while I listen to recent kpop releases let me make a list of some faves I’ve been obsessed with lately and some I know I will get into more on second and third listens:

1. first of all Got7 second of all Got7 I can’t believe they have done this to me. You Calling My Name 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼good job. plus that choreo is so great a little funny but nice

2. idk if I yelled about my boy Yoo Youngjae I’m just so proud of him and thankful for all the content he’s giving us! Besides the title track, I really love the third track on his mini album it’s called Our Story and it’s sooo nice

3. I def did yell about ms Taeyeon queen I love her :( all the songs on her album are masterpieces I especially love Gravity, Wine and Love You Like Crazy

4. DAY6! Blessed me especially with 365247....dowoooon? dowoon. omg. I was shookt so hard I love his voice TT

5. Nu’est comeback was so good so soft so happy, their smiles kill me! Title track + Trust Me + Stay Up All Night = pure happiness. I’m also watching Idol room when I get a chance and their ep was so funny! Baekho’s smile really devastates me :(

6. I did post the Winner MV but besides the title (also wow SoSo just started playing on shuffle what are the oddds) really love my boy Seungyoon’s solo Wind! OMG and don’t be shy are great too, the choreo was so cute for don’t be shy, saw a fancam from their concert

7. hurts my hort to talk about Monsta X but I’ve been majorly obsessed with See You Again and someone pointed out how Kihyun at the end goes ‘baby I’m mithing you thee you again’ with his lisp and I just laugh afterwards every damn time 😅 cutie. but tbh all the songs on this album are so so good. I didn’t love the previous album so much and I was soooo pleased with this one but it’s bittersweet. I miss Wonho :(

8. A.C.E did so well with this album I really love So Sick and Slow Dive! Holiday is a cute bop too.

9. there are two Queendom songs I have had on repeeeeat and I feel like other people don’t love them as much? Im sad. but basically...Queen Park Bom’s Wanna Go Back (the performance made me bawl my eyes out coz of the 2NE1 refs) and Lovelyz Moonlight! They really did something with that. I hope they do more of those kind of songs in the future.

10. Zico is back and thriving...so many MVs in one month 👀 faves are Human (lovelovelove), One-man show, Extreme, actually, another level and dystopia. never ceases to amaze.

11. Few more: Victon had such a great comeback and they won too, I’m happy for them 🥰 love IU’s Love Poem a lot. Hyuk’s A long night (his solo stuff is so good?! never got into Vixx’s music but this guy..wow love his songs). Brown Eyed Girls Sorrow AND Miryo’s Invitation ft Uhm Jung Hwa this one is so so so amazing I can’t explain. go listen.

bonus idk why I missed adding this track two years ago but I’ve had it on repeat lately...listen to this bop Mistake by my girls CLC and the whole album..really great. wish they were more popular :(
