7Ways You should utilize Technology To Grow to be Irresistible To Prospects
Tumblr media
They are a tad old-fashioned by today's standards and many modellers buy or create (using photo software on their confusers) true photographic scenes which are much more realistic. 카지노사이트 추천 starting linebackers missed a few tackles, but more than that, they couldn’t get off their blocks and seemed a step too slow. In this game if he kept going back to one side with his looks before the snap three times or more with his head, 70% of the throws went that way (it could’ve been more, but he ran on a few pass plays). But like I said last week, he can’t seem to have a complete game (He missed a few blocks). If we had given him one more possession, he might have won the game. Hoping for more acting roles for Braden in the future! Groups of 20 or more individuals can purchase tickets for $10 general admission or $35 for reserved seating. Ryan got lucky that two passes weren’t picked, but the kid can only do so much. I, for one, moved up from COO to President of Al-Qaeda-in-Iraq in only two short years.
Nelson, who is chairman of the Senate science and space subcommittee, said Friday that President Barack Obama is putting $100 million in planning money for the accelerated asteroid mission in the 2014 budget that comes out next week. Supposedly TOB makes the final call on who starts. Bible and TOB. I’ve certainly been an apologist for both at times. That happened again today, but Bible made a questionable bubble screen call on third and long in the 3rd quarter that killed a drive. What was Bible thinking and how could a team not rush to spike the ball or know to get to the first down? The team did not allow a touchdown. The results of the study showed that, even though perceived near-term usefulness had the most significant influence on the behavioral intention to use a technology, perceived long-term usefulness also exerted a positive, though lesser, impact. The second time he didn’t even see him.
I placed him back into the cold stream and a second or two he was gone. Yet in the second half he was not nearly as patient with his reads and our line didn’t help him much. But whether it is a blog or a website, the bottom line is always online presence, and schools need to have online presence via building school websites. Instead he subjected us to a series of running when he shouldn’t have. North Carolina had success running to the side and away from Kiwi. Over on the left hand side of Remind you will see Chat right under Home. On passing plays he will look to both sides, but keep coming back to one side. Call plays that are designed to get the first down! I understand that Blackmon is our biggest playmaker and the screen is safest way to get the ball in his hand, but expecting him to break a play over and over, especially late in the game, is asking too much. They all should have been worn the way Ricky Berens wore his while competing in the 400-meter freestyle relay preliminaries. The principles have not changed, surely, for people of faith.
A nutritionist is someone that focuses on the study of nutrition, which includes nutritional inadequacies, reasons for nourishment, as well as dietary issues that might deal with people or residential areas. Looking at this stream gives me the feeling someone higher may have been playing the same game. If the remaining 80% could have just been average we win this game. 카지노사이트 주소 are pointing to the Blackmon TD call back as the game changer. In this article, we will study dedicated grenade launching firearms i.e. devices that are only meant to launch grenades and cannot be used as a rifle. The way he organized the new firearms company was by selling all the assets of Volcanic to the New Haven Arms company, with the exception of the patents, which he still kept under his control. Baker had way too much time throughout. NBCSN will air 1 match next Tuesday, December 3 and 1 match next Wednesday, December 4 while NBC Extra Time will air 8 matches on that Wednesday.

