Anyway my health aside I'm Thinking about things with Sol.

A. Her being stubborn and foolhardy when she's younger and that's the kind of shit that got her in trouble. It's an impulse she still has and she's still as stubborn as a mule. But she's at least learned a little.

B. Her background. I do need to actually write it it's just ugh. UGH. Solita's background was written originally for a much younger character, she used to be 19. But given her rewrite/redesign and aging up it doesn't make much sense for her?

But I want to keep the fact that Solita's backstory, and the beginning of her story with Deity, is drowning. Sol drowns because of a conflict that started because she was stubborn and doesn't know how to change her mind. I like the idea of Sol used to have this paragon-esque personality early on. It's a personality that clashed with a cocktail of bad choices and bad situations.

And Solita had to change because she's stuck in, no pun intended, a sink-or-swim situation. But every time she sinks, she's pulled back up and told to try again. And again. And again, again, again.
