#theyre like the gods of my oc universe in the sense that they created the life on earth and other planets #but the 'real' god of the universe or whatever created them #so basically this god wanted to test out creating lifeforms and made this group of like 50 ish beings and kind of left them alone to see #what they would do #and over time one of them named iadora became kind of the community elected leader #but iadora didnt like xiomara because she didnt like to follow rules very much so she got in trouble a lot lol #but xiomara did try following the rules most of the time. including the ones barring them from using their abilities like creating life + #manipulating time but just a tiny amount. #but then iadora over time kind of went mad with power. thought nothing good would ever come of their society. #broke the rules she set up and made a little lifeform of her own to basically use as a weapon of mass destruction #but xiomara saw her talking to this thing when she was sneaking around where she wasnt supposed to be #and got uneasy about her intentions so she went to warn iris bc they had an upcoming meeting the next day #iris didnt really think it was going to be bad because she had more faith in iadora but to make xiomara worry less she agreed to skip too #so at the next meeting their whole civilization was basically destroyed while they were away. xiomara regretted not warning more people #even though they wouldnt have listened to her anyway. and tried to use the minimal time powers to turn back time but nothing was working #they managed to locate the god that made them and begged for help but she refused because she was too upset about #her attempt at creating life being a failure and them being there reminded her of it. so then xiomara and iris were just left on their own #but the debris left from the destruction formed some planets. and they decided they would try to populate them by creating some lifeforms #so they wouldnt be lonely anymore. but they basically restricted themselves to their 'afterlife' place so they would never #go mad with power and destroy it all or anything. but then in case things were going horribly wrong #they made the concept of some people having a special link with them that develops when they get older #so if something is going wrong they can try to get them to help. but also these people have their own free will so they can choose #to ignore them completely and do whatever #and these people are completely randomly chosen. or whatever #i dont feel like going into it now #as if i didnt just write a whole wall of tags #em.txt #ocs