College Football Week 11 Scores, Top 25 Testing And Must-see Moments
The mother of 16-year-old Kaylin Johnson stated her last conversation together with her boy had been as he asked authorization to push the vehicle into the YMCA before she went to work - sadly, he never managed to make it there. Then I requested him exactly what he had been doing hanging in North Philly, because We have always thought he existed in West Philly. After Frazier played for my staff, we never saw him once more until four months ago, when I ran into him at a church in North Philadelphia that has been changed into a youth sports center. As a youth baseball advisor, Frazier and Mitchell played to my staff. Your child will better comprehend childhood soccer guidelines and continue steadily to master fundamental soccer practices. Becky Edwards finalized with Florida State in 2006 out of Downington western High School in Downington, Pa., and became one of the better football players in Florida State history. That thirty days, Mitchell ended up being set to graduate from western Philadelphia full of the next a couple of weeks. She averaged 2.83 kills, 0.91 obstructs and 3.51 points per set and earned educational All-ACC honors for a third straight period. She led a defensive backline that set single-season files for shutouts (14) and GAA (0.67) making a location in the ACC All-Freshman Team and also the top-drawer Soccer National All-Freshman Team. He led FSU to its first-ever ACC Championship in 2007 and earned second-team All-America awards for the reason that same junior season. https://mtpolice24.com/ handled kickoffs for the Seminoles as a freshman in 2005 and was FSU’s starting punter and kickoff professional as a sophomore and junior. Brianna Barry was a star on / off the volleyball court from her freshman season in 2006 through her senior year when she became the first Seminole ever before named ACC Player of the Year. Each group contains 5 players from the court at any given time. Before I left the athletic center, I viewed Frazier dominate the baseball judge like an NBA basketball player. On July 26, relatives and buddies attended a memorial for Frazier at Boys Latin senior school. 3 months ago, Boys Latin High School had lost another student to gun assault - Kahree Simmons, a beloved person in the course of 2023, ended up being shot and murdered at Christy Recreation Center. Graham Gano signed with Florida State in 2005 out of Tate senior school in Pensacola and became one of the greatest unique groups players in Seminole baseball history. While I mourn the death of all three teenage boys, I had close dealings with two associated with players. It’s hard to believe that their young life has been tragically taken away. Young children should be cared for and it is difficult to perform a business effectively while taking proper care of kids. That name started an unprecedented run of success. The talented golfer’s All-America job helped launch the Seminoles’ powerful run of success under existing head coach Trey Jones. Former basketball celebrity Toney Douglas, ACC indoor volleyball Player of the Year the belated Brianna Barry, All-American golfer Jonas Blixt, women’s soccer All-American Becky Edwards, 2008 Lou Groza Award winner and present NFL celebrity Graham Gano, retired long-time athletic instructor Randy Oravetz, track-and-field sensation Ngoni Makusha, and Hamilton who is Seminoles’ all-time winningest basketball coach and presently the fifth all-time winningest advisor in ACC history. Florida State University’s Athletics Hall of Fame announced Wednesday the selection of eight brand new members, including current men’s basketball advisor Leonard Hamilton, who will constitute the 2021 class. By itself, it costs $35 four weeks and gets you 43 stations - including NBCSN. He averaged 40.8 yards per punt as a sophomore in 2006, including averaging over 40 or maybe more yards per punt in eight of the Seminoles’ 13 games. Douglas is ranked when you look at the top-10 in seven different statistical categories including job free throw shooting and steals. Toney Douglas used in FSU in 2006 from Auburn, where he attained third-team All-SEC and Freshman All-America awards. Douglas was FSU’s second-leading scorer (12.7 ppg) as a sophomore in 2007, starting 28 games at point shield for the Seminole staff that finished 22-13. As a junior, he led the 2007-08 team in scoring, averaging 15.4 points while leading the ACC in both assists and steals per online game. As a junior, she aided lead the Seminoles for their third consecutive Elite Eight appearance after FSU reached the school Cup the earlier two years. As a junior, she rated 51st when you look at the NCAA with a .349 striking percentage and was called to your CoSIDA/ESPN educational All-District staff. Their senior season was one of the better in FSU history, and it also established this program back in the national spotlight as FSU attained an NCAA bid finishing 25-10 and No. 16 in the united kingdom. She was the 2009 ACC athlete of the season, obtained United states Volleyball Coaches Association All-America 2nd Team awards, ended up being known as All-ACC and was AVCA All-Region after helping lead FSU to the Elite Eight into the 2009 NCAA Tournament, a 31-3 record and your final position of 11th in the nation. Americans’ tend to check out huge stadiums sometimes turns into watching recreations online free, just what gives more options and privileges: any groups in a state and around the world, all sorts of recreations possible, no missed objectives or big performs, possibility to watch recorded plays, etc. Based on this, most free recreation streaming sites cover preferred American games like wrestling, tennis, rugby, football, playing tennis, basketball, ice hockey, baseball, US baseball, and so forth. Edwards started 25 games as a freshman and led the Seminoles with eight helps and five game-winning helps. She began all 27 games as a sophomore scoring three goals and helping three more. Through the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympics, the BBC managed to provide a large number of free livestreams of various sports, revolutionising the way Uk visitors viewed the games and offering necessary promotion to niche events that would maybe not normally have enjoyed their moment in the general public eye. Both Frazier and Mitchell played lots of games for me. With a smile on their face, Frazier told me he had a relative just who existed there. Rahm informed reporters Tuesday. I talked to him and told him how pleased I was to see him. Little did I know it will be the past time I would personally see him with a basketball inside the hand - and now he’s gone. 1st one was held last week at the Christy Recreation Center where he grew up and played baseball. He entered their senior period as a preseason All-American and Ray Guy Award view record user and ended up being slated to become 1st player at school record to deal with all kicking tasks (punt, KOs and field goals).

