canon, in the days and weeks right after Martin’s return or years later – what do they both know and what are they both willing to admit about their relationship?
  The Sandman
Relationship: Corinthian & Dream
Relationship: Death & Dream
Relationship: Dream/Thessaly
Relationship: Lucien & Matthew the Raven
Relationship: Matthew the Raven & Thessaly
Character: Mazikeen
For Dream/Thessaly, a look at their relationship – I love Thessaly for being always herself, as unlikable as she can be, and often wonder how she and Dream ever hooked up, made a go of an actual relationship, and/or what all contributed to their breakup (besides their both being difficult people used to getting their way and being alone).
For Corinthian & Dream, I’d love to see this from the Second Corinthian’s perspective – requited or not (not seems more likely), tied up with all of the Corinthian’s identity issues and memories of his past self and his role in the Dreaming and the world, the maker/creation relationship he has with Morpheus. This can go as dark or erotic (/ instead of &) as you like, but please heed my DNWs.
For Lucien & Matthew as well as Matthew & Thessaly, I’d love something humorous (darkly humorous or droll - it’s the snarky raven!) and Dreaming-set. A book in Lucien’s library isn’t where it’s supposed to be, either a quest to find it ensues or the missing book somehow endangers the very fabric of the dreaming. Matthew is forced to spend time with the boss’ new girlfriend, maybe as a sort of honorary guard while she explore the Dreaming, and much snark and possibly some chilling magic happens.
For Death & Dream, a slice of whatever passes for life among the Endless. Dream accompanies Death on another day at work and learns a different life lesson than in The Sound of Wings. Or Death accompanies Dream on a mission in his realm or in the waking world, possibly with an agenda of her own which he discovers along the way. They might argue. Or they might get ice cream.
For Mazikeen, I just find her fascinating. She’s like a gruesome parody of a femme fatale, all mysterious and devoted to her man/boss/devil and deadly yet not really EVIL from what we saw of her in canon. Her backstory (how did she gain her half-woman, half-corpse appearance?), or what Lucifer did to win her love and eternal devotion, or a (dark, funny, darkly funny) incident from their time running a piano bar, or Mazikeen goes on a mission, armed with her mask and slurred speech and maybe lingering infernal powers… I am somewhat familiar with Mazikeen’s story in the spinoff comics, but I’d prefer it if you stuck to what we know of her in the Sandman canon (as far as The Wake) only.
  Likes:
I love pre-canon, canon, post-canon, canon-divergent, and “missing scene from canon” stories. I love character-driven and plot-driven stories equally, and I love fics which mix humor and angst/serious business when appropriate for the canon. I’m also requesting in-canon meta here, so fictional excerpts from diaries, letters, histories, novels/fairytales/songs would be awesome.
I love character studies, characters at work and play, stories about group dynamics, family dynamics (including constructed families), professional partnerships, friendships, alliances, rivalries, intimate couples, UST-ridden couples who are not just UST-ridden but connected in other ways too, parents and children, siblings, etc.
I love irony, snark, 5+1 stories, bittersweet endings, hopeful endings, happy endings, canon-fitting crack, worldbuilding, characters who are their own worst enemies as well as those who learn to get over themselves, characters with conflicting values which may or may not be reconciled/resolved in a believable and IC way, characters who treat each other with respect and as equals even if they hate/annoy/can’t stand/love to dislike each other.
I especially love workplace stories (this can mean anything from an office/procedural setting to anything that revolves around the canon world in which the characters live) in which the characters are competent and dedicated to the job, and while they may not be exactly friends and they may well irritate one another, they still manage to rub along to get the job done and maybe even grow to care about one another (much to their surprise and sometimes reluctance/discomfort). Or, if they can’t get along, show me why not and what’s preventing them from finding common ground.
DNWs:
Kinks, MPREG, A/B/O, knotting, D/s, incest, underage, genderswap and genderbent characters, non-con, dub-con, torture and abuse, dwelling on bodily fluids (mentions of gore and come are fine where appropriate), toilet humor, character bashing, soulmates and soul marks, major character death (unless it’s canon), pregnancy and children as the lynchpin of the story (unless strictly canon appropriate), characters agonizing over/analyzing/dwelling on their or others’ sexuality as if it’s the sum total of their existence, secondary characters acting like shipping the main pair is their be all and end all, fluff and schmoop, OCs (except for worldbuilding purposes – I just don’t want a fic in which OCs are the heroes and canon characters are cameos), PWP or porn-centric fic, issuefic, fic written in the first or second person, holiday or wedding setting or theme, AUs which have nothing to do with canon (cop characters working in a coffee shop, high-school janitor characters in space, etc.)
