Since I just got an ask about how I got into the series, behold! My childhood copy of NiD plus the sampler (which if I’m remembering right has Splash Garden and Mystic forest on it with their corresponding bosses only). I did some digging and apparently the Not For Resale one came bundled with the 3D Control Pad in a jumbo box. I have the control pad but the box and the manual were both lost by the time I got it as a kid if they even were with the game when my mom’s ex got his hands on them (considering the weird mix of games he had there is no guarantee this wasn’t a flea market buy). The manual was the large one from the jewel case release too so that’s why it wasn’t with the box. A childhood mystery of mine solved with 5 minutes of googling and a bit of ebay lol

Bonus photo of the rest of my collection (I sold most everything else because I knew I was never going to play them), all of which are untranslated Japanese titles. If anyone has any sources on Omakase Savers (the one on the far left) please let me know because this is apparently one of the worst FMV games on the console and I can’t find anything on it. Not in English at any rate.