It Seemed Like a Good Idea at the Time Pt. 3 - Morgan Rielly
Type: roommates to lovers, Y/N insert shorts
Requested: No
Warnings: mentions of CPS, anxiety, insomnia
(Y/N = Your name, no POV change this chapter. It’s all in Y/N POV)
AN: I was planning on putting out a chapter every week, but I just finished this one and I was pretty excited about it. Enjoy!
It had been almost a week since Morgan had moved in, and they were fine. He spent most of his days training or with the guys, and Y/N was busy with teaching and finishing her Masters. They hadn’t spoken much, other than general greetings or a quick text about picking something up from the store, and Y/N was fine with that. She didn’t know how his search for a more permanent place to stay was going, and honestly she was considering letting him stay for the season if he wanted to. He wasn’t loud, and he was pretty clean. Of course it helped that she wasn’t even sure the guy knew how to turn on a stove, let alone cook anything, so he was pretty much never in the kitchen. He was always coming home with takeout or going to get dinner with the guys.
Everything would have been great if it wasn’t for her insomnia choosing now to flare it’s ugly head. It had started her junior year of college; as the courses got harder and real life fast approached, Y/N found herself spending more nights than not awake and anxious. The doctor said it was stress-induced, and that it wouldn’t be permanent, and she was right; it would come for two or three weeks and then she was sleeping fine again. It was the weeks where it flared up that day and night blended together and she found herself making increasingly stupid mistakes. Y/N had always assumed that she would leave the insomnia behind in college, but it had followed her and gotten increasingly worse. Like tonight. She was holed up in her room trying to remember how to breathe as the walls felt like they were closing in around her. It had always been like this on the really bad nights, and the only thing that helped her relax was driving.
Y/N struggled up from her spot on the floor in her room, grabbing her keys and phone with a shaky hand. A trip to the beach. That’s what she needed. She threw on a sweatshirt, her Sox hat, and took a deep breath. Morgan was sitting on the couch watching something, and she tried to sneak past him, to no avail. “Are you going to get food by any chance?”, the giant on her coach asked. Y/N shook her head. “Nah. I’m headed out to the beach.” Morgan paused his movie, turning to face her fully. “The beach? It’s like three hours away.” She smiled slightly, shaking her head. “It’s a little under two, and I need to put my feet in the water. You can come if you’d like,” she said, shocking herself. No one ever came with her on these nighttime beach trips, not even Kat when they lived together. It was her alone time to recharge and just let the ocean air take away all of her problems.
Morgan looked at her face for a moment, almost like he could see the panic she was trying to hide. His eyebrows creased together and his blue eyes met hers searchingly before he stood. Morgan turned off the TV and stepped towards his room, asking, “Am I going to need a jacket?” Y/N nodded. “You might. It can get a little chilly, depending on how strong the wind is. There’s a hurricane off the coast right now, so it might be a little cooler than normal.” He grabbed a sweatshirt from his room quickly along with some shoes, and followed Y/N out the door. Morgan beat her to the door and held it open as she exited, holding out his hand for the keys to lock the door. “Thanks,” she mumbled. He smiled gently at her. “So tell me: what beach are we going to? Do you go there a lot?” He was distracting her, and she knew it. Somehow he knew that she was anxious, and he was trying to help. “We’re going to Wrightsville Beach. It’s about ten minutes from where I went to college, and the beaches are really nice. It’s where I took most of the photos in the apartment.” Morgan hummed in acknowledgment, and they were silent the rest of the trip down to her car.
Y/N’s black Jeep was new and she was beyond proud of it, five years of incoming car payments and all. It was her first “adult” purchase, after the car her parents had given her had died outside of Philly, halfway home from Boston earlier that summer. She had taken the roof and doors off at the beginning of the summer and refused to put them back on, just out of excitement, and it was perfect for the night air. Morgan smiled when he saw her car, nodding at it. “I wondered who this belonged to. I love Jeeps.” Y/N smiled at him. “Yeah, me too. When my old car died recently, I decided to splurge and get myself the car I really wanted. I figured I’m gonna have it until it dies, so I might as well, right?” She jumped into the driver’s side as she spoke, and didn’t miss the frown Morgan threw at her Bruins lanyard as he handed her keys back to her.
“So I’ve gotta ask,” he began as she started the car, “why Boston?” Y/N smiled as she backed out of her parking spot. “I was born up there, and it’s where my parents are from. I grew up a fan of Boston sports.” She tossed Morgan her phone as she spoke. “Pick a playlist to listen to.” He scrolled through her Spotify, silent as he looked. “Is Carolina your second team?” Y/N laughed a little. “Actually, I was raised to hate them. My dad still calls you guys the Whalers, and he hated them when they were still in Hartford. I don’t hate them so much now, and they’re fun to watch, but I hate the announcers, so I don’t usually watch the games unless I’m gonna watch them on mute.”
Morgan snorted at her. “They can’t possibly be that bad.” He clicked on a playlist, scrolling through the songs as she responded. “Trust me. They’re worse than listening to Doc on NBCSN. It’s painful.” Y/N turned onto the highway as she spoke, and it was like a huge weight was lifted off her chest as the wind whipped through her ponytail and pulled some of the hair from under her hat. This was why she drove so much when she couldn’t sleep. The air loosened the tightness in her chest and the driving felt like freedom from all of her problems.
He finally settled on a playlist, and the opening notes of Silver Springs floated through her speakers. “Good choice,” Y/N said, and Morgan smiled. “Looking at your choice in playlists makes me very curious about you as a person. Who listens to broadway, Louis Armstrong, country, Dropkick Murphys, and movie songs?” Movie songs? “You mean film scores?” you asked confusedly. “I listen to those when I need to really concentrate.” You could feel Morgan looking at you as you focused on the road, and you spared a glance at him as you got onto the exit that would take you to I-40. He didn’t look satisfied. “ I grew up with a diverse music interest. Why? What do you listen to?” Morgan shrugged. “Honestly, most of the time I’m listening to whatever the guys are playing in the locker room. It’s usually some kind of rap or something upbeat, so I like it a little more chill at home.”
They drove in peaceful silence for most of the ride, only speaking for her to request a song change or for Morgan to ask a random question about Wilmington or crack a joke. It was nice, a pleasant change from her usual drives alone. The drive was fast, mostly due to a general lack of traffic, though that was probably because it was almost one in the morning and most people were in bed or at a bar. About halfway through the drive they switched over to country, and Morgan made her laugh with an exaggerated country accent as he sang along. Listening to a canadian try to imitate a southern accent was almost as bad as listening to a southerner do a Boston accent, and Y/N tried convincing him to never do that again.
They hit Wilmington suddenly, and Y/N was shocked at how quickly the drive had gone by. She took on the tone of a tour guide as they drove along the familiar WIlmington streets, pointing out places that meant a lot to her during her four years in the town. “I wish we had come a little bit earlier. There’s this taco place I loved that I haven’t had in forever. I used to eat there almost every week. The queso is incredible.” Morgan jumped in before she could say anything else. “I thought you said you were lactose intolerant?” Y/N smiled, taking a deep breath as they drove over the bridge onto Wrightsville Beach. “I am, but Islands is so worth it.” The smell of salty ocean filled the air as they drove past the condos and vacation rentals that made up a majority of that side of the island.
