Not to brag too much, but I’ll. Ever get over how well my bike turned out. I’m so fucking proud of my work and the end result is exactly what I envisioned.

After a week straight, this is about as clean as an old '76er can get without a tear down. #sohc4 #cb550f #1976 #honda #caferacerxxx @caferacerxxx @caferacersofinstagram @cafelifestyle @hondacaferacers @bratcafe @bratstyleitalia #bratstyle #cafe #caferacer #motorcycle #wip (at IRONwood)
I’ve installed new bullet turn signals from Lockhart Phillips for front and back. The front signals are mounted directly where the head lamp lug nuts used to be, and I drilled holes in the rear fender for the back signals. Using the existing holes in the frame was not an option because the seat would hit the signals, and I did not want to put extensions on them…
Too bad this video is bad quality, but still interesting. A little basic info on the Honda CB750K - mind you that what was "revolutionary" for a production bike in 1969, was not exactly anymore in 1972 (Kawasaki Z1/Z2, Suzuki GT etc..).
Still, over ten years more than 400,000 units of this bike were sold. A quick and dirty link to get some basic specs is at the wiki. A link you should all know is the SOHC4 Forum, Single Overhead Cam for those of you just getting familiar with the bike.... the Forum has about 11,000 users, a very decent set of pages with specifications, manual excerpts and collected suggestions from the more senior/authoritative of the members. Keep in mind that like any forum, it is impossible to gauge or judge accurately the quality of the posts and the real expertise of those posting them....so do yourself a favor and before you go begging for advice and dropping money based on it (been there, done that, yes) spend some time looking up the specific question you have and gathering info from different sources.
Road my bike to work for the first time ever. Its running better than ever. A handful of kinks to work out but its good to ride for the rest of the season before I rip it apart.
This thing is so much fun. #honda #cb650 #sohc4 #caferacer #caferacersofinstagram #hondacb https://www.instagram.com/p/Bow58LnHrCW/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1mensr2eazqb
