If nothing else, I can at least mention being in the phandom since literally the day Mystery Meat premiered in the USA. I was three months and change away from my 12th birthday, and the premise just HOOKED me from the promos, so I made sure I was free that April 3rd and ran inside when it started.

Two years later, I was thrilled to finally be the same age (14) as my favorite superhero!

As I sit here, three months and change away from my 32nd birthday, it warms my heart that the phandom has mirrored Danny himself: alive and dead, funny and horrific, innocent and oh-so-jaded.

Since I'm still so into Phantom of the Opera right now. I don't want to argue with theatre nerds and the particular reason is that because there should be no argument when talking about interpretation because the nature of spontaneity in theatre. It's different with movie where there can only be one interpretation which is what is shown in movie like I have once fighting with Star Wars fans over sequels and Reylo (ugh). But here me out.

In 25th anniversary, some comments about Hadley Fraser's Raoul is that he doesn't have enough chemistry with Christine. He looks so oblivious to everything and look down on everyone with the slight cockiness. But it's because Hadley Fraser IS oblivious about everything. At that moment prior to being in 25th anniversary he never play in Phantom of the Opera (and still haven't other than for this performance to this day when I write this post) and never even watch a single show. I imagine his acting is fully based on the book and director. We often blinded by a dashing Raoul since Steve Barton era but he is actually still a jerk. Neither Erik or Raoul is good for Christine. Hadley wasn't influenced by any version of Raoul so he delivered exactly as it is written in the book.

Edit: and that for me makes Hadley's Raoul as the most genuine version.

Like Hadley, I also still wonder why they chose him. Was it because Ramin's input? Or was it because he made perfect Grantaire to Ramin's Enjolras in Les Mis 25 a year before which Cameron Mackintosh be thinking 'you know what, let's do weird stunt casting'? Was it that reason add together with him being cameo in Les Mis movie?

Incredibly scuffed updated mangora tierlist. These are based on like a very wide variety of factors but mostly either how much I enjoyed their canon writing or how much I enjoy writing about them (either literally or hypothetically), this isn’t really based on the morality of the characters like at all. Also to be honest I like all the td characters to some extent I just like some more than others, and to be honest putting it into tiers or levels is very hard for me because I like them all for such varied reasons but here’s a roughly accurate and simplified version. ngl you've kind of hit their type on the head, lol. Zae's original romance in Wayhaven was Ava (stoic leader who doesn't like to be overly emotional), is currently Mason (grumpy, sarcastic, flirtatious. FWB to lovers romance), and you are surely familiar by now that they have a thing for Blane in WTS that they're probably in denial of bc they've been rivals for so long. lol. so Tallys would absolutely, 100%, without a doubt be Zae's type. like I know this in my heart. Chase would be a good contender as well, but he might also fall into the same category that F and A from Wayhaven and WTS respectively fall into? an absolutely wonderful friend who they get into mischief too, but isn't Zae's cup of tea romantically. idk what it is about them that falls so hard for the stoics and the grumps, but gosh.

at any rate, yeah, I could def see them having a FWB relationship w Tallys! and likely falling pretty hard for her, buuuut... idk if they'd make a solid lasting couple? they might want different long-term things and not have enough in common to make it work, but hey, you never know

as for Blade, yeah, I would hazard a guess that Zae would also have a big fat crush on him LOL. they do like a stoic leader. I think they'd probably also not have enough in common to last as a couple though, plus I feel like (w both Blade and Tallys), that denial of romantic feelings might hurt Zae's feelings? but as said before: hey, you never know

The weirdest thing is happening to me.

I'm happy with my art, like consistently. Even if the drawing doesn't turn out exactly the way I imagined it would, I still end up loving the result. Still no consistent artstyle but I feel like I almost don't need that if I'm happy with the result regardless.

Gosh, I know the drama about Lea Michele and Glee and then the drama surrounding Funny Girl revival which is such a hot mess. Beanie Feldstein shouldn't have gotten the job but nepo baby everyone!!!! Everyone raging over eventual Lea Michele casting is also woww especially because the Glee behind the scene problem was still quite fresh on public's minds.

After watching POTO then I also know Ramin is the male lead. Man, I keep gasping and wtf-ing watching the recap of the drama (as in the drama surrounding not the musical itself) on youtube videos and then reading through comments and threads on reddit. I feel slightly bad that people especially on reddit were gossiping everything about Funny Girl and they open every Ramin's cards there including the Rierra thingy which I honestly wanna know more and now I sort of know more but at what cost (sigh). I still have so many questions though but I don't know who to ask or even to talk about Rierra. Ugh, Amber Ardolino for fucks sake, I know she's an influencer but of all pics she could use as her pfp it's gotta be when she watched Harmony...haaa ofc. No wonder he took the Italy job, good for him. He looked so knackered.