They hit the tip of the island quickly, and Y/N smiled as she pulled into the parking lot of her favorite beach access. She had barely put the car in park before she was jumping out, shoes left in the floorboard. Morgan caught up with her at the waterline, where her feet were already in the surf and she was taking deep breaths of the ocean air. “You weren’t kidding when you said you like the ocean, eh?” Y/N smiled at him, shaking her head. “This is my go-to escape. There’s nothing quite like the ocean air.” She turned and began walking along the water, the waves hitting halfway up her shins. Morgan followed alongside her, and their shoulders bumped occasionally. “There’s a spot at the very end of the island up here that’s absolutely beautiful. When the tide comes in, it sits about 2 inches deep on this one part of the beach before it just totally drops off. If we get lucky, we might get to see some bioluminescent plankton.” She could see Morgan looking at her confused, so she explained before he could ask. “They’re these things in the water that glow in the dark. It’s wicked cool, and you can only see them at the two tips of the island.” He nodded.
They made it to the tip of the island after about 20 minutes of walking, and it was one of the most fun beach trips she’d made in a while. It was nice to come alone and enjoy the silence, but she’d forgotten how nice it was to walk and have someone to talk to. Morgan had asked her questions about her life, and her time in Wilmington, and just about everything else. In return, she’d learned a little bit more about him. It was one of the most effortless conversations she could remember having in a long time.
“So we’re working baseball, and one of my coworkers knows basically nothing. It starts when she says ‘sweep’. We were all like Sam, no! So then, a little while later, she says ‘guys I’m feeling extras today,’” Y/N retold animatedly. “No!” Morgan exclaimed, his eyes lighting up with disbelief. “Yes! And then we go to fourteen innings and lose!” She laughed. “We never let her live that down. We were still telling new hires about it two years later when I graduated. They might still be telling people, honestly.” Morgan laughed as she spoke, listening intently to every word. “So did you like your job?” Y/N nodded. “Yeah. I mean I got paid to do physical labor and watch sports. It was the ideal college job, honestly.” Morgan nodded in agreement.
Y/N reached into the water with her hand, shaking it quickly to splash the water around. Bits of glowing blue appeared around her hand, and she looked up to see Morgan looking down in amazement. “These are the bioluminescent plankton.” He pulled out his phone quickly, recording the flashing blue surrounding her hand. “Are they harmful?” He asked. “No,” she responded, standing and drying off her hand. “They’re just really cool ocean creatures.”
They moved up the beach together, out of the surf and into dry sand. Y/N flopped down, laying back to look at the stars. It was dark enough here to see some of the constellations, and she smiled up at them contentedly. Morgan sank down next to her, laying back with his hands behind his head. “This is nice,” he said quietly. “Thanks for letting me join you.” Y/N held out a fist for him to bump. “Thanks for joining me. It’s been fun.” Morgan touched his fist with hers and then draped his arm across his chest. “So I noticed you fist bump a lot. There any reason for that?”
“I’m a hugger,” Y/N explained, chuckling softly. “I know most people aren’t, so I get the physical contact through fist bumps, which most people don’t mind.” Morgan turned his head from the stars to her face, searching it. “If you need a hug, you just need to ask. I like hugs.” She smiled at him, starting to nod until she felt the sand scratch her cheek. “Thanks, Morgan. I appreciate that.” They stayed like that for a while, alternating between looking at each other and the stars as they talked about nothing until Morgan checked his phone. “It’s almost six am,” he said, sounding surprised. Y/N sat up slightly, squinting at the phone screen he was displaying for her. “Well damn,” she said, standing. “You don’t have morning skate, do you?” Morgan followed suit, dusting off his legs as he responded. “No, we have the day off. We travel to Nashville tomorrow morning.” They began walking back in the direction they came. Two and a half hours. They had laid there and talked for almost two and a half hours.
“So I’ve been wanting to ask, and feel free to not answer this if it feels too personal, but do you get really anxious like earlier a lot?” Y/N could tell that he didn’t ask out of anything but concern, and it confirmed what she’d already suspected; he’d read her like a book. “Only when I get really stressed out. I have these periods of insomnia that are sometimes marked by enough anxiety that I need to drive to calm down. I usually go for drives around the city, but sometimes I drive out here if it’s really bad.” Morgan stopped her with a hand on her arm, looking into her eyes seriously. “Did I trigger this round? Is having me in your apartment too stressful?” Y/N grabbed his free hand tightly. “No! No, it’s not your fault. I just have a lot going on in my classroom, and I’m almost finished with my Masters. It felt like too much this week, but you’re fine. You definitely aren’t part of the problem.” Morgan looked into her eyes for another few seconds, and was apparently satisfied with whatever he saw there. “Do you want to talk about what’s going on in your classroom?”
She sighed and began to walk again. “I can’t tell you much, just because it’s about my students, but I’ve had to call CPS a few times already regarding one of my students and they’re basically just ignoring my concerns. If it was a minor issue I wouldn’t be so stressed, but I’m seriously concerned about the safety of this student and I can’t do anything but keep making reports.” Morgan listened intently to everything she said, nodding along. “That sucks, Y/N,” he said, gently throwing an arm across your shoulders. She sunk into the half-hug, allowing him to support some of her weight as they walked along the beach. “I’m hoping they’ll have to respond if I make enough reports, but I’m not holding my breath.” She took a deep breath, and tried to push the issue from her brain for now. That was an issue for Monday. “So since it’s already almost six, do you want to get breakfast at this local coffee chain when they open? They open at six, and they have great coffee and even better breakfast sandwiches.” Morgan nodded, distracted by something on the skyline. The sun was coming up, and the line right along the water was already a brilliant orange.
They walked in silence for a little while, watching the sun slowly rise over the water. Morgan was still quiet when they made it to Port City Java, and he only spoke again when he had taken his first sip of coffee. “How do you do it?” He asked suddenly. Y/N put down her sandwich, lifting an eyebrow at him confusedly. “Do what?” He gestured out into the distance. “Teach kids. Watch them get hurt and only be able to make reports. Hamilton told me about the school that you teach at. How do you teach those kids and know that a lot of them won’t graduate, won’t go to college?” Y/N paused to think about her response before she spoke. “I do it because I look at those kids and I see a lot of hope. They want to learn. A lot of them come to school already behind because they don’t have access to preschool, and the state has already given up on them because they’re in public school, but they still care. They still try unbelievably hard to catch up. My coworkers and I joke that North Carolina hates teachers, but really?” She gestured with her hands, pointing at everything and nothing. “They just hate public education. They put their kids in private and charter schools. They don’t care what happens to the kids in public ed as long as the press doesn’t say anything.” Y/N sighed, shrugging her shoulders. “I love those kids. There’s nowhere else I’d rather be, but it kills me to see the system working against them. I know the statistics. I know what will happen to most of them, but I can’t help but hope that I can help at least one of them beat what the stats say.” Morgan stared at her as she finished talking, long enough that she started to feel a little uncomfortable. Finally he reached out a hand, gripping one of hers. “I think you’ve definitely found the right profession.” He smiled at her, and she couldn’t help but smile back.

