If you could change any major part of the vanilla naming system, what would it be?

Like I've seen some folks talk about dropping -kit and -paw from names, and I'm partial to cats earning titles instead of new names

I really love the simplicity of the naming system, with the two words that come together to describe the cat. The prefix being the "true" description, and the suffix being like a "verb." It's intuitive to me.

If I did do anything though, I'd love to make name changes more common, and have degrees of "honor" on them.

I've thought about the idea of a kitten starting with a "First" name, which is not holy and ergo not a true name in the eyes of StarClan (and not offensive to potential fading kits). This would be a deeply personal thing, which only the Mi, the Kit, and the closest kin would be told, people who directly interact with the children. The first words whispered into a newborn's ear, before even being considered a person.

First Name examples: Smallone, Quicklykicks, Piggysqueak.

These names are VERY cute, and usually reference some actions they did at birth. Use as an apprentice or a warrior is VERY personal, and can be overfamiliar even between siblings.

Then, on seeing their first full moon, a kit is given its First Rank. I don't hate the -kit prefix, in fact, I really like the way Clan Culture is basically priming them to want to earn more titles from a young age. Look closely, and you'll realize it's part of socializing them to want to serve the collective

But that's less of a "change," and more "something I already am doing in BB"

I would allow a lot more flexibility in apprentice prefix changes, though. I think it would be neat if there were occasionally apprentices who decided they wanted new names, either because the old one didn't fit, or because they lost someone and wanted to carry on their legacy.

Have changing your name be something you're allowed to play with as an apprentice, but an adult warrior is expected to outgrow it.

And WARRIOR names, I'm super fond of my Honor and Dishonor Title systems tbh. I might expand on it if I was being more divergent but I'm really happy with them.

So I wouldn't really change much, honestly, besides The First Name. I do really like coming up with cool naming systems though, lmao.

hi, there is yes! it involves adjusting the size of several containers to make sure the images still fit within the character box. it will cause the whole character box to become bigger so they'll get spaced over the page less evenly because of it. for this example let's say you want to increase the size of the images by 50px

look in the css of the code for "item {}" and add 50 to the values of "height" and "width". below "item {}", you will find "i-container {}" and "i-big {}", also add 50 to the "height" and "width" entries here. this will resize the character box, the image container, and the single big image option respectively!

for the smaller images, these are the size of the full single image - 4 / 2. this means instead of adding 50 to the values of the "height" and "width" entries, you'll have to add 25 instead! do this for "i-smallone {}", "i-smalltwo {}", "i-smallthree {}" and "i-smallfour {}", all listed below the previously mentioned css sections!

it should now look like this:

then simply hit "update preview" and "save" and it should resize the containers for your images!
