Goat: Howdy Howdy, Mr Fenrir
Siff: Hey Goat, how's it going?
Goat: Y'know
Siff: ... alright, good talking with ya! Hey is Lynn home today?
Goat: Yeah, but he's talking with Gage in the living room, you can go inside if ya want
Siff, walking through the door: Buddy? Ya home?
Lynn: you really did split this into two posts...
Gage: Hey Kyle, here to hang out?
Siff: yeah, I wanted to pick up Lynn for a ride, maybe some games, but uh, can I use the restroom real quick?
Gage: Go ahead, don't break anything
Siff, bumping into Lily in the hall: Ah, sorry
Siff, looking up: I- I
Lily: I'm sorry too, I didn't see you...
Siff: mommy
Lily: ... what?
Siff, running out through the living room embarrassed: HEY LYNN, SEE YA AT THE CAR!
Lynn, watching the front door slam: What was that about?
Lily, entering: I don't know, he bumped into me then mumbled something before scrambling

BEST OF SIFF: ROUND 5
THEATER CAMP: Directed by Molly Gordon and Nick Lieberman
Eccentric staff members of an upstate New York theater camp must band together when their beloved founder falls into a coma.
Growing up, I was not a theater kid. I am not a big fan of musicals, and I find them to be a little silly. However, Theather Camp made me wish I was a theater kid. This movie is an insane amount of fun, and everyone involved looks like they are having a blast. The movie is hysterical with its meta and situational comedy in a mockumentary setting. The performances across the board are outstanding, with the entire cast showcasing a masterful range of musical and comedic skills. Overall, Theater Camp is a hysterical movie that will make non-theater kids wish they were.
My Rating: A-

I LIKE MOVIES: Directed by Chandler Levack
A socially inept 17-year-old cinephile, Lawrence Kweller, gets a job at a video store where he hopes to earn $90 thousand to afford to go to film school at NYU.
On the surface, I Like Movies is about a teenager who loves movies and is trying to get into film school. However, writer and director Chandler Levack decide to take this story a step further. Between its comedic moments of film nostalgia, it masterfully weaves themes of mental health and SA into its story. It handles them perfectly and is masterfully showcased by the ensemble cast. Isaiah Lehtinen is the heart of this movie and gives a perfect performance that is both heartfelt and moving. And yes, he perfectly portrays what we pretentious cinephiles are like. I highly recommend this to cinephiles and non-cinephiles alike.
My Rating: A-