Nationals 2019 Ladies SP
Alright ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the 2019 Nationals.
Tonight we have the ladies’ short programs. I’m not sure I’m going to go into detail with every skater. There are just too many competitors, but I will cover the top ladies for sure. Fair warning as always, I don’t like Bradie Tennell. Expect my comments to reflect that.
So here we go...
This first group contains Alysa Liu who is the young skater I mentioned earlier, though it is the triple axel she has, not the quad. She’s younger than I thought.
I do want to mention, I caught some of the junior ladies earlier this week. We have some lovely up and comers who will be fun to watch in the coming years.
I rather liked Pooja Kaylan. She has a lot of speed, solid jumps. Needs a little better choreography but lovely.
Oh, Alysa Liu is a little cutie! Lovely triple axel as well! Still needs a little refinement, but that comes with age and time. She’s still young at 13. And she’s clean! Lots of speed in her spins! Wow! A BAM! finish. Fantastic! A great score that’ll compete with the top ladies.
Switched over to NBCSN for a second and was actually surprised to hear Tara and Johnny admit that Tennell hasn’t made an impact internationally. Now that Olympic year is over and the USFSA isn’t trying to push the ‘golden child’, might we see a more fair commentating? Yay for Johnny recognizing the talented Mariah Bell who has slowly made a name for herself the last few years.
Is Emmy Ma related to Jimmy Ma? Her skating style reminds me a bit of his, the expression, the commitment to it. She drew me in. I enjoyed her.
Ouch! That fall looked painful for Courtney Hicks. She’s mever really made an impression on me, but this is an interesting program. Just not her best.
Mariah Bell is next. She’s had a great season so far and she loves this short. I hope Adam Rippon keeps choreographing. He feels music in a way few can and he could easily become one of the greats. Mariah has a lot of speed. Looks like some underrotating in the triple-triple, but she’s certainly performing. Very lovely. She’s not thrilled with it, but I love her. Not bad score. Sets her up well for the long.
Keep in mind, even if Alysa wins, she’s too young to go to Worlds (like the entire Russian Nationals podium) so likely the next three two placements will go to Worlds.
And the final group has Tennell and Starr. This will be an interesting group.
I feel like I’ve seen Amber Glenn for years now (like Courtney Hicks). Ones that are always there but never really breaking through.
Ting Cui has a very soft, pretty skating style. Too bad about her falls, but she is a very delicate, soft skater.
Tennell is next. I’m never going to like her skating, but I will give her credit. This short program is miles better than last year. Technical-wise, Alyssa should remain ahead of her. If Tennell is placed first, it’s obvious the fix is in. That said, this is the best Tennell has skated this program all year. She definitely had a lot of speed. I still don’t like her, but even I’ll admit, she was great tonight.
Silver platter.
There’s no way she should be ahead of Alysa, and definitely not by THREE FUCKING POINTS. Clean or not, the triple axel should have had enough points to keep Tennell in second. Not to mention that’s the best score of the USA ladies all season so far, right? A clean Tennell is barely middle of the pack internationally and she was barely breaking the 60s in the fall. Nationals’ scores are always inflated. Remember that.
Amber Glenn is emoting the hell out of this song, which every time I hear only reminds me of the amazing dance from So You Think You Can Dance. Nice job for her. That said, her dress needs to be darker. It’s too pale for her skin tone.
Hanna Harrell’s dress is reminding me of something but I can’t figure out what! Points to her for keeping her eyes up in her senior debut. It takes most ladies a couple of years to accomplish that. Fiesty little thing, isn’t she?
Alright, last year, the breakout was Miss Starr Andrews. She’s struggled this fall, but I’m hoping she’ll do better this year. A little messy on the landing but damn if she didn’t fight to stay on her feet. She’s got a lot more confidence tonight, that’s for sure, and skating with a lot more maturity. Still, apparently technically she was a little messy even on the spins. She won’t break the top three, but she should still be in the final group tomorrow night. Ouch, maybe not. That was harsh.
Akari Nakahara is another very lovely skater. She reminds me of some of the Japanese ladies. Sweet smile through the program. Still needs some refinement definitely, but a pleasure to watch.
Alright, so some surprises tonight but really not too many. Tennell in first, of fucking course. Alysa Liu is the breakout this season. She has two triple axels planned in the long and if she lands them cleanly, Tennell is going to have to skate the best she has ever skated to win fairly. I wouldn’t put it past the USFSA judges to place Tennell first to give her that boast if both are clean. A two-time National champion does have a better reputation internationally.
I want to go back and look at the Component scores, see the difference. And they downgraded Alysa on a triple loop, so that could be the difference. Tomorrow will be interesting indeed.
Wow, this got long. Well, that’s it for tonight. Tomorrow, is the short dance and the ladies free. I haven’t decided on covering the dance this year, but I will be back tomorrow for the ladies.
Quick note, I’m loving Ashley as a commentator at Europeans. She’s very quiet compared to Johnny and Tara. It’s a nice change as was listening to Charlie White and Michael Weiss on the NBC Gold Pass.
Edited to note: There are actually only 2 Ladies spots for Worlds, not 3 like I originally stated. I didn’t realize our ladies did that badly, I was so burnt out by then.

