Saffron and Anya take their coffee mugs to the upstairs balcony outside Anita and Joël’s bedroom, the winter sun blinking clear and sharp and casting cold crisp shadows over the city skyscrapers.

“What an an amazing view,” says Anya.

“It can’t be as amazing as the view from Roy’s penthouse,” scoffs Saffron.

“Well, it’s pretty damn close,” says Anya. She sips her coffee and closes her eyes. “Oh, that’s so good. Another three or four coffees and I might actually be able to function.”

“What did you do last night?” says Saffron.

“I went to a friend's party,” says Anya. “And drank way too much punch.”

“Did Roy go too?”

“He stayed home. He had to pick the kids up early this morning. Besides, he thinks it’s inappropriate for him to go to parties filled with people my age. He thinks he’s going to be judged for being older or something.”

“Not like Roy to care about what other people think of him,” says Saffron.”He probably just didn’t want to go and that was his excuse.”

“Hmmm,” says Anya.

“He probably just doesn’t like your friends,” shrugs Saffron. “Do they like him?”

“Enough about me and Roy, I want to talk about you,” says Anya. “What’s the goss with your married man?”

“No goss,” says Saffron. “I just sort of caught feelings for a guy in my year and…told the married guy that it was over.”

“Oh my God! Saffron, you told me that the greatest thing about being with the married guy was that he couldn’t hurt you because it was just sex and you didn’t have any feelings for him! And now you’re saying you actually have feelings for someone? That’s huge!”

“I’m still not one hundred percent sure I’m not making a huge mistake,” says Saffron. ”It's scary as fuck. But I think he’s worth the risk. And…I’m meeting his parents tonight. They've invited me over for dinner."

“Oh my God,” says Anya.

“Right?” says Saffron.

For a while, I was addicted to having Young Jae Sung be a singer, so I alternated between playing this city and Anne Arbor (same creator).

I live with 4 male Sims. All of them are celebrities, so it's a luxury apartment.

I forgot how to build an apartment, so I renovated it, but since I changed everything except the walls (changed the floor plan, added an extension, and changed the furniture and doors), I think it's almost a new building.

i am finally done with that redbud bay lot i've been working on for (checks note) a week and two days! it's the mayor, donald turner's, mansion that he shares with his wife and twin kids. don't be fooled, saffron's the real one who made the fortune that financed this ginormous home.

there's 4.5 bedrooms, even more bathrooms, and a massive garage! i tried to decorate the downstairs more opulently so that don and saffron can entertain any important guests downstairs.

“What would you have preferred to do?” says Saffron.

“Go and have a coffee somewhere and talk.”

“Connor, right now I just need to have some mindless fun,” says Saffron. “And I don’t think you’re the type to get high and then spend two hours jumping on my Dad’s trampoline which is hands-down the best mindless fun ever, so the nerd shop it is.”

“Okay,” says Connor. “I’ll take your word for it. But we still need to have a serious talk at some point-“

“I have an emotional hangover, Connor. I’ve had too many feelings and too much crap to deal with the past few days and it’s getting to me. I just want to enjoy being a teenager for a change, you know what I mean?”

“Yeah,” says Connor. He gives her a lop-sided smile. “Yeah, of course I do. Okay. Let the mindless fun commence!”
