hi there!! have you watched the snapcube sonic fandubs and if so what do you think of them? (came over here from the 'ask me anything post' lol)

I have! I've actually watched them before I became a Sonic fan, because my bestie has been a big Sonic fan since their childhood and they showed them to me. We've watched with a group of friends through discord, and I've also shown them to my other friends as well. (I loved when the "What are you two fucking talking about" scene came and my friend was like "Oh THIS is where that's from" XD)

I personally enjoy them, the Sonic 06 one is my personal favorite. There are many good quotes and moments, and I reference them occasionally. I do agree that sometimes people reference them a bit too much, but that's not really the fault of the dubs themselves.

In Sonic Adventure 2 (Hero Story) knuckles reveals that he and Amy haven't seen each other since that year.

In Sonic '06 Eggman reveals he's been craving gamer d*ck since that year.

In Marvel's Spider-Man Peter acquires a living mask and Martin Li reveals it was birthed by a woman named Rebecca in 1907 (which may or may not be the name of his wife).

In the Resident Evil 2 Dub there's a reference to the founding of the UPS, which happened irl in 1907.

In the same Dub Ada Wong claimes to the librarian, Mr X, that she hasn't taken out a library book since that year.

Knuckles reveals in Sonic Riders that this was the year he graduated from Princton University (meaning that he's somewhere around 124 years old and that Amy is presumably not much younger).

In Until Dawn (part 2) a character refers to the "echnida incident of 1907."

I know the explanation behind this joke is probably mundane but I want to know it's origins so badly, and I really want to know what the echidna incident was.