NBCSN kept showing Brad Marchand during the anthems, and he just looks so distressed? Like, does he always look so freaked out?

New Look Sabres: GM 36 - WSH - Frustration in Washington
Tumblr media
Perhaps the strangest thing about this Buffalo Sabres season isn’t how high the club sits in the standings entering the Christmas holiday. Maybe it’s the upside down way the team is inconsistent with some matchups versus others. We have plenty of time to celebrate, especially during this holiday season, and we’ll continue to do that. The strange thing is playing neck and neck, shot for shot, taking the defending Stanley Cup Champion Washington Capitals to a shootout while that team is on an unreal point streak and three nights later losing to the worst team in the Atlantic Division. While the Sabres continue to bank points this way some may say don’t get too high or low: as strange as the way they’re playing is now you always got to look at the big picture in those standings. I am a big picture kind of guy and trust me, I look at those standings religiously, but the roller coaster ride that we’re on right now: I am screaming up every incline, down every hill and through every loop. I took a bet naming this blog “New Look Sabres” hoping they wouldn’t have another trash season or worse. That bet having paid off with a top ten team in this league only made me commit to this crazy train harder. This ain’t the blog for reasoned postgame as it sometimes charades around being: this blog is the roller coaster SabreWagon! Some ask: are you in? I ask: Are you holding on? Real roller coasters don’t have rest stops! So get ready because tonight the ride goes through America’s Capital!
The first period was about as much a roller coaster ride as a scoreless period could be. On one hand the Sabres turned in defensive effort that I found very Sabs-like. It certainly isn’t easy containing the offense of the Capitals and a top line of Ovechkin-Backstrom-Oshie but by the sounds of it Carter Hutton was left out to dry a little bit too much. Each team got their powerplay opportunity but didn’t cash in yatta yatta yatta. On the other hand, the Sabres had their chances in period Washington did not score. Conor Sheary had at least two gorgeous opportunities. Tage Thompson made his presence known and you know that top line fired on all cylinders including a Jack Eichel shot that went off the post. Braden Holtby was in net this time so the Sabres didn’t have the benefit of facing a goalie who hasn’t won a Veznia Trophy. I was wrapping up some Christmas stuff, quite literally at one point, during this game so I listened to most of it. I count my lucky stars about that because apparently Washington DC is one of their markets where they have their own NBC Sports affiliate therefore the NBCSN national broadcasts are done by the homers. That was annoying when I did get to it. The first period ended 0-0 and you may have thought the Sabres deserved a goal after that period. Seeing the replays it’s pretty hard to disagree with that thought.
The Second period was more or less the same story only this time the frustration got a shorthanded goal by the opposition injected into its veins! Chandler Stephenson got sprung by the Caps defenders onto a breakaway and Rasmus Ristolainen just couldn’t quite get him as he wired it around Hutton. That goal may have been a little suspect for those with refined tastes as you can see Hutton is somewhat out of position moving to his right as Stephenson fires the puck left. Nonetheless the visiting Sabres looked to make up for his lack of stop and the shots from both sides continued until 11:50 of the middle frame when a Caps shot leaked in on Hutton and well… it crossed the line, let’s all just be honest here. There are plenty of freeze frames we can see that one fully crossed the line but even after further review the referees in this game called in no goal. The period went on and Kuznetsov got a chance along with a couple of Russian rockets from Ovechkin that miraculously did not go. As the period neared its end Rasmus Ristolainen got in past the Capitals defenders and his breakaway was only broken up by a Brendan Holtby sliding that puck off his stick. Holtby must have come out almost all the way to the blue line to kill this play. The home crowd loved it but I always get a kick in a more humorous way watching those heavily padded goalies wade around on ice like newborn doe. This period ends with the Caps up 1-0.
The final period of this game is where the rollercoaster finally got thrilling high up in the air instead of several loops and spins on the ground. After his line crashed the Caps net like you’d think this team is going to get an award for, Johan Larsson pulled off another goal where he was in the right place at the right time, not even looking at Holtby redirecting the Thompson shot up high on Holtby and in for the equalizer. Still listening to the radio at this point I smashed my dashboard and gave my wife a little Yuletide fright. I thought it was the beginning of a little comeback. Turns out when your only goal scorer is Johan Larsson, in spite of however many shots better players take, your score sheet is going to make you feel a little sad. So the rollercoaster goes back down, with 7 minutes left in regulation Tom Wilson of all people capitalizes on Hutton overplaying the puck behind his own net and puts the Caps up 2-1 where it would remain until the horn blew giving the Sabres their second straight regulation loss. There was a late Sabres powerplay that of course did nothing and a little squabble in front of the Caps net which got Dahlin’s helmet pulled off. That was fun as I finally reached a screen to watch this. But yea, if you blamed the first goal on Hutton then there is no way you’re not blaming the second on him. I struggle to not blame the first on him but hey, when your goal scorers don’t score you’re probably going to lose, no matter how much you think you deserve it. There is a surplus of frustration in Washington DC right now so evidently we were given some to take with us. Still holding on?
The Anaheim Ducks are performing better and as you read this today it’s probably no comfort knowing they have been sitting in Buffalo for a few days as the Sabres got out to Washington for this game. Do you think they sat around and watched this game as team? I got to imagine that interferes with team dinnertime. The Sabres put down the Ducks in their last matchup and in spite of how the Ducks have leaned on a great goalie all the way to third in the Pacific Division since then I wouldn’t think he’s an unsolvable wall. Ryan Miller is out injured unfortunately so we won’t be enjoying that reunion again today. The other goalie not named the impenetrable John Gibson is another former Sabre Chad Johnson who Buffalonians miss the same way one misses taxes or the doctor’s office. They’re on a two game losing streak as well coming into tonight’s game. So who’s going to be dealt their third regulation loss in a row? Let’s hop on that rollercoaster and hope it’s the Ducks!
I will be posting a piece called something like “Midseason Thoughts” at some point before the Sabres’ 41st game on January 3rd. If you read this far I have to imagine you read this far somewhat normally so leave a comment. I want to have that post have some kind of self-reflection not entirely rooted in my own tire-pumping, if you don’t want to be identified that’s fine too, just let me know. Drop a like and share this blog as you travel to your Christmas destinations this weekend. This next game tonight is Buffalo’s last game before the very Merry Holiday and I would love a win to think back on for Christmas!
Thanks for reading.
P.S. I don’t know why I described each Ducks goalie there. It’s worth noting the beloved former Sabres goalie Ryan Miller is one win away from becoming the winningest American-born goalie ever. Wow, I feel multiple different levels of pride at that stat.

