A. MCU Loki is not canonically bi. Period. End of story. First of all, rape does not make the victim queer, and second of all, you cannot incorporate mythological aspects into a story that divorces itself entirely from myth in that it throws myth relationships into the trash. Or are you claiming that Loki in myth was raised as “the son of Odin”? The sooner you stop insulting queer people by insisting that MCU Loki is canonically bi, the better.
B. Have you watched a single DC show? Because I have, and all I’ve seen is queerbaiting, pathetic crumbs thrown to the queer audience, more queerbaiting, and a cast of actors that actively mocks queer fanships.  Supergirl has hit just about every shitty trope minus “bury your gays” - Maggie had a tragic past that was only tragic because she was gay, Alex was terrified of coming out to her family, Alex and Maggie had to argue repeatedly over their incompatible queer backgrounds, Alex and Maggie apparently never once brought up something as fundamental as having children until the penultimate moment, Maggie’s homophobic father had to show up at her bridal shower thus making it Alex’s first chance to meet Maggie’s parents, ALEX AND MAGGIE FUCKING BREAKING UP IN THE MIDST OF THEIR BRIDAL PLANS BECAUSE GAY PEOPLE NEVER THINK TO DISCUSS HAVING CHILDREN.  And all that isn’t even getting into the way the CW’s promotions would promise that a show spent 50/50 time on Alex/Maggie and Kara/Mon-El, only for the former to get a handful of minutes at the end while the former got an entire episode.
And that’s just Supergirl.  A few hours of watching Legends of Tomorrow has made it clear that the sapphic adventure of Sara Lance that I was promised by every gifset about the show was in fact a fucking lie.  Yes, Sara kisses the girls.  Is that the premise of the show?  Nope.  Is it promoted more heavily in promos for each episode than it’s actually given time for?  100% YES.
I’ve never wasted my time on Gotham, but there are plenty of other bloggers will you detail to you the queerbaiting that’s done there, or the ignoring of sexualities other than straight, gay, or bi.
Dc has the potential to do great things - but do not point to their TV shows as evidence that they’ve done anything ground-breaking.
And stop conflating rape suspects with being queer.

My statement about MCU Loki isn’t based on fanon.  Go back to the first Thor movie.   Pause it on the book when it’s open to the description of Mythological Loki.  It details the story of Sleipnir’s birth. And mentions Loki taking male and female form at will.   Odin happens to be riding Sleipnir when he goes into Jotunheim.   Since Loki is genderfluid and panasexual in the comics it was not a hard leap.

Also as a panasexual woman I was never insulted by the idea of Loki being bi or pan because Loki grows quite a lot in the comics.  He’s currently a protagonist calling himself the God of Stories and that took years of development and I’m proud of what he’s become as a character.

And he has growth also in Ragnarok.  He shows more humanity (in my opinion) than Valkyrie.  Good and bad.

Rape suspects?  What Rape suspects are you talking about?   I’m very confused right now….
Also you should know the Marvel comics recreate nearly every one of the Norse mythos, with the biggest change being that Odin raised Loki.  The story of Mjolnir’s creation is covered in Trials of Loki (that’s also where Loki’s poor mouth is sewn shut).  And they covered Loki being confined under the serpent twice.
Most of the myths were retold in The Mighty Thor.  Jack Kirby was a huge fan of the mythology.

And when I was speaking of LGBT characters in DC I wasn’t talking about Gotham.  I haven’t even watched Gotham.  I was speaking of the CW shows and Lucifer.   And (though not yet confirmed) the new Constantine animated series.  Matt Ryan has said his version of Constantine IS Bi.
I don’t actually like Supergirl either so you’re not alone about that but I take comfort in knowing even the straight characters are written very badly in Supergirl.
I was speaking more about Sara Lance in Arrow and better later in Legends of Tomrrow and at least two other characters from Arrow whom I can’t name simply because I’m bad at remembering names and only recently binged the show this past summer.  The police chief in The Flash was gay and married, and over on Fox Lucifer and Mazikeen are both panasexual. (Why does everyone forget Vertigo - who publishes Lucifer, is a branch of DC?  In fact when Lucifer quit ruling Hell in the comics the story was in Sandman: Season of Mists, published by DC.)
I haven’t watched Gotham so I can’t comment on that but Sara Lance has had a lot of character growth and Lucifer is a very good and well developed chraacter- the ultimate redemption story and sexuality is never treated as something he needs to change.
I don’t know any of these characters as being “Rape suspects” So I’m very confused about that part of your post.