Tumblr media
Your eyes flutter open, the soft morning light breaking through the curtains and casting a warm glow over the bed. You lift your arms above your head, stretching out, as you turn and look over. Instead of Morgan being asleep, which is what you had expected, he’s staring at you, a small smile on his face.
“Good morning.” You mutter, running a hand through his hair as Morgan lays a kiss to your forehead. A year ago, you would have found waking up in bed to a guy staring at you to be super creepy, but now, that’s one of your favorite sights.
“Morning.” The cut on Morgan’s face from the high stick he got last night looks even worse this morning, and he winces as you rub your thumb over it.
“Still can’t believe the guy who did this didn’t get a major.” You complain as Morgan laces his fingers with yours.
“You always say that whenever I get hit.”
“You were bleeding, Mo!” You counter.
“Well, I’m lucky that I have such a good girlfriend at home to take care of me.” You flush and look away, grabbing your phone to check the time.
“Ugh, I should get back to my apartment and check on my mail. My roommates probably think I’m dead or something.” Morgan stares at you for a long moment, looking like he wants to say something. He opens his mouth and then closes it, shaking his head and blushing. “What’s up, Mo?”
“It’s nothing baby, don’t worry.” You can’t help the smile that tugs at your lips as you finally decide to sit up.
“If you’re sure. I’m gonna take a quick shower before I head out.” You grab some spare clothes from the drawer designated as yours, Mo’s eyes following you the whole time.
“I think you still have shampoo and stuff over here.” Morgan points out. Peeking into the bathroom, you can see that he’s right.
“Yeah, I do.” Just before you close the bathroom door, Morgan calls out your name.
“You, uh, need some company?” He asks, a cheeky grin on his face. You smirk, holding onto the doorframe.
“You might wanna go back to sleep, Mo, you have a better chance of that happening in your dreams.” You wink and shut the door, Morgan’s loud groan becoming muffled.
You don't often get to go on dates with Morgan. Between him always having practice or a game and you working and going to school, it just doesn't fit in either of your schedules. So you're surprised tonight when Morgan texts you to meet him at his place for a date night. You don't even have to knock before Morgan flings open the door, a grin on his face.
“(Y/N)!” Morgan exclaims, grabbing your arm and pulling you into the apartment. You lay a friendly pat onto Maggie’s head as she bounces around you and Morgan, excited at the commotion.
“Hey Mo, what’s the occasion for tonight?” A smirk plays at his lips as he leans down to kiss your cheek.
“What, I can’t just take my beautiful girlfriend out because she deserves it?”
“You can, but we’re not just going to drink beer and make fun of Pierre McGuire on NBCSN?”
“Although I would love to do that, I kind of want to change things up tonight.” Morgan’s shifting his weight from one foot to another, a blush coloring his cheeks as he avoids meeting your gaze. Your eyes narrow in suspicion; you’ve dated Morgan for long enough to know when he’s nervous about something, and tonight he’s definitely nervous about something.
“So what do you have in mind for tonight?” You ask, deciding to indulge him.
“It’s a surprise.” You groan, letting your head fall back; you hate surprises and Morgan knows it. “It’s a good one baby, I promise!”
“Promise?” Morgan wraps an arm around your shoulders and starts leading you out of the door.
“I promise.”
“That was the worst. I’m so sorry, (Y/N).” You drop your bag on the ground as Morgan kicks his shoes off, not caring about how the smack against the wall. The night had very obviously not gone to plan. Morgan had planned a nice dinner at your favorite restaurant, but the waiter spilled the tray of food on your shirt. After assuring the poor teenager that it was okay (you had experience in the service industry too, unfortunately) and leaving him a nice tip to quell his fears that he would lose his job, you let Morgan lead you on a walk through the park where you had first met. That, of course, was ruined when it started pouring rain. Even the drive back was terrible, with Morgan’s car hydroplaning and getting stuck in the ditch, forcing the two of you to push it out of the muddy ditch. Needless to say, your outfit was completely ruined.
“Mo, it’s fine. None of this was your fault.” Morgan huffs and runs a hand through his hair.
“Baby, you’re covered in mud and food and you’re soaking wet!” You rub a comforting hand on his bicep, peeling your coat off and hanging it on the same hook with Morgan’s hockey gear that needs to be washed.
“And that’s okay. They’re just clothes, they can be replaced.” You walk into Morgan’s bedroom, grabbing a pair of sweatpants from your drawer and stealing one of Morgan’s hoodies. Slipping into the comfortable clothes, you leave your ruined clothes in the bathroom and walk back into the living room, where Morgan’s still fuming. He glances up at you and you watch the stress melt off of his face when he sees you in his clothes, a small smile playing at his lips.
“You’re wearing my hoodie.” You fall onto the couch, grabbing Morgan’s hand and pulling him down with you.
“Like you’re gonna complain about it.” You counter, leaning your head on his shoulder. “It’s okay, Morgan. I just like being with you. We didn’t have to go on some fancy date, I could take a week’s worth of finals in the span of a day and I’d be okay with it as long as you were there.”
“I just wanted tonight to be perfect.” You look up at Morgan, not sure what he’s getting at.
“Why did tonight need to be perfect?” You ask. Morgan sighs and sits you up, facing you on the couch.
“(Y/N), I love you. I’ve never loved anyone more than I love you. I love how you always sing, no matter what you’re doing. I love how fired up you get about hockey. I even love how every time you try to cook, you end up setting something on fire.” You’re confused, but you can’t help but to smile at Morgan’s ernest tone.
“What are you getting at?”
“I want to spend the rest of my life with you, baby.” He starts to reach into his pocket and your heart races.
“Morgan…” Upon seeing the concerned look on your face, he gasps.
“No don’t worry, I’m not proposing...yet.” He winks at you and places a key in your hand. You turn it over in your hands, not sure what it goes to.
“Wait, is this your house key?” Morgan nods.
“Move in with me. You basically already live here, and it’s more of a hassle than anything to have to pay your rent for an apartment that you don’t even live in. I love you, and I don’t want to wait any longer than we have to to take this next step in our relationship. So? What do you say?” You’re not sure why this is making you emotional, but tears are filling your eyes as you nod.
“Oh Mo, of course! But I can’t just up and leave. My lease isn’t up yet.”
“Find a subleaser.” You always love how easy it is for Morgan to find a solution.
“Okay.” Morgan grins widely, eagerly kissing your face.
“We’re really doing this?” You nod, laughing at Morgan’s excitement.
“We’re doing this!”
“Maggie!” The lab’s head snaps up at the sound of her name. “Your mom’s moving in with us!” Maggie immediately bounds over to the two of you, jumping onto the couch and licking your face. You snuggle into Morgan, Maggie eventually settling down and laying over both of your laps.
“I think I can get used to this.” You say as you lace your hand with Morgan’s.
“Welcome home, baby.”

6 photos of Derrick Henry making NFL RBs look like children
Tumblr media
Derrick Henry makes most people look small, including fellow NFL running backs.
Derrick Henry is, and always has been, a large human being.
The Tennessee Titans star stands 6’3, 247 pounds, making him the heaviest running back in the NFL right now. Since 2011, the average for the position at the NFL Combine has been 5’11, 219 pounds.
Even back in his days at Yulee High School in Northeast Florida, Henry was listed at 6’3, 240 pounds. He used that huge size mismatch to score an absurd 153 touchdowns (55 in his senior year alone) with a national-record 12,124 rushing yards in four seasons at Yulee.
Henry found success in the college ranks too, winning a Heisman Trophy at Alabama. And now he’s running over folks in the NFL. Henry won the league rushing title in 2019 with 1,540 yards and 16 touchdowns. He also just became the first player ever with 180 rushing yards in three consecutive games. Henry is smashmouth football personified.
It’s not just his size causing opponents problems. Henry is surprisingly explosive for a player of his stature. In the last three seasons, he’s scored seven touchdowns of more than 65 yards — five rushing and two receiving. That’s tied with Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill, a 185-pound speedster, for the NFL lead over that span. No other player has more than five.
Keep that kind of home-run hitting speed in mind when you look at these photos of Henry next to other NFL running backs.
Mark Ingram, 2016 and 2020
Perhaps the most famous of the “wow, Henry makes that guy look teeny” is this photo from the 2016 College Football Playoff National Championship. Ingram — winner of the 2009 Heisman Trophy winner — looked tiny next to 2015 Heisman winner Henry during the coin toss.

— Mike Golic (@espngolic) January 12, 2016
While the angle doesn’t do Ingram any favors, he’s 5’9. Henry has a half foot and more than 30 pounds on his fellow Alabama alum.
The two met up again in 2020 after the Titans beat the Ravens in the Divisional Round and, yep, Henry’s still a giant compared to Ingram.

Eddie Lacy, 2016
Once upon a time, Lacy was the NFL’s preeminent large running back. While he didn’t win a Heisman Trophy at Alabama, he won three BCS Championships and was a second-round NFL Draft pick by Green Bay.
Lacy weighed 231 pounds at the NFL Combine, but weight issues plagued much of his professional career. When he signed a contract with the Seahawks in 2017, part of his contract stipulated that he weigh no more than 250 pounds.
A byproduct of his battle to slim down in 2016 — his final year with the Packers — was this photo with Henry:

Dion Lewis, 2018
Tennessee probably made a mistake by giving Lewis a four-year, $19.8 million deal in free agency in 2018. The former Patriots running back has scored just three touchdowns in 34 total games with the Titans.
What he has provided, however, is a great photo complement to Henry.

Lewis is only 5’8, but he’s solidly built at 195 pounds. Still, in two years as Henry’s teammate, he’s been in several photos that make you ask yourself, “Henry’s gotta be jumping in that picture, right?”

Alas, the Henry-Lewis tandem will probably split up during the 2020 offseason. The Titans can save over $4 million in cap space by parting with Lewis after the season ends. That’s an easy decision to make, considering Lewis was on the field for a total of 18 snaps in the Titans’ playoff wins over the Patriots and Ravens.
Henry’s set to be a free agent in the offseason, but it seems unlikely that the Titans will allow him to hit the open market — especially after he bulldozed them straight into the AFC Championship.
Hopefully, the Titans can find another diminutive running back to make Henry look like The Hulk.
Khalfani Muhammad, 2017
Muhammad was almost that running back for the Titans, but the 2017 seventh-round pick was released by the team in 2018. He’s with the Broncos now, though he still hasn’t played in a regular season game.
Thankfully, he did appear in this photo with Henry before his stint with the Titans ended.

Muhammad is just 5’7, 174 pounds, so most NFL players make him look little. Henry more so than others.
Jalston Fowler, 2016 and 2013
Fullbacks generally aren’t supposed to look petite. They’re bowling balls that clear the way for running backs by ramming into linebackers.
Fowler is 5’11, 261 pounds — which would make him a beefy fullback compared to most running backs. Not Henry, though.

Fowler used to block for Henry at Alabama prior to their reunion with the Titans, and he appeared small by comparison then too.

Fred Taylor, 2012
Taylor retired in 2011, five years before Henry was drafted by the Titans. The longtime Jaguars running back wasn’t a slight back by any stretch, measuring in at 6’1, 228 pounds.
So that’s what makes a photo of a high school-aged Henry meeting with Taylor that much more remarkable.

Henry is 18 in that photo and Taylor is 36.
A’Shawn Robinson, 2016
Perhaps it’s good to have a reminder that Henry is, in fact, human. Here he is sitting next to his former Alabama teammate A’Shawn Robinson (who’s definitely not a running back) at a press conference in January 2016.

Robinson is supposedly 20 years old that photo, although it’s possible he was born at age 37. He’s now a defensive tackle for the Lions, and we thank him for providing proof that Henry can be made to seem by someone.
